Henry's also fielded many numerous questions over many calls. They installed our Ecobee thermostats. They followed up for a year on maintenance calls. When we had a problem with one of the thermostats they immediately came out and solved it. They have continued to maintain the units since that time. Whenever a technician(s) comes out they immediately go to work and do not, except for the installation which was all day, and continue until finished.

We later learned that the invoice included a statement saying that we refused to repair holes in the AC unit. That is completely untrue. We had never had holes in the unit identified during our previous AC service with another company just one month earlier. We are also concerned about the amount we were charged and the lack of transparency regarding the work performed and the charges. Based on our experience, we do not feel that Ainsworth was honest or forthcoming with us. We expect a complete, itemized receipt, an explanation of the charges, and a correction of the inaccurate statement on our service record. We also expect any improper charges to be refunded. This experience has seriously damaged our trust in the company.

Nothing to bad, but definitely noticeable considering the model prides itself on the low noise. At any rate the repair guy got here and my wife let him in to take a look at things (I was working). He determined he didn't have the part and would return or call to schedule his return. He didn't return nor did he call back for a few days. When he called back I scheduled him to come out. (Going to fast track this to the point). He came out and my wife let him in. (My wife tells me this is what happens). He changed the part out, it was no longer making the previous noise it is now making a new louder noise. My wife said she inquired about this, she said the guy told her to just call back and make a new claim. He leaves... WHAT! NOOOOO! It is completely unacceptable to be called out to fix 1 thing and he leaves us with a new problem. Terrible customer service. This is not what we bargain for. You should Proceed with caution. It is is ridiculous for a company or employees to operate in this fashion. Not sure if management knows of this but it is clear to me that the company's expectations are not of excellence, customer satisfaction and quality service. Another update due to another great experience with AirChampion…read more Recent electrical outages and surges have taken a toll on many things in our house, but the A/C is the main thing I was concerned about. In triple-digit heat, the last thing you want is your A/C to not work resulting in you lying in a pool of sweat under a marginally-effective ceiling fan. Had some concerns recently regarding our system due to yet another brief power outage and subsequent surge that results afterward. Outside fan on the air conditioner wasn't coming back on after repeated attempts. Called AirChampion and they squeezed us in, getting to the house within 3 hours of our call. Thankfully we finally were able to get the system up and running again prior to the tech arriving, but we did want to make sure that the capacitor in the outside fan had not been damaged. A quick test revealed it was operating at about 90 percent capacity. Tech also gave us some pointers about what to do should the motor in that outside fan cease to operate. Great tips! There is a reason we have been using AirChampion for over 40 years - and this is it. Great job!

Trying to reschedule another appointment at a convenient time for us proved to be difficult so I sought out an alternative repair company and found Houston Appliance Repair. They were able to schedule something the next day in a late afternoon time slot which worked for us. We received an email from them once their technician was en route and also received a phone call shortly thereafter indicating an ETA. The technician arrived and was able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem at a reasonable price. Shortly afterwards, we received an email with the attached invoice summarizing the work. All in all, a positive experience and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
