This is my original review followed by updates every two weeks for the Hermitage, TN store, and it…read morewill continue to be updated on Google maps as well as other review sites going forward. I recently had a highly disappointing experience with the the UbreakIfix Franchise store in Hermitage, which I feel compelled to share. Initially, I took my iPad Pro in for a charging port replacement. However, during the repair process, the screen was broken. When I returned to the store, I was informed that fixing the screen would cost an additional $549, and the charging port still had not been replaced. From my perspective, this situation reflects a lack of professionalism and accountability. I declined any further service and retrieved my iPad without any repairs completed. Given the circumstances, I am not confident in the store's ability to perform the repairs correctly. I am now forced to take my iPad elsewhere and bear the cost of a screen repair for damage I did not cause. Updates Update: 7/13/24 Unfortunately, there is still no resolution. Earlier this week, I brought my iPad Pro to the UbreakiFix store in downtown Nashville because it seems that the Hermitage franchise is uninterested in serving our community responsibly. The Nashville store, which is not a franchise, intends to contact the Hermitage location to discuss covering some of the screen repair costs. Their words were, "They should cover some of the cost." I hope they step up as responsible business owners, but I will continue to update this review to ensure transparency. Update: 7/1/24 Regrettably, there is still no resolution. This review will continue to be updated every two weeks to provide a clear view of how this store appears to neglect its responsibilities to the community and its patrons. Update: 6/17/24 So far, the only response I have received is a standard, canned reply from the store, which does not address my concerns. They have my phone number yet the franchisee has not called to seek a resolution. This lack of genuine engagement seems indicative of their approach to customer service.

I found myself with a shattered screen iPhone and an unhappy wife. A quick search gave uBreakiFix…read moreas an option, and the reviews were excellent. I called in, afraid I'd have trouble scheduling or hassled about unnecessary services or hidden up-charges. Nope, on the second ring my call was taken by the business owner, who quoted a price that was cheaper than I expected and told me that I could come right then - she would put the replacement parts aside with my name on them. I came right over. I saw the parts kit with my name on it. I had a pleasant conversation with the owner and the employee at the front desk. I was promised it would be done in an hour. I was notified it was done in 40 minutes. My final price was CHEAPER than quoted, how often does that happen? I decided to buy a new case, to protect the new screen. I was shown options and assisted in installing the new tempered glass and case, which was priced as a bundle, saving me money. I didn't know about the bundle sale, and I could have been charged the full amount, but nope, I was informed about the sale and charged the sale price. I walked out very satisfied. Folks, if every business was run like this one, the world would be a beautiful place. I can't express exactly how easy, fast and just all around pleasant this transaction was. I haven't written that many reviews, but I had to write this one. Take your device here, period.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOUR IPHONE SCREEN SHATTERED & VERIZON INSURANCE IS PAYING FOR THE REPLACEMENT…read more Ok, a few important things to note: 1 - First thing is first, I do not recommend this business. Verizon said they were contracted with our "insurance plan" through Verizon to fix the screen for $50. 2 - We drove up from the Franklin area on a Saturday, it's pretty congested and parking wasn't easy, make sure you plan some extra time for this. 3 - We came back to pick up the phone with it's new screen and it looked good. The "ghosting" where apps would open on their own, or calls would be made on their own, etc. (neither of which were happening with the shattered screen) slowly got worse and worse. It was bad. 4 - When we got our Verizon bill that next month, someone called 411 from our phone during the time frame that they had our phone, TWICE. So even though those calls only cost like $3 or something, it's so annoying to have to ALSO pay for that too. 5 - If you have the Verizon insurance if they offer you a refurbished phone for $100 or to get the screen fixed, if you can't get the screen fixed through Apple, then take the refurbished phone instead. You will end up a lot happier.
