(I contacted them a year or two ago when we were considering using them. We didn't end up needing them, but when we tried them last week when we finally did, John did not decide to call us back.) The shop is small but I was drawn to the cageless grooming so dogs aren't kenneled the whole time. Aniyah took time putting the loose dogs behind the gates so they could test taking Penny back and she instantly warmed up to her as she walked back. When I rescued Penny, she had never been groomed so her quicks are pretty long, but I liked how they utilize the "alternative cut" style then filing each nail so it's short as possible. While she was nervous on the table, Aniyah did a great job talking to her the whole time and kept her as comfortable as possible. Forgot to take the before, but they came out amazing afterwards. Kathy took exceptional care of my cats Bo and Snowball last year while I was out of state for a…read moremonth. Bo is typically shy and hides in the closet but he took to her, left the closet and regularly interacted with her. She went out of her way to spend quality time with them daily. Her communication is excellent and she provided daily updates with pictures. Bo got sick while I was away, she took him to the vet and called me so I could speak with the vet for the entirety of the visit and know exactly what was going on. Afterwards she spent additional time with him daily to make sure he was improving and doing well. He doesn't like taking medication and she immediately took the initiative to buy meat to ensure he took the full course of his medication. Kathy was the only one I trusted to take care of my cats in my absence and she is still the only one I'd trust. A 5 star review doesn't give justice for everything she did and if I could I'd rate her higher.

Picked up our dog this week after a 6 day stay and they neglected to tell us she had diarrhea and…read morewas ill while In their care. Took her to the vet within 24 hours and she had a fever, diarrhea, vomiting, and blood coming out of her nose..$3500 later and she has pneumonia and is very ill and in the animal hospital. When i called the business they apologized that they forgot to tell us her tummy was upset. This is way more than a stomach ache and they should have informed us right away. Take your dog elsewhere. *update: she has now passed over the rainbow bridge. Called the facility to let them know and they informed me the owner won't be in until next week. No apologizing, nothing.
