If you ever had pizza at a place called Mr. Gatti's in the south, this is pretty much Mr. Gatti's. It's not bad. But I can't see why I'd go back. The pizza was visually lovely! But the taste just can't keep up with better places in town. The pepperoni was the highlight, which might sound silly. But there are a lot of places with bad pepperoni. This place had the spicy stuff that curled and crisped. It was also pretty loaded. Loved it. The cheese was weird and gooey. It had the texture of daiya dairy free..but it was mozzarella. Whatever brand they are using is completely flavorless. It was a little unpleasant to eat. There was scant sauce on the pizza, but what was there tasted okay. The dough was also oddly without flavor. A good pizza dough will usually be cold risen for a day or so, to develop flavor. This dough had zero yeast flavor, and was mildly sweet. Like they made it that morning and super-charged the yeast with sugar to get it working faster. It looked great. Just didn't taste great. If I was in a local hotel, and needed a quick pie on a business trip..or something to feed a bunch of kids who aren't picky, I'd eat here again. But there are much better pizza options in town. The people working here were super, super nice which took it to three stars.

I ordered cheese garlic bread and cheese pasta with white sauce. The garlic bread was good but the pasta was not edible. It was mixed with curry and olives. I sent an email but didn't receive a response and it's been almost a week. The whole thing went in the trash. What a waste of money.

By far, the best desi pizza in the East Bay, no doubt. We have tried almost every pizza joint and this comes on top. Their menu has almost too many items :) Crust: very good Sauce: flavorful Toppings: good, not generous though Location: away from the mainstream, but not too distant Service: on-time, staff kind of dry (maybe shy/introvert) This is primarily a take-out place. We will definitely order again.

Just went here with a couple of friends. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, and the lady at the counter got it to us super quickly. We devoured the piping hot pizza super quickly in the seating outside. There was plenty of shade, making it feel very comfortable even though it was 90 degrees out. Overall an amazing experience, and she even gave us 3 free containers of ice cream. Would recommend to anyone who wants pizza and a great time with friends or family!

    An absolute favorite!

The food is good, the beer selection as awesome and the atmosphere is super casual and fun. It can get a little noisy at times, but there's plenty of outdoor seating for more quiet. What I like best about it is that it really feels like you're going to a place that treats its employees and its customers like family. I'm not a big reviewer, but I felt compelled to share my last experience with Porky's. After ordering, I stopped by the ladies room before going to get a beer. One of the stalls was out of toilet paper and all I could think about was that Seinfeld episode. Wanting to help someone avoid an embarrassing situation, I went to the counter to let them know. The person I tried to tell was kind of rude and waved me off. It was really weird because every other interaction I've ever had with employees there is best described as hospitality instead of just service. I was going to shrug it off. Everyone has off nights, but it was just so out of character for this place I felt I had to say something. I submitted an online comment via their website and figured that was that. Two days later, I got a phone call from Patsy. She was appreciative that I brought it up, asked for more details and promised a follow up. A few days after that, I got a very nice handwritten card from her letting me know they had worked with the employee, who was sorry and was just having an off day. My own mother doesn't send me handwritten cards anymore. I was never going to write the place off after a single incident, but this kind of care for people means I will always keep this place in rotation when the "what do you want for dinner?" Question comes up.

The crust is fluffy inside and crunchy on the outside. I've been a few times with my toddlers and the service was good. We got cups of water for them in plastic cups with lids and a straw without asking. The server asked us if it was alright to provide the kids with a scratch-off activity which I thought was nice. I've been a customer for likely a decade & that says a lot for me. Especially after I ordered dinner a few months postpartum, with my two hour feeding/expressing schedule for multiples. Needless to say I was starving. I drove over about ten minutes after the 35 minute wait time to ensure I can be in and out quickly. I was divested to learn my order was not made. I got a discount for next time which I thought was okay but honestly it was terrible. If you ever have multiple newborns or hungry kids at home you'd get it; I was not up for telling my story so I did not. I wouldn't expect anything different anyway. So I wanted to still see what it tasted like so I spooned it up and tasted it only to spit it out into a napkin and went and rinsed my mouth out. So disgusting and greasy it should have been served in a bowl as soup not anything like pizza should be. We called to talk to the manager 5 times and it just so happens he was never there and never called us back to discuss the issue. So I guess ripping people off is standard for this place if you read all the reviews and if you are smart you will if you are thinking about eating there. We finally just wrote it off figuring they must really need the money to treat people so bad and serve such dog food. This is a small town pizza shop and I do not even want to address it as one but for the review I will. If you are thinking of doing business there first read the reviews and remember you will not be compensated for horrible food. I will let everyone thinking about eating at this place know not to waste your time or money and if you do you deserve what you get. With the Blanca, definitely squeeze the lemon wedge over the pizza before devouring! The cheese pizza was a hit with our nephew. We could've ordered another Blanca instead of the special. There were large chunks of bell peppers and onions under the red sauce that could've been sliced thinner. We had this boxed with over half remaining. In addition to the pizzas, we also added roasted cauliflower, wings, and the meatballs. Both their Buffalo and BBQ wings were fully sauced. Maybe instead of their ranch, will consider asking for more of the applicable sauce. Meatballs were drowned in what appeared and tasted like the same red sauce in the special pizza.. Which now makes sense because both have Zachary in their menu name. These were also boxed up. Roasted cauliflower was well seasoned and a good balance between all the red sauce. Our original server clocked out and a new server took over- that's the story the gentleman/new server shared with us. Awkward. Even at Olive Garden, the server has taken the initiative to tell us of a server change.
