Stopped by after the driving range. Was really craving a pepperoni pizza. They have a pizza called "pepperoni paradise". Was not bad, however, I don't think I like lemon pepper on my pizza. More of a personal preference than a bash on the pizza itself. Place looks like a great spot for a Friday or Saturday night get together. A ton of TV's and beer selections. I dined in and was the only one there. No one stopped by while I was there but based on the reviews and photos, place seems like it can get busy. Wonder if they air any UFC fights. We love Parktown Pizza! Our favorite is their meat lovers cauliflower crust pizza--it's absolutely delicious. We usually order it through DoorDash, but having it fresh out of the oven in the restaurant is even better. It's great that we can still enjoy pizza while staying on the healthier side with the cauliflower crust. The gentleman helping us was very professional and attentive, which made the experience even better. The facility was nice and clean, including the restrooms. There also was no volume on for any of the games that were playing on the TVs so the vibe was suuuper mellow. Parktown is super spacious and has a bar had plenty of options for beer. They have screens everywhere showing the games for the day, and somehow this spot is still very empty on a Friday night. The food was decent and comes out quickly. We got a large pizza, and the American sampler. It is tough to think that they can cook all that so quickly so there may be a question of what is fresh vs what's been sitting. For sure the chicken wings have been sitting as those were soggy and slimy. They can be passed on. The tiki masala pizza was good, and the pineapple blast pizza was okay. I don't know think the prices are worth it here. A large pizza is $40 and the american sampler is $30. In my opinion, both are a bit overpriced. We ran into some issues with the cashier. I was told I wasn't able to use the Yelp Check In coupon of $5 off because it only works for online orders (but how does someone use it for online orders?). Our cashier also tried to up charge us on a few items like breadsticks and extra toppings. Good thing we caught those before we paid. So, I love Indian Pizza! We were greeted by Mike and he is so friendly. He recommended the Butter Chicken Pizza after asking us what we normally eat and what spice level we are comfortable with. He chose correct. We loved the pizza. It's a thin crust, lots of chicken and a little spicy. We also got some chicken wings that were fully cooked and seasoned really well. Everything came out hot which was good cause we had cold beer to wash it down. The beer selection is fantastic. We plan to go there to watch some games cause the entire place is covered in tv screens. Also plan to do some work happy hours there as there is so much space and a great outdoor patio. Pizzas are great but that's not what leaves a bad taste in the mouth. There is almost no service. Had a work dinner for half a dozen people but there was no one to serve. Guy at the counter had no menu but directed us to a QR code. No willingness to earn revenue. Door up front says "no cash accepted" which is in itself a problem because cash is a legal tender and then suddenly they add a 3% to your bill as a credit card surcharge. This is really unprofessional. Ambiance is great with at least 13 TVs all around the 1500 sq ft restaurant. Better to get to-go or delivery. read more

This place is an absolute must try for something different than the usual pepperoni and sausage. I got the spicy butter chicken and the gladiator, which was equivalent to a meat lover's. Spicy butter chicken- This was actually spicy! I didn't expect the pizza to have as much as a kick than I thought it would so it took me by surprise. The butter chicken was flavored extremely well with butter curry and several other spices. Jalapenos, red onions, cilantro all topped the pizza off. Absolutely delicious. Gladiator- This was actually as if I had a battle as a gladiator trying to finish this pizza. It was loaded with tons of meat ranging from pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and salami. The thin crust is crispy and different, I wonder if it is cauliflower crust, I loved it. The pizza is not too heavy on cheese, but has great taste. If you don't like spicy food, their butter chicken pizza would be a good choice I believe. Another thing I liked which I haven't tried elsewhere is the curry bread. Clean, but pretty poor service. I got a tandoori chicken pizza but it tasted really cheesy. After a couple bites i started squishing the chicken pieces and they just smashed like dough. I brought the pizza up front and said they must have made a paneer one by mistake and the guy was insistent this was incorrect, even as I smushed the pieces in front of him. First the pros; This place has potential. It's in a great location and has a spacious dinning area decorated in an uptown-urban-styled theme. There is a good mix of table-height, counter-height, and bar seating. They had so many TVs lined-up end-to-end around the dining room, it almost seemed like too much. They had so many beers taps, that not all the taps were in use, but still had a large selection of beers available. Now the cons; Because of our work hours, my friends and I needed a spot that opened up earlier than most other places. They advertise a 10:00am opening time and we arrived at about 10:15am. All the lights and TVs were off, but I could see there were people inside so I knew they were open. When we went inside, it was clear the air conditioner was still off because it was very muggy inside (this was the middle of summer and already +80° at 10am in the morning) and it smelled of Indian spices. I am more of a conventional pizza fan, so the smell combined with the muggy-ness was off-putting. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and some drinks. I was disappointed that they didn't have a soda fountain. They only offered a very limited selection of 20oz bottles of soda. My friends asked for ice water. They were directed to a large punch dispenser in the dining area which was filled about half-way with room-temperature water. At no time during our visit did they attempt to change the water in the dispenser, or even offer ice to my friends. We waited longer than expected (given the fact that we were their only customers). I'm guessing they still hadn't fired-up the ovens yet. When we finally got our pizza, it was mediocre at best. There was way too much cheese on it; so much that not all of it completely melted. The pizza wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. I think that maybe if they didn't have a late start to their early opening, I would have enjoyed the place. But what it all boils down to is, how good is the pizza? In this case, it's not good enough to make me want to come back. I will not be going back to Parktown Pizza Company. read more

