Went here for lunch and was surprised at the flavor explosion. It looks like they have standard pies, but we split a half Lamb and half Achari Chicken and were super impressed. We had two great experiences here. Then, a friend who gave me a gift certificate, bought from their website. When I went in, a different fellow from the one we raved about on Yelp said the gift certificate was only good on Sundays in Pleasanton. That was not printed on the certificate but an expiration date was and it was only a few weeks away. California does not allow gift certificates to expire. Their pizza is great. I have tried a number of their Indian specialty pizzas and all are quite tasty. My go to faves is their buffalo chicken and the spicy garden delight. Buffalo chicken isn't an "Indian" pizza but a good alternative. Today I decided to eat inside and try an American style pizza- sausage, olive, and mushrooms. Omg, it did NOT disappoint!! Loaded with sausages, fresh tasting ingredients, and no oily puddles. I was also introduced to their signature spicy ranch dressing! Wow! Better than the average ranch dressing. What's South Asian pizza? It's freakin' delicious, that's what it is! I'll admit we were unsure going in what we were going to think. Would it be a hot mess of conflicting flavors? But we took a chance and were incredibly impressed and blown away. First of all, let's address the elephant in the room: cost. We spent over $60 on two large pizzas. I'll be the first to admit it's not your every day (or even every week) pizza. But when you factor in the quality of the ingredients, the quantity of chicken and other toppings and spices we got on each pizza, and the time involved in prepping ingredients and assembling/cooking, you can see where the price comes from. And what an amazing outcome all those ingredients and time produce! We couldn't decide on just one specialty pizza (there's so much from which to choose) so I selected the Chicken Curry pizza (Regular Crust, Cheese, Spicy Curry Sauce, Fresh Cilantro, Bell Pepper, Red Onion, Diced Tomatoes, Green Onion, Curry Chicken) and the keto hubby got the namesake Tandoori Pizza (Cheese, Creamy Garlic Sauce, Fresh Cilantro, Tandoori Chicken, Bell Pepper, Red Onion, Diced Tomatoes, Fresh Basil, Green Onion, Califlower Crust). I'm so glad we did order both because while they may sound somewhat similar ingredient-wise, the flavors were vastly different. The cauliflower crust Tandoori Chicken had a creamy garlic sauce base for the perfectly roasted and warmly spiced tandoori chicken. The cheeses and veggies perfectly complimented the chicken and the finishing shredded cilantro and green onions were exquisite. My Curry Chicken had similar use of veggies and finishing touches, but the spicy and fragrant curry spices blew me away. My mouth felt like I was eating a plate of curry chicken with warm, freshly-baked buttery nan. The crusts on both pizzas were not afterthoughts either... they were freshly made, well baked, tasty, and you could pick up each slice without any structural failure or sogginess. We were both so satisfied and amazed by how perfectly everything worked together. And if this review still leaves you unsure, rest assured that Tandoori Pizza still offers conventional Italian-style combinations as well as the option to build your own pizza. For us, we are now converts to Tandoori Pizza and plan to make this a more regular addition to our pizza take out! read more

Ordered 3 pizzas and some wings online. Everything was fresh, hot, and ready at pickup time. Perfect! The pizzas were all delicious. I got the tikka, tandoori, and chili paneer. No complaints. The wings were a bit spicy but in a good way. They were very tasty with a tandoori flavor and they were also very meaty. My coworkers and I visited this place yesterday, and it was my first time trying Indian pizza. We shared an XL pizza that was half chicken tikka and half butter chicken. I must say, it was absolutely delicious, and the wonderful aroma added to the experience! The only thing that could have made it better would be service with a smile. Tandoor Pizza is an Indian style pizza place that I've eaten from on numerous occasions. Located in kind of an odd shopping center that is a bit further away from the busiest area around the Livermore Outlet immediate area, it's a location you'd have to really know where to look to track down. It's next to QTea for those who are familiar with the spot, but otherwise, it's on the side of the parking lot that is not only super empty, but the reception here from a phone perspective is pretty bad, so make sure to search up the location well ahead of time. When you walk in, it's definitely a fun atmosphere as they have tons of boxes stacked up high to give a nice visual effect of their pizza cuisine. Price wise, they're about on par with most pizza places. While they're not going to be able to compete with the cheaper pizza places, they're not too much more expensive for the more specialized non-chain pizza spots. The pizza themselves are good. We would typically get the combo and the tandori chicken. The combo is probably the one that I'd like the most, and often times is the one that everybody also scarfs down in larger quantities than the other. The tandori chicken is pretty good, a bit on the dry side, but with the caveat that their spicy style foods here are indeed, really, really spicy. This isn't even meant to be spicy, but I'm always feeling some heat from eating it regardless. I haven't tried the even spicier ones, but from my family who frequents it and have tried them, they tell me it's definitely not for the weak of heart. Spicy beware. Overall, Tandoori Pizza delivers on exactly what it set out to do, deliver tandori pizza. It's kind of in a weird location, but worth the visit out if you're interested in an Indian style pizza place. Not on the cheaper side, but not super expensive since their sizes are comparable for what you get.
