Belle after daycare. A tired pup is a good pup.
    Kim D.

Been using Paws Crossing since January for my Belle. She has boarded there 3 times and attends daycare 1 day a week. She loves going and we've had no issues. Super convenient, right off 17 and Camden/San Tomas and offers indoor and outdoor play. They set up wading pools on hot days.

My dog at Paws Crossing - left in his room and was not taken out to release himself. He released himself in the room.

My dog stayed at Paws Crossing for few days in a large private cottage, and they provided the most terrible service possible. I was promised I get daily emails with updates which I never got. I was told that he gets two daily walks to release himself - and I have been watching him in the Pet Cam, he would bark so much to get out in the morning and no one would take him out. After an hour he had to release himself in his room and then I saw him going to his poop and licking. I had to cut my trip short to come and rescue him from this cruel boarding place. I brought him home and he started getting sick - fever, severe diarrhea. I sent the following email to the facility - no response. I also left a message to talk to the manager- no one called me back. ---- Saturday August 21st, I was watching Pluto on the Pet Cam, as he was barking in the dark and no one was helping him to get out to release himself. So after an hour of barking he pooped and peed in his room, which is unacceptable and inhumane. Then after few hrs., someone came in and swept it away. You stated that you came in at 6:30 AM and took him out which is a lie as you wouldn't release all these dogs in the dark and walk them back in their room in the dark, and he wouldn't be barking for two hrs. with no attention. A stay in the Cottages includes: Twice Daily Walks Private Playtime Daycare or Other Activities available for Additional Charge - which I paid additional fees so he plays 9 to 12. He didn't get the walk, otherwise he wouldn't be releasing himself in his room. He also didn't get a private playtime - as on Friday - he was also barking a lot after 5 pm for hrs., and no one would even pay any attention, I was told he would have a concierge dedicated to the cottages. I was told I would get daily email with pictures and updates, which I never got one on Thursday and Friday. I left numerous messages on Saturday so I can get someone to help him, with no answer. I cut my trip short and came and picked him up on Saturday and I get an email around the same time I picked him up that he is doing well but has upset stomach because of the stress. He has upset stomach because the staff left his fresh food out all day and fresh food can't be left out all day, and it grows bacteria. I also have a picture of him that he was either licking or sniffing his own poop in the room which was there for couple of hrs. His poop that morning wasn't runny, otherwise the staff wouldn't be able to sweep it. I am reporting this incident to the corporate office in Ohio as well. Please don't take your dog to this facility and go through what we are going through. My dog is in Saratoga Veterinary Hospital right now.

CAUTION when leaving your fur babies here! Staff don't listen to directions. My boyfriend and I went out of the country for two weeks and left our black lab in the care of Paws Crossing. I specifically gave directions on in case of emergency which vet to take our dog to. They took him to a different vet after a week where our dog was having bloody diarrhea. They removed our dog from the cottage sweets for majority of the time which we were charged in full for. They didn't attempt to contact us nor any of our emergency contact on file with any updates. They emailed us the day before we got home to let us know he was taketo emergency and attempted to email us though we got no updates or prior emails to this incident. To top it off when we got our dog back he had sores on his mouth like he had been biting on something all week. Very disappointed in the care our dog received. I am an experienced veterinary technician and understand how to care for other pets and word can't describe the mistreatment paws crossing placed on our baby! They took advantage of us as we trusted them to take care of him. I would not recommend leaving your fur babies here!

When you walk in you are met with smiling faces. They have an outside area where dogs can commingle together but first they have to pass a test to make sure your dog is friendly. They have special doggie Suites... looks like a hotel room laugh out loud. We have used this place before and they took great care of our dog. I gave them 5 stars even though they were completely full :-(

This was when the infection started to irritate my cat's paw and he wouldn't let me touch it. He was so sensitive.

Ask the Community - Paws Crossing Pet Resort & Spa

What is a typical "daycare" day like for a dog? Where do they spend the day? Any walks, group play time, etc provided with the basic day care service?

Our dog is not very social with other dogs, specifically bigger dogs. She will bark but not bite, and will warm up to them with a little time. Would this be a problem?

Our rabbit is very important to us so I set out to find the best possible pet sitter in the area for peace of mind, that was when I stumbled upon Furry Friends Pet sitting. We boarded our beloved senior rabbit (who is a very sassy bun) for 11 days as we had to leave for an overseas trip. Barbara is very great at communication from the first contact all throughout the duration of rabbit boarding. Questions are specific as in which veggies are most preferred, hay preference, vaccine and vet information. They also provided an enclosure with toys and hidey spots so all we had to do was drop our bun off in a carrier. She would send daily videos and photos along with detailed updates (like how she would lounge all day and snack on her hay and list the veggies she was fed). Barbara shows a lot of experience as she has a variety of veggies as well as regularly cleaning out the water bowl and tidying the enclosure. She would also spend time petting and changing up the toys and tunnels as well. Receiving texts on our bun was something I looked forward to during our trip as I would see how relaxed and comfortable she was! If you are looking for an experienced rabbit sitter in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to inquire here! Thank you so much for watching our bun! Photos below are from Barbara's daily updates.

My partner and I learned about Brassy's Paw Army through a friend who sought obedience training for his puppy and then continued to use their dog walking and active paws service after. We needed someone to watch our dog while we were away on vacation. However, we were skeptical of leaving him with someone who was under qualified or uncomfortable with a stubborn, and headstrong dog like ours. We also did not like idea of our little guy being boarded somewhere where he would be left in a kennel all day. For context: Our dog has received training from multiple trainers in the Bay Area and even completed a board and train program due to his dog reactivity. Needless to say, we are very aware that not everyone feels comfortable caring for a reactive dog. We are also not as trusting of just anyone to feel confident in caring for him as well. Having the background knowledge that Brassy also works as a dog trainer, we felt she would be a good option. We reached out through email and she was quick in following up through text. She connected us with Brizza who has been Fidel's main care taker in the paw army. We scheduled a meet and greet and then a few sessions for Brizza to walk Fidel (our dog) so they can become acquainted. We gave her background on the training Fidel had and the tools we use. He eventually started going for "active paws" sessions which gave us such peace of mind knowing that he was both getting time out of the house AND receiving much needed exposure/training with his dog reactivity and reinforcing his obedience training. They use an app to make it easy to book services and to also update us on what Fidel is up to. When we have had Fidel boarded with Brizza, we are so comfortable knowing that he is with someone who treats him like their own dog. She is so accommodating and truly loves our dog.
