I can't remember the last time that has happened to me, and I'm as old as dirt. :-) If you are a maker, tinkerer or just a fan of cool old stuff you owe yourself a visit to Apex. For me, it was at the end of a 400 mile drive, I was tired and had other places to go, but every minute there was a pleasure.

From the moment we entered, as Hispanics we felt as though we were being closely watched and followed throughout the store in a way that made us uncomfortable. We had no large bags or items with us--just a wallet--yet we were treated with a level of suspicion that did not seem warranted. At the same time, another customer (take a gander) in the store, who had a large backpack, which looked like it could fit an arsenal was able to shop freely without the same level of attention. The contrast in how we were treated was noticeable and concerning. Prior to visiting, I had already spoken with someone about purchasing a higher-priced item. However, due to the way we were treated during our visit, my husband and I decided not to move forward with the purchase. Instead, we chose to leave and spend our money elsewhere. We ended up going to a nearby business (Ss donuts) where we experienced welcoming and respectful service, which only highlighted the difference. The guy went to the back to get my order since it wasn't at the front. The customer service here is great when I was there. I also walked around the store and it's nicely organized here. The produce area is toward the back once you make a left turn after entering. Starbucks is on the right side. They only have 4 self checkout station at this location.

When I pointed out the missing $100, he seemed irritated that I noticed instead of trying to fix the mistake professionally. After checking the register cameras, he didnt say a word and handed me the remaining money without offering any apology or explanation. Customer service matters, especially when handling refunds and expensive electronics. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place. I honestly would have had a better experience shopping at GameStop.
