I had dropped off two of my dogs (10yrs old & 2 yrs old) for a 7 day stay and within the 3rd day they started to have issues, and by then I didn't trust thwn to watch my babies. It was my first time boarding my dogs and I had trusted paws crossing to take care of them. I had printed out photos and details on both of my dogs and how to care for them. I constantly was watching the camera that was placed in their cottage and from what I can see, they were neglected. Barely any play time, walks, potty breaks, etc. I had booked their boarding stay with them because as listed on their website for the cottage I was paying for they would get walk, playtime and expected potty breaks. What really made me what to type up this review is how some of their workers handled the situation and how they were speaking to me. Theres communication between the employees on how the dogs should've been taken care of and when I called they gave me attitude. Since by the 3rd morning of my dogs staying there I noticed they were peeing and having diarrhea in their cottage that was left in the room with them for hours, I kept calling and no response or call back. I watched them clean it but their way of cleaning is taking a mop and smearing it all around leaving remaining residue behind. I have only seen one girl worker that actually took the proper cleaning measures and she was the only one that was professional. One last thing that really had be shocked was how after I had gave them permission to take my small 2 yr old dog to the MedVet next door since he wasn't eating, shaking and having a liquid stool, and after he was done with the medvet where he was there for hours they just threw him in the same kennel with my medium 10 yr old dog. If you know dogs they're going to smell different and like the vet and my small dog get attacked in the middle of the night as I watched and panicked from miles away and I called and no one answered the phone or went to check up on my dogs. Later the next day I thought everything was okay but later on I get a call that my small dog has puncture wounds all around his neck and near his eye, they have to send him to the medvet again. You would think since it's basically their fault for throwing in my small dog with my larger dog after knowing he was just at the vet and smells different to watch how they react to each other. And I was left with the medical bills for that and I had to have another family member pick both my dogs up after that since they don't seem to know what they're doing. From what I was told from the family member who picked up my dogs they kept complaining about my small 2 year old dog, the one that got attacked.

We were new to dog boarding , but due to many trips we finally had to do it and we were happy to find this place. The 5 star rating is mainly for the owner/ manager that got rid of one of the nastiest people at the front desk. Unfortunately, we had to deal with Amanda quite a few times and she was ALWAYS unpleasant. Even when I first came to tour the facility , she was rude. I can go into detail, but no need since she's gone now. Before dropping off my pup this morning , I had an anxious feeling in my stomach thinking that I would have to deal with her again.... But she wasn't there. Then I asked "does she still work here?" And they said no! You could see that even the other staff are relieved now that she is no longer there. Again, applauding the manager or owner that payed attention to the toxic/ negative employee and took action. No one needs to feel uncomfortable when dropping their fur baby off. We need smiling, compassionate, and warm employees like : Bella, Diana, and Pebbles . Thanks you for taking good care of my pup!

Belle after daycare. A tired pup is a good pup.

Been using Paws Crossing since January for my Belle. She has boarded there 3 times and attends daycare 1 day a week. She loves going and we've had no issues. Super convenient, right off 17 and Camden/San Tomas and offers indoor and outdoor play. They set up wading pools on hot days.

My dog at Paws Crossing - left in his room and was not taken out to release himself. He released himself in the room.

My dog stayed at Paws Crossing for few days in a large private cottage, and they provided the most terrible service possible. I was promised I get daily emails with updates which I never got. I was told that he gets two daily walks to release himself - and I have been watching him in the Pet Cam, he would bark so much to get out in the morning and no one would take him out. After an hour he had to release himself in his room and then I saw him going to his poop and licking. I had to cut my trip short to come and rescue him from this cruel boarding place. I brought him home and he started getting sick - fever, severe diarrhea. I sent the following email to the facility - no response. I also left a message to talk to the manager- no one called me back. ---- Saturday August 21st, I was watching Pluto on the Pet Cam, as he was barking in the dark and no one was helping him to get out to release himself. So after an hour of barking he pooped and peed in his room, which is unacceptable and inhumane. Then after few hrs., someone came in and swept it away. You stated that you came in at 6:30 AM and took him out which is a lie as you wouldn't release all these dogs in the dark and walk them back in their room in the dark, and he wouldn't be barking for two hrs. with no attention. A stay in the Cottages includes: Twice Daily Walks Private Playtime Daycare or Other Activities available for Additional Charge - which I paid additional fees so he plays 9 to 12. He didn't get the walk, otherwise he wouldn't be releasing himself in his room. He also didn't get a private playtime - as on Friday - he was also barking a lot after 5 pm for hrs., and no one would even pay any attention, I was told he would have a concierge dedicated to the cottages. I was told I would get daily email with pictures and updates, which I never got one on Thursday and Friday. I left numerous messages on Saturday so I can get someone to help him, with no answer. I cut my trip short and came and picked him up on Saturday and I get an email around the same time I picked him up that he is doing well but has upset stomach because of the stress. He has upset stomach because the staff left his fresh food out all day and fresh food can't be left out all day, and it grows bacteria. I also have a picture of him that he was either licking or sniffing his own poop in the room which was there for couple of hrs. His poop that morning wasn't runny, otherwise the staff wouldn't be able to sweep it. I am reporting this incident to the corporate office in Ohio as well. Please don't take your dog to this facility and go through what we are going through. My dog is in Saratoga Veterinary Hospital right now.