Tip: You can order 2 flavors (half/half) for large-sized pizzas, which I highly recommend. I knocked one star off because of the prices. Though I think it is worth the cost because it's hard to find tasty gluten-free pizza joints, it hurts my wallet to pay over $80 for 2 pizzas and water! We didn't get any appetizers, drinks or sides. What a disappointment. Went with my parents because my brother loves this place. Completely empty, even for a weekday afternoon, very obvious sign of a poor establishment that we chose to overlook due to my brother's love of this place. We ordered the Indian Sampler and a large pizza, half lamb and half butter chicken on cauliflower crust. Absurdly overpriced for just two items. We received a thin crust pizza with half lamb and half paneer, whether this was due to a mistake in the kitchen or the man taking our order, I'm not sure. When we called to let them know that the pizza was wrong, we had to ask for a refund instead of being offered one. Later when we went back to pick up the new pizza, the man insisted that the original pizza was chicken without even checking. He simply left the new pizza on the table dismissively without so much as a simple apology. Regarding the sampler, the wings were flavorless and soggy. Samosas were fine, but nothing exciting or particularly interesting about them. Certainly will not be coming back. read more

I love that they use recyclable earth friendly plate materials. This was my bfs first time here ever and he absolutely LOVED it! The Lamb Kabob pizza is deliciously amazing! It features a super light, crispy bread with light mouthwatering juicy cheese + sauce, purple onions, plus lamb kabobs meatballs decorated throughout, and a green spicy drizzled sauce. Wow! Does this pack a punch. lol. Ever since I've been introduced to spicy Indian pizza I haven't been able to go back to plain pepperoni pizza. lol. Although I will say the green sauce is bit TOO SPICY for me! lol. Next time we will ask for light sauce on one side for me. My bf LOVES spicy and he was sooo impressed with the taste, flavor, and quality of everything! The Masala fries come with ranch but I honestly wish they had more sauce options like chipotle or even ketchup! lol. We paid about $70 for a medium pizza and bowl of fries + a bottle water and bottle of Diet Coke and a $3 tip. I had no idea it was so expensive until my bf asked what he should tip and I saw the total. I was literally like "WHOA" lol. I'd like to think that you pay extra for the HIGH QUALITY addition of toppings and so many delicious ingredients. It DOES however make sense that something with high quality added ingredients would be a lot more pricey than a classic cheese or pepperoni pizza tbh! BUT it doesn't make it feasible to visit quite often when you can get a normal medium pizza + fries for about $30-$40 or less at some place more plain/basic. So this definitely will be an occasional place to stop by and not a regular spot to visit for us for their reason unfortunately. But heyyy! ***COOL TIP*** I just noticed they have a Yelp coupon to save $4/$5 on orders over $40 so keep that in mind to mention if you do visit! Parktown....what happened??? We had a fantastic elite event here, I highly recommended the place to colleagues. We went to check it out a couple weekends ago...football game was on. 1. Got there around 2pm....no one inside to greet us....but there was a like a soccer team of some sort. 2. Sat at the bar , all TV screens on but NO SOUND to hear anything. 3. No staff available to attend to us...again! My colleagues were not happy, we had to leave and have our late lunch elsewhere. I was so embarrassed. Not sure why no volume on the TV especially on weekend afternoon when sports is going on. Not sure how this place is trying to market itself....but it isn't going to bring any kind of foot traffic to a supposedly full bar with tv screens all over.....People can be hanging out watching sports with drinks...but it was so dead. For the butter chicken pizza itself, amazing! So delicious. There is no tomato sauce, the crust is thin but crunchy. There's a generous amount of butter chicken with every bite and the cilantro on top just gives it a nice kick. I would say for $40, this was a delicious delicacy to try. Five reasons why you shouldn't go here: First and foremost, I walked to the front door and the sign says "no cash accepted." Well, they charge you a 3% fee for using a credit card. Secondly, this place was completely dead during Monday Night Football. With all the TVs they have, you would think they would have the football game on but nope...I had to ask the only employee there to turn one of the channels to the football game. Third, almost every beer I tried tasted flat and/or watery. Someone needs to figure out their taps...somethings up with their CO2 or everything is just old because the lack of business. Fourth, the garlic masala and achar wings were unbearably spicy and soggy. The wings were definitely not enjoyable and I didn't finish them. The wings were supposed to be well done but they weren't. Fifth, the pizza was just okay...nothing special. I've had better Indian pizza elsewhere. Overall, this place isn't worth the hype. Quality of food is below average and everything is overpriced.
