Super quick for a full bath and cut, and my mini goldendoodle smelled great for days!! I've been working with my pup for a bit now on touching his paws and crate training and the staff was very attentive and considerate of my dog. His cut was very even/smooth and nails were perfectly trimmed. I always feel bad leaving my dog places, but know he's in great hands here and I never have any worries!! Also, their pricing is great. After my mobile pet groomer was no longer taking larger dogs, I was in desperate need to find somewhere that could take care of my fat boy! Due to him being a rescue, he wasn't socialized early on, so he really isn't too fond of other dogs. I reached out to them on a Sunday, and the owner, Monica, got back to me super quick and was willing to show him some love! Most places normally don't take or even want to deal with bigger dogs, let alone pits here in SD, so this was awesome! Due to everything going on, it was a drop off/pick up style, and the lady who met us outside (I'm sorry I didn't catch your name) was extremely friendly and I felt like I had chosen the right place for my boy, Koa. Picking him up after was super easy, and boy did he smell waaaay better! Haha, he looked super happy, we didn't notice any signs of distress, and overall it was an easy experience! I would definitely recommend you give them a look. Another plus is that this place was only 5 min away from my home. I normally never review places, but when it comes to our fur babies I know people (like myself) want to make sure they're in safe hands. read more

I walked in early for an appointment and three people who worked there never even acknowledged I was standing there. After a few minutes and no words, I walked out. Walked my dog and came back and was greeted. Haircut was good. But groomer complained about my dog. Had explained to her that he hasn't had many grooms before, she didn't seem to care. No stars. I took my two yorkie teacups (boy and girl) for a flea bath and a haircut. When I went to pick them up my girls hair was chopped all the way off and my boy the same, their hair in the front wasn't even shaped or anything. Found this place online while looking for a new groomer since I have moved and to be honest this place sounded great from all the reviews... unfortunately I was disappointed. I requested a full serviced bath with an add-on of deshedding and teeth cleaning. When I first received my dog, I noticed his front nails were very uneven and barely trimmed. I then checked his teeth and they were clearly not cleaned, turns out they never even added it when I asked them to. Then I checked his ears and they were still as dirty as they were from when I dropped him off. Lastly he was not properly brushed, he still had patches and hair falling out everywhere. My dog is a sweetheart but people get intimated only because he is a Doberman. When I first arrived the front desk lady looked terrified to take him from my hands. I would have rather been turned away then pay for a poor quality job. read more

I have been taking my Siberian Husky to Monica ever since she opened. We have never had a bad experience there. And he really seems to enjoy going there. A hidden gem in Lemon Grove. Behind the pet store on Lemon Grove Ave. at Golden Ave. So happy to find this groomer. Staff welcoming & prices were fair. Took my Poodle-Bishon mix for a bath & clean up. She had taken a dirt bath at the dog park so she was a mess. She was beautiful & happy. She even received a Valentine kerchief. I was very happy with the service & Katie is a great groomer. We will return for sure. I recommend highly! read more

I was so impressed with Monica. I brought my 5 dogs for grooming. They all were in dire needs of grooming and trimming. I picked them up a few hours later and was shocked to see how great they looked. I was also quite surprised that none of my dogs stressed out while undergoing their beauty day. They really enjoyed it. BUT! BUT! the most shocking surprise was how inexpensive the grooming was. I even asked Monica to double check the price because it just didn't seem possible. I highly recommend taking your pets for grooming to Monica. You will get professional grooming with a home town feeling for a wonderful price. read more