When you walk in you are met with smiling faces. They have an outside area where dogs can commingle together but first they have to pass a test to make sure your dog is friendly. They have special doggie Suites... looks like a hotel room laugh out loud. We have used this place before and they took great care of our dog. I gave them 5 stars even though they were completely full :-(

What is a typical "daycare" day like for a dog? Where do they spend the day? Any walks, group play time, etc provided with the basic day care service?

Our dog is not very social with other dogs, specifically bigger dogs. She will bark but not bite, and will warm up to them with a little time. Would this be a problem?

Our rabbit is very important to us so I set out to find the best possible pet sitter in the area for peace of mind, that was when I stumbled upon Furry Friends Pet sitting. We boarded our beloved senior rabbit (who is a very sassy bun) for 11 days as we had to leave for an overseas trip. Barbara is very great at communication from the first contact all throughout the duration of rabbit boarding. Questions are specific as in which veggies are most preferred, hay preference, vaccine and vet information. They also provided an enclosure with toys and hidey spots so all we had to do was drop our bun off in a carrier. She would send daily videos and photos along with detailed updates (like how she would lounge all day and snack on her hay and list the veggies she was fed). Barbara shows a lot of experience as she has a variety of veggies as well as regularly cleaning out the water bowl and tidying the enclosure. She would also spend time petting and changing up the toys and tunnels as well. Receiving texts on our bun was something I looked forward to during our trip as I would see how relaxed and comfortable she was! If you are looking for an experienced rabbit sitter in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to inquire here! Thank you so much for watching our bun! Photos below are from Barbara's daily updates.

Watching Lucky Buddies grow has been such a joy, but what amazes me most is that their heart has never changed. Even as they've expanded, every dog is still treated like family. Teddy has been loved, cared for, and celebrated every step of the way, and there isn't a single person on the Lucky Buddies team that I wouldn't trust with him. They've truly become part of our village. From daycare and baths to transportation, check-ins, and walks, they've made life so much easier over the years. But beyond the services, it's the peace of mind that means the most. I never have to wonder if Teddy is safe, loved, or happy--I know he is. As I prepare to move away, one of the hardest things to leave behind is Lucky Buddies. I honestly don't know how I'll ever find another place like them. They've set the standard for what exceptional dog care looks like, and I will forever be grateful for the love they've poured into Teddy over the past six years. My partner and I learned about Brassy's Paw Army through a friend who sought obedience training for his puppy and then continued to use their dog walking and active paws service after. We needed someone to watch our dog while we were away on vacation. However, we were skeptical of leaving him with someone who was under qualified or uncomfortable with a stubborn, and headstrong dog like ours. We also did not like idea of our little guy being boarded somewhere where he would be left in a kennel all day. For context: Our dog has received training from multiple trainers in the Bay Area and even completed a board and train program due to his dog reactivity. Needless to say, we are very aware that not everyone feels comfortable caring for a reactive dog. We are also not as trusting of just anyone to feel confident in caring for him as well. Having the background knowledge that Brassy also works as a dog trainer, we felt she would be a good option. We reached out through email and she was quick in following up through text. She connected us with Brizza who has been Fidel's main care taker in the paw army. We scheduled a meet and greet and then a few sessions for Brizza to walk Fidel (our dog) so they can become acquainted. We gave her background on the training Fidel had and the tools we use. He eventually started going for "active paws" sessions which gave us such peace of mind knowing that he was both getting time out of the house AND receiving much needed exposure/training with his dog reactivity and reinforcing his obedience training. They use an app to make it easy to book services and to also update us on what Fidel is up to. When we have had Fidel boarded with Brizza, we are so comfortable knowing that he is with someone who treats him like their own dog. She is so accommodating and truly loves our dog. I can't recommend Laurie's pet sitting (PetsitterGirl) highly enough!…read more I first met Laurie in 2012 when I had two kittens that needed pet sitting. I was traveling for work quite a bit at that time. One of my goals for my cats was that they should be as well adjusted, outgoing, confident and social as they could be. I feel like Laurie has always understood this and I really appreciate that. Laurie has always gone above and beyond to make sure that my cats have fun, eat their food and get the attention they need. When I get home after Laurie has been cat sitting, my cats are excited to see me but they are calm and not stressed. When my cats were younger, one of them broke his leg and needed knee surgery. (I guess he was a little too confident!) Laurie ensured he still received petting and played within his abilities even though he had to be confined to a large crate to recuperation. This past fall I had my refrigerator replaced. On one of Laurie's visits she arrived to find a hose from behind the refrigerator spewing water at full force! Laurie texted/emailed me right away. Even though I was on a plane and couldn't immediately respond, she took action. By the time my flight landed, the water had been turned off, the water had been mopped and toweled up and the situation was as resolved as it could get until I reached home. I was extremely grateful as we had also just had a new wood floor installed. The water damage could have been very costly. I also want to add a summary of the experience my parents have had. They have an elderly kitty (17 years) who is receiving fluids 3 times per week. When we all went on vacation together, Laurie made sure that my parents' senior cat made it to his vet to get fluids.
