He quickly drew up papers and we were in business for my move 2 days later. The/his movers surprised me by being 15 minutes early when I know this industry is notorious for being behind. They were quick, efficient and communicative throughout loading and unloading. A move they thought would take ~3 hours took barely 1.5hrs! The proposal process was SUPER easy- everything was done through email and the office person is so fast with responses! They actually had a project nearby so they scheduled a time to come over to actually take a look as the area by the stairs in our house is a bit funky but they were able to come through and make the space work and it looks nice! They give you the option of black or white and another nice feature of these gates is that they swing shut. Meaning when you open the gates to get through you don't have to close it behind you as the gate will swing shut automatically. Really smart design. Great service and product all around! Highly recommend!

Recently, on 2/2/26 to be precise, I observed a security guard at the Rancho San Diego Town Center approach their truck, which had "Above All Movers 858-483-8234" on the side of the truck, and ask the driver to move the vehicle off property. Then, out of nowhere, the driver jumped out of the truck and approached the guard in a threatening manner cussing her out. Afterwards when I spoke with the guard, she confirmed she had to call the sheriff's office for her own safety. I could hear the man shouting, threatening to sue her and the company and all sorts of nonsense. This is not a good look for this company and if I were them I would fire this employee immediately for this behavior. All in all I urge everyone to avoid them at all costs if this is how they conduct themselves.

My experience with Airborne started off on a real positive note.  The main contact, Jennifer, was…read moreresponsive to my questions and emails as we scheduled Airborne to move our office furniture to support the installation of new carpet over the weekend.  We have 4 offices, a receptions area, lobby, and conference area that was to have all of the furniture completely moved out on Friday evening and then back in early Monday morning.  This timeline was critical to minimize interruption to our business as much as possible. The movers arrived on Friday evening and were exceptional!  Ben was professional, quick and efficient.  I felt real good about our decision to use Airborne and was not concerned at all about their ability to complete the project on Monday morning as scheduled and planned. I arrived to the office Monday morning at 7:30 AM and was excited to complete this project.  I called Jennifer's cell phone when I got in to obtain an ETA for the movers.   I left a message and called again at 8:00 AM since I did not receive a call back.  This time it went direct to VM.  I called several more times, with messages left, that all went unanswered.  By 9:00 AM I still had not heard back from Jennifer and our entire office was in and ready to get their offices re-situated.  I immediately had to secure alternative movers once I came to the realization that Jennifer breeched our agreement and was not going to respond to my multiple requests for a call back. Jennifers lack of professionalism or common courtesy cost my business a half-day's worth of production.  I emailed her asking for an explanation and as of end of day Monday I have yet to receive a response via email or phone call.   I caution anyone to use Airborne that is looking for professionalism and a company to fulfill their commitments or at least answer your urgent phone calls/emails. Jennifer has proved that her management of Airborne does not come close to meeting any of those basic standards!

I hired EDI to move a small one bedroom apartment for today. I told them I needed 4 wardrobe…read moreboxes. They confirmed. But they showed up without the wardrobe boxes. I asked them to either bring wardrobe boxes to finish the move or to provide a small discount. The owner, George, refused. He said he had already given me a discount, which was not true. He then said that I either have to pay full price or he would instruct his guys to unload the truck and send his guys home. So they unloaded the truck and now I have to find a replacement. The workers were very nice and polite. I even tipped them, but I would never recommend George or EDI. In response to George's comment: First, I would appreciate it if you would edit your post and remove my city. It's not appropriate to post where I live. Second, your truck did not have racks inside. Your workers only offered two options: (1) lay my clothing down inside a cardboard box, or (2) to rig a rope from one end of the truck to the next and let my clothing hang on the rope. Nobody mentioned a speed pack, and I don't know what that is. Third, I did not insist on a discount. My first request was that you have somebody drive down and deliver the wardrobe boxes, or at least the missing pieces. You refused. I then asked for a small discount because it was going to take time and money in order for me to finish moving the rest of the items that were supposed to go inside the wardrobe boxes. Finally, it's misleading to claim that you offered me a discounted price. $125 was never mentioned. It's not listed on your website and it's not mentioned in your craigslist ad. Your first and only quote was $110.

My boyfriend decided to help them because we had a lot of stuff, it took way over the three hours, if my boyfriend had not helped them, it would've taken way longer. Missing a bunch of items, they didn't even fully unwrapped some of the furniture and left some of their moving blankets here. Tried to call and ask about the missing stuff never got a call back. My stuff is broken. My boyfriend tipped them a lot without my knowledge, and I wish he wouldn't have, but he was trying to be nice in the moment, but on further inspection, they didn't deserve it Definitely not going to use the surface again and definitely not going to recommend it to anyone, it wasn't cheap and they did a bad job.
