Found Wigglez N Wagz: Wigglez N Wagz was recommended to me and after ready the reviews on Yelp I decided to give them a try. After the Chucky's first haircut I knew Wigglez N Wagz was the right fit for us. Experience: Kristina and her team are just awesome, they were supper gentle and patient with Chucky. I am always concerned that Chucky will be mistreated and that the job will be rushed just to get to the next appointment, but I do not have to worry about that with Wigglez N Wagz. I will be positing up pictures of Chucky's entire experience. Process: Being that Chucky is a maltese he has very challenging hair, but Kristina and her team know just how to work it. 1. They first start off by brushing his hair to remove any matts. 2. They clean his ears by removing any hair growing in his ear canal. 3. Then they prepares the water at the perfect temperature to begin his bath. In order to get that clean white look on Chucky they use 3 special shampoos that are gentle on his skin. They make sure to wash his face with a tear free shampoo as well. During his bath they also clean his anal glans. 4. Next they towel dry him before using the blow dryer. 5. Once Chucky is nice and dry they begin to give him his teddy bear haircut. They also make sure to cut Chucky's nails and smooth them out with a small buffer. 6. Chucky's teeth are then cleaned and they spray on a fresh smelling doggy cologne. The end results speak for themselves. I am at ease when Chucky is they Kristina and her team, I know he is in great hands and therefore I give them 5 stars. Check out Chucky's pictures. She has even helped me get him out from under the bed when it is time for his nail trim (how is that for A-1 service!!). I am very curious where these fake negative reviews are coming from? Also astonished by the number of people who cancel at the last minute? This is no different than making an appointment with a hairdresser -- if you cancel at the last minute or no-show, there is a fee. Come on, people, Amanda is a professional, and if we expect professional services for our fur babies, we need to treat her as such. She took him to her van and was back with our handsome, happy boy in about 20min! He got a belly shave (took care of a couple bad mattes) and sani shave. He looked great and was not traumatised in the slightest. She was clear with her instructions before the appt and kept good communication. Payment was easy with many options like Zelle/Venmo or check or credit card (with a fee.) We will start to use her services on the regular to keep our long haired guy in great shape. I was honestly nervous about taking Trixie to a groomer because of the scary things I've seen on social media. It's hard to find a place you can truly trust with your fur baby. We tried multiple scratching posts, but he just wasn't interested. After some searching, I found an amazing groomer named Stacy. I was able to stop by her location, and she quickly trimmed his nails--he was so much happier afterward! The price was very reasonable, especially since I chose to go to her instead of using her mobile grooming van, which helped save a bit of money. Later, I decided to book a full grooming session for him. I was a little nervous since he's 10 years old and had never had a bath before. I worried he might be upset with me afterward--but to my surprise, he was his usual purring, happy self! His fur was incredibly soft, he smelled great, and you'd never know he'd just had a completely new experience. I'll definitely keep going back to Stacy for nail trims. As for the full grooming--it was a bit pricey for my budget, but I completely understand why. It takes serious skill, patience, and training to do what she does, and Stacy is truly a master at her craft!
