Had the chance to try out this place thx to the tri-valley food event and I must say I'm pretty impressed with their pizzas. The cashier/pizza maker was very polite and easy going..I was fairly surprised they offered to add some basil to my cheese pizza. And overall their pepperoni was pretty good overall too. In terms of flavor and taste both are very good, their pepperoni I honestly don't order very often if at all these days..but it was a solid pizza but was a tad salty imo. As for the place itself, it's a pretty eclectically place, there is a place to sit and wait to your pizza, but if you looking for a sit down with the family..this isn't it. Overall, I sort of wish I lived closer to it but will come by if I see a coupon or special available again, I would probably try and stop by and give them more business.

For weekends, best to call in your orders by 4:30pm! The store stops online order platform when it's here busy. Be patient, an older couple runs the store from making the pizza to greeting guests, so be patient. A more to go pizza place since there's not much sitting area. Super clean interior! Called in around weekend 4:30pm and the pickup time was for 6:30pm. Order the Act 5 which is a combo pizza ($33). Sourdough crust is super delicious. Great chew, super airy dough, and sourness. Fresh ingredients for each bite. The box is also a pizza bib which is a unique design. Definitely try out this sourdough pizza!

Absolutely love this place. Such a unique and amazing pizza shop in Pleasanton. The owners are the best and they make you feel right at home. The pizzas are fantastic, full of flavor, and definitely separate themselves from the rest of the competition. The inside of the store could keep you entertained for a long time!

I have been wanting to try this place. A very small shop with a couple of table for dine in if you want. I got 3 pizzas to go. The pizzas are cooked to order so I did have to wait a little bit. I tried 2 of the 3 pizzas and both were delicious. Loved the crust. If in the area I would definitely try them again.

Very friendly owners greet you, make and bake your pizza, and let you know when they are ready.

Best pizza in the town and we accidentally ran into this place. We never go to other places for a pizza ever since.

It was alright. I was really excited to try this place because of all the hype. I haven't done a yelp review in a long time but wanted to honestly review this place that is in yelp's "top 100 places" to eat. Basically just alright. Tastes like any pizza you could get anywhere. I think Mountain Mike's is better. I was disappointed they couldn't do half white sauce half red sauce but whatever. The pizza itself was soggy. The redeeming quality was the chicken was really good and not chewy or anything. 3.5*s. Just OK. Wouldn't eat it again.

Much To Do About Pizza in Pleasanton is hands-down the BEST pizza I've ever had! Every bite is absolutely delicious - perfectly balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and crust that's baked to perfection. What makes it even more special is that the dough is fermented sourdough, which makes it not only taste incredible but also feel amazing on your tummy. You don't get that heavy, bloated feeling you usually do with pizza - it's just the best thing you can eat! On top of that, their customer service is outstanding. The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely cares about making sure every customer has a great experience. It's rare to find a place that not only makes incredible food but also makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. If you're looking for pizza that truly stands out - this is the place. Honestly, I'd say it's the best pizza in the world. Pleasanton is lucky to have this gem!

Much Ado About Pizza only does takeout from my experience. Establishment itself is clean, small, and has a couple seats. You can either order through their website or on the phone. Be advised the wait time for pizzas can be lengthy during dinner hours, but that shouldn't stop you from getting pizza here, cause boy is it worth the wait. I've had many other pizzas here and they all taste great, however... I think I'm now a rectangle pizza type guy because of this place. P.s. the girlfriend loves their pizza too, she craves it every now and then, so it makes deciding what to eat for dinner easy lol

Called in and the person on the phone was very friendly and let us know the wait time would be about an hour. We appreciated that as we don't mind waiting but it's good to know a time in case we didn't want to wait. We got cheesy bread and pepperoni pizza. The cheesy bread was crunchy but soft and gooey and the hot honey went great with it and on the pizza. The pizza was a bit small and had way too much pepperoni for my boyfriend I love all the pepperoni but was so flavorful. As someone who can't have too much red sauce I didn't mind it being super sauce heavy like every other pizza. Great flavor and texture. We were greeted when we walked in and provided an update on our order. We will deff be back

My favorite little pizza spot in the Tri-valley! (Not a dine-in restaurant, call your order in and take out) I discovered them at a Sips and Slice event that featured wine pairings with some of their specialty pizzas. I was impressed by the quality and loved that they are family owned by very nice people. So since then, I've been spreading the word far and wide to friends and family about them yet somehow dropped the ball on my review. While I patiently wait for the vegan cheese to be brought to the menu, I absolutely love all of the vegetarian options at Much Ado. Kira is a vegetarian so she knows how to make the veggies shine! The Tempest and The Quatrain being my favorites. Don't sleep on the bard bread or the epic dips :)

Do you sell beer or wine?

