This place is great! The customer service is outstanding. I dropped off my laptop because I was constantly getting a blue screen critical error. They found 48 viruses and were able to remove them all. They were in constant communication with me through the whole process. Let me start out by saying I used these folks several times because they had a high BBB rating and are on Tom Martino's trouble shooter list. Initially I was somewhat satisfied but in the end, they have left a very bad taste in my mouth. The woman who answers the phone and sits out front borders on rude. It is impossible to actually talk to a tech. I first brought my PC in because it had a virus. It was fixed, my data was saved. 3-day turnaround but all good. Within 6 months I had another virus even though I use protection :) and went back to PC Answers. Once again they fixed everything and I asked if there was anything else I could do to avoid this in the future. Since all I could do was talk to Rude Lady in the front, I received no PC Answer to my question. Within 3 months another virus. (Mind you I am a basic user, do not social network etc.) Once again they fixed it and once again I asked what I could do to avoid it. Did I need to buy software? Was it time for a new PC. Just tell me please. No advice. Within 4 days my PC was slowing down again ... the first sign that I was infected and eventually would blow up. I called up and told Rude Lady that I was concerned because it appeared that I was infected, to which she replied, "What did you do?" WTF? I went to Office Depot in Stapleton where they were wonderful and helpful and DID have answers for my PC, unlike PC Answers. Don't go here unless you like abuse. read more

We caught a virus that we couldn't cure.-- and not the Ahchoo kind Funny we thought we had the best protection out there, and we still got a nasty Trojan that absolutely shut down one of our laptops -- anyone else find that ironic. Not knowing anyone in the biz, we went with PC Answers who by chance had a 1/2 price Virus Removal Offer right on Yelp. Note to Companies: Yes Couponing works -- we're perfect examples. They successfully removed the Trojan, at what I think was a good price -- best part is now we know where to go for Computer Maintenance. I am self-employed and my desktop computer is my work horse. Then it stopped booting three days ago. Oyyy... I brought it in to PC Answers twice, and twice the senior technician, Donyo Turner, worked on it and got it to boot at the repair store--I witnessed this! I don't know what those other reviewers are saying, this place is great. I didn't know what the problem was with my computer so I brought it to Best Buy who said the hard drive was dead - to the tune of $400 they could fix it. Then I listened to Martino and went with these guys. The hard drive was pretty beat up but they put in a new hard drive and "cloned" my old one. So I basically got my computer back with a new (faster, bigger) hard drive for considerably less than half the price. I took advantage of their Free System Analysis. They told me about an hour after I left what the problem was. They did have some doubt the clone would work and told me all about what happens if it didn't come together that way. I lucked out in that it worked. If it hadn't then they weren't going to charge me for trying. To me, it was a win-win. Either way it would have cost considerable less than the competitors. They had my computer for 2 business days (3 days if you include Sunday). Best Buy wanted it for a week and Microcenter had an eight day wait before they would have even looked at it. The lady at the front was great - very personable. I only bring it up because I saw another reviewer state she was rude. I had a lot of questions about trojans, viruses, why my hard drive had issues, etc. The technician came out to answer all my questions. He explained that computers are a little like cars where he can make the car/computer safer but even the safest car isn't immune to being in a car accident (or attacked by a virus for computers) - and even the best car is going to need maintenance. It's strange how I just expected my old computer to just work forever without maintenance. It's obvious that this company knows a ton about computers. They're inexpensive. They're honest. They called me when they had questions and the communication overall was exceedingly good. I definitely recommend this company. read more

Got a nightmare virus on my computer. This computer is the center of my business. I called at 4:30 in the afternoon and PC Answers was able to get me in at 9:30 following morning. They had the computer ready for me that afternoon so I could finish out my work day. The virus removal was complete but a few days later my Outlook kept freezing up. I tried everything but couldn't get my email. Again I was desperate because all of my business is done through my computer. I called at 5:00 pm again explaining that I could not do without my computer. They offered to send someone to my office first thing in the morning. Turns out while my computer was infected my email was sent out to the entire internet and I was receiving thousands of spam emails which were tying up Outlook. Started my computer up one morning and I had nothing but a black screen. Took it by the Geek guys and they said they would have to send it out and it might be $250! Okay I see 5 stars & for the life of me can't figure out how, maybe a new staff? I took my lap top in a couple weeks ago because it was overheating & the space bar wasn't working properly, I was told they would call me before any repairs were done but I never received a call until I got the call that the computer was done, it was $75.00 I thought okay well at least it will be fixed, wrong again! I go in & I am told they ran a stress test & computer wasn't running hot but they blew it out & my keyboard was fine I just needed to "pound" on it, I had to get to work so I decided it just wasn't worth the fight maybe it would run better & I was just overthinking the whole situation, so I take it home and attempt to do stuff on it the overheating is even worse, not only is bottom hot but keyboard is getting hot as well after 20 minutes the computer shuts itself down, I decide to take it somewhere else & get a second opinion, I take it to Geek street computers in Englewood they call me the next day they have a video they took while cleaning out my computer huge dust bunnies are being blown out of my computer if PC answers blew out my computer as they said they did there is no way that amount of dust built up in a matter of 2 days, they also needed to reassemble my space bar and I had 3 screws missing 1 belonging to my hard drive! Are you kidding me? How did this company get a BBB rating? how often do they review for this rating? one star is too much for this review, if anyone is looking for honest, dependable, reasonable computer work done don't waste your time here go to Geek street it is less than 10 minutes away! read more
