This place is awesome. We caught a virus. None of our stuff would stop in. Our Norton was up to date, we'd done all the updates, we thought we were protected. We tried out a competitor but they said they had to wipe the whole system. We had lots of pictures that needed to be saved so we walked away. Then we were told about PC Answers. We'd heard them on Tom Martino's show but PC Answers had a small shop. I don't know why I thought a big shop would be better than a little shop. We were told it would take a day before it would get on their "bench" and another day to fix it all up. The next day they called to ask us a question that was specific to our computer. We answered and I asked if it would still be ready the next day. The guy told me he expects to have it done at 3:00 that day. We picked up the computer (less than 24 hours of dropping it off). I asked to talk to the technician so I could do better with it in the future. He answered every question I had. He even stated I could get Norton for free... I've been paying $50 and $60 a year for no reason! We took it home and it ran like brand new. They do a "tune-up" and remove junky programs that slow down the computer. My Hewlett Packard computer ran so much faster. They put some links on the computer and I called to ask them about it. I talked to Marc who is their top technician. He explained the links in a way I could understand and I asked him more about the computer. I asked him all kinds of things that weren't even related to the service. I have this one genealogy program and I asked him a question that he didn't know the answer to. So he wrote down my contact information, found the answer, and called back. How often do you find a smart guy who is able to say "I don't know?" That just showed me a level of honesty that's missing from that (and presumably other) computer shops. I really recommend this company. Everyone was nice. I found out from the technician and from doing my own research that viruses are growing exponentially. So we're all going to get viruses more and more frequently, even if you're protected. I'm glad I have this company to fix me up! read more

I could not be happier with my experience with PC Answers!! I started by asking for a quote from here on Yelp and the Owner, Michael contacted me pretty much immediately with the diagnostics fee and my options about whether to drop it off in store or have them come to my home. He was so nice in the email! I decided to bring it in late on Monday and one of the Technician, Donyo Turner was there. I explained to him what was wrong and he told me right then and there he thought it might be the hard drive. He took mine out and tested it and sure enough my hard drive was failing. He then took the time to go over my options with me (everything that we could do to get it fixed but still save a little money) and we decided on the game plan. The whole exchange took 15 minutes tops which is so crazy because I have been to other places that took a whole day to diagnose the problem. Donyo was so great, he explained things without talking down to me (as other places have that start with "G" and end in "eek Squad") and made me feel very confident when I dropped off my computer. I picked up my computer around 12 the next day after getting a text from Donyo that everything was finished. (Isn't that cool? I absolutely loathe making phone calls so it was nice that I got the option of texting). When I picked it up Donyo went over everything that they did, handed me my old drive just in case because their system only keeps your data for 30 days in the event that they have to do more work (and frankly that kind of honesty is super nice to encounter). Mary was also super sweet at the front when I had to pay and get my receipts. She introduced herself to my sister and I and was so friendly! They didn't even have my computer for a whole day and it was up and running again. Thank you so much for fixing my laptop! And for being cheaper than the big businesses! For 3 decades, a Profoundly Resourceful PC Guy babied me through all the ups-and-downs of the digital age. And when he died last year, I didn't even try to replace him. But then. My laptop began making a very bad noise. Where oh where to turn? I carefully read every possible PC repair website in Denver Metro. Then I scoured them again. My mac mini was running as slow as molasses. I also had issues with my ipad, and my and my wife's iphones. Had problems with my printer, photos, calendar and microsoft word for mac. I thought about using the Geek Squad, yet my neighbor has used them for his computers about once a month and was not pleased with the results and having to have them come back several times before finally fixing the problems. Michael came to my house on time, was polite, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He was able to update my mac mini to an extent that was even faster and better than buying a brand new computer. He took my mac to his shop and installed all of the new hardware and came back the very next morning. While here he quickly took care of all of the problems with our ipads and iphones. I went in with an external back up drive that had failed. I had been avoiding taking it anywhere because I was afraid the data wouldn't be recoverable. Michael asked if he could look at it really quick. He took it in the back while I filled out a form. He came back with it open and my stomach turned then all of a sudden he said everything is fine. It had become disconnected from the connection cord. I probably dropped it. He said it just needed to be plugged back in, he ran a quick diagnostic and the drive was fine. I looked quickly and all the data appeared to be there. I started crying. My partner had passed and I had pictures on there that couldn't be replaced. I was so happy. Michael is extremely knowledgeable and was also an excellent communicator of: 1. what needed to be done to update and repair my laptop; as well as 2. managing the timing expectations. I just recently found out my computer had not been updating as it should have been and it wasnt downloading for me manually. I called P.C. answers and talked to Donyo and told him what I had found and he asked me to bring it over. If when reading this you havent figured out that Donyo and P.C. I recently had an issue with my laptop after returning from a trip where I think logging into a hotels wifi caused my computer to crash. I needed a laptop with touch screen capabilities and one that was much faster processing than the one that was ready for retirement. Another must was the screen size and memory.