    Sorry,no we do not.

Have any vegan cheese? If so, what kind do you use? The best is the Miyokos liquid mozzarella in case you Heinrich serve it and have plans to offer it in the future

How big are these pizzas? The look like they're 8" but the price is $23, so I think I am not seeing them correctly. What size are they?…

They are 14 inch rounds and should easily feed 2-3 people. We also have a "Marlowe style" which is approximately 13 x 9 and thicker (like focaccia) but is again designed to feed 2-3 people. I hope this helps.

Do you happen to offer gluten free crust? I have celiac but love pizza. Some pizza places order gf crust from the outside and then put their toppings. Mountain Mikes does this and it's really good. Wondering if you'd be willing to do the same.

As of now they do not.

The front host staff was friendly though which was nice. The restaurant itself was freezing inside! My wife politely asked our waiter if they could reduce the AC level and the waiter kind of said he'd look into it but nothing came of that/he ignored it. It was literally freezing in there and I was wearing a jacket! Not a comfortable experience. The Penne alla vodka pasta was pretty mid. They for some reason served it on a wide plate which made it cool a lot faster. It was at no point "hot." The pasta itself was cooked well enough, but the sauce and cheese was nothing special, pretty basic. The salad was also mid. The beets seemed like they were canned and the salad was pretty drenched in a basic dressing. The pizzas overall were better than the salad and pastas, although the Diavola pizza's meat was too acidic and bitter. The pizza Amalfi was a better pizza, had a good balance. Overall, this place wasn't anything special food-wise and the fact that the restaurant was so cold and our waiter was not super friendly just turned us off even more.

The crust is fluffy inside and crunchy on the outside. I've been a few times with my toddlers and the service was good. We got cups of water for them in plastic cups with lids and a straw without asking. The server asked us if it was alright to provide the kids with a scratch-off activity which I thought was nice. I've been a customer for likely a decade & that says a lot for me. Especially after I ordered dinner a few months postpartum, with my two hour feeding/expressing schedule for multiples. Needless to say I was starving. I drove over about ten minutes after the 35 minute wait time to ensure I can be in and out quickly. I was divested to learn my order was not made. I got a discount for next time which I thought was okay but honestly it was terrible. If you ever have multiple newborns or hungry kids at home you'd get it; I was not up for telling my story so I did not. I wouldn't expect anything different anyway. So I wanted to still see what it tasted like so I spooned it up and tasted it only to spit it out into a napkin and went and rinsed my mouth out. So disgusting and greasy it should have been served in a bowl as soup not anything like pizza should be. We called to talk to the manager 5 times and it just so happens he was never there and never called us back to discuss the issue. So I guess ripping people off is standard for this place if you read all the reviews and if you are smart you will if you are thinking about eating there. We finally just wrote it off figuring they must really need the money to treat people so bad and serve such dog food. This is a small town pizza shop and I do not even want to address it as one but for the review I will. If you are thinking of doing business there first read the reviews and remember you will not be compensated for horrible food. I will let everyone thinking about eating at this place know not to waste your time or money and if you do you deserve what you get. To the owner , sell the place to someone who knows how to make pizza and treat's customers with respect!!! There were large chunks of bell peppers and onions under the red sauce that could've been sliced thinner. We had this boxed with over half remaining. In addition to the pizzas, we also added roasted cauliflower, wings, and the meatballs. Both their Buffalo and BBQ wings were fully sauced. Maybe instead of their ranch, will consider asking for more of the applicable sauce. Meatballs were drowned in what appeared and tasted like the same red sauce in the special pizza.. Which now makes sense because both have Zachary in their menu name. These were also boxed up. Roasted cauliflower was well seasoned and a good balance between all the red sauce. Our original server clocked out and a new server took over- that's the story the gentleman/new server shared with us. Awkward. Even at Olive Garden, the server has taken the initiative to tell us of a server change.
