Great experience with PB Painting from start to finish. The guy who came to get an estimate was very friendly and helpful, explaining the different types of paint and shine etc that may go on different types of walls and rooms. Their estimate was less than a similar company I also got an estimate from, so went with them. I told them I was flexible with my dates, so I got an additional discount at signing. I thought that would mean it may delay the painting, but they actually started 2 days later. First the painter came out to get my color samples, a few of the samples I had were from a different brand but they were able to color match for me. I then got a text the next morning at 8:30am that they could start that day at 10. The painters were really friendly, asked a few question but besides that just got everything done. It took them about 3 1/2 days total from start to finish. Upon completion we did a couple of walk throughs to make sure everything was perfect, which it was! They even put all my stuff back exactly where it was in the closets and everything. I'm so happy with the job that was done. read more

I was initially hesitant to hire them because they were the lowest bid, but they completely exceeded my expectations in every way. The communication was fantastic. Unfortunately, we have had a terrible experience with them. They caused damage to our security cameras, sprinkle system, lighting. The costliest damage is to the concrete all around the house. Quote from Pressure Washing company that Cameron sent to clean the grey spots: He did not want to cause more damage, so he only soft washed the concrete. "There were multiple markings/damages to the decorative concrete from attempts at paint or tape removal from the areas. From my observations, the top coating of either the sealant or cement staining was taken off from pressure washing by the crew of PB Painting from their project of painting the house itself." Cameron, the owner got the check immediately after the job was supposedly done and never did a final walkthrough. We mentioned the damages, specifically I showed him the grey spots all around the house. We sent him emails and called him several times about the quality of work and damages to our property. He never came back personally and did not respond to our calls and emails. I would not recommend them. Now we have to hire concrete specialist to hopefully get those stains out which is very costly if even possible. read more

After getting my tile roof lifted and re-layed with new underlayment I had a lot of damaged wood replaced for my eaves and facia. After getting several painting bids, PB Painting quickly responded with the lowest price. Like others, I was hesitant because it seemed to good to be true. But when I reviewed their contract stating the scope of work, the exact materials being used and warranty, I couldn't find any short cuts or unknown brands. In addition, Cameron took the initiative to bid some stucco patch and paint work on my house and backyard walls that he deemed necessary. Though I was not focused on that, I'm glad he bid it because it did need repair. The completed project turned out exceptional. There was some confusion as to the paint sheen but it all was resolved readily. PB Painting just finished the exterior of our two story, 4 bedroom stucco & wood house and garage. Cameron Maltby, the owner, was quick, reliable and fair during the quote process, actually listened to some contract suggestions, and we finalized our bid in short order after comparing 3 other quotes. His painting team, led by Giovanni, and assisted by Osvaldo and Martin', were professional, polite, efficient and above all diligent in their efforts and our house looks spectacular! Giovanni was a prince in brining up questions on the details and choices of how we wanted detailed tasks performed and then carried them out. No wonder he was in charge of the team. In addition to the painting, the team sanded and put a new MINWAX stain and clear coated our front door, repaired our garage door side strips, installed a new side entry door and locks on the garage , and were very careful to cover all windows, pavers, and other surfaces not to be painted. In painting our upper level, requiring walking on our Spanish tiles, they did not break one tile! Plus, they spent a good deal of time cleaning up EVERY DAY and being careful of neighbors' property. Contractors can be very difficult to deal with, always looking for opportunities to skip a step or make an extra buck by using inferior crews and materials, but PB Painting made this big job a success! read more
