First, the restrooms were 9ut of rider and they placed Port-a-Potties across the parking lot for you to use.. nit a great start to a meal after visiting them. Secondly the fires were less than toom temperature when delivered with the meals. The chicken tenders were pretty good as was the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich but hardly worth the $45 dollars. I come here every Saturday religiously and im shocked to see this place has a 3/5 stars. The staff is nice and helpful the service is always very good and fast. UPDATE: After being super happy with our sandwiches, we went back to have them a second time, and we could not be more disappointed. We walked in and the entire space was empty, when I ordered, I asked for our meal to be prepared at the moment and said that I did not mind waiting. I was able to order online and skip the long drive-thru like so I advise others to do the same! I went in and the place was following social distancing guidelines so that was good. I ordered the Buffy bleu sandwich and the waffles fries, zucchini fries and Chile-Lime corn as my sides -- to share I promise! The sandwich was good but wasn't special or memorable. It just tasted like a fast food sandwich and for the price I mean, I really can't complain. The corn was my least favorite side, it just had way too much cheese it was overwhelming. The waffle fries were good but I feel like I didn't get enough in the pack. The zucchini fries were different and still tasted good! The texture is a little weird because they're mushy not like regular fries but dunk them in some sauce and they taste just as good. I was definitely looking forward to this location opening up. I had a chance to eat here for the 1st time but at their location close to 8th street. 1st time I tried their chicken I said to myself, Chik Fil A has a rivalry. However, after carefully thinking about it, Chick Fil A vs PDQ isn't a fair fight, Chik Fil A takes it. However, not here to knock PDQ just some impactful differences between the 2. For starters, the menu is very simple and to the point. You have your choice of 4 sandwiches and that's it, and they don't have a Spicy Chicken Sandwich on the menu, which is disappointing because their chicken is great. The do carry bowls which is something Chik Fil A doesn't, nor do many of the other known Chicken places such as KFC, Popeyes, Church's Chicken. They do have an assortment of milkshakes which is great, from the traditional flavors, to OREO. Chicken is limited to chicken strips, didn't see any nuggets available which also is different and limits your options. I tried their honey chicken sandwich and I have to say it's lacking some honey. It's as if it was put on with a butter knife, once, because you taste more chicken then honey. Now I'm not saying it's needs to be drenched, but you can't hold back when calling it a honey chicken and it seems as if a packet of honey was added. The side of corn, definitely not a fan. It's bland corn with chunks of cheese on it and has hardly any flavor, for a side of $3, I definitely would expect a little more than what seemed like canned corn with some decorations in it. I tried the new location and service was great through the drive thru. I have to say when dining it, it was a little disappointing. At the time of the visit there was only 1 cashier and only 1 person distributing dining in orders, and they go off your name. So if your in the bathroom and step out really quick you may have the person wandering with your food. For a new location, and small, a number system may work more efficiently, this way it's visible and your not yelling out hoping someone is heard, it's not as if the place is very quiet. Also, while prior to sitting down, no one wipes the tables down, so my wife and I did that. Food wise is great when looking at their strips and the crispy chicken sandwich, that's probably their 2 best items, and a close tie in 3rd for the fries and OREO milkshake. Hands down best chicken spot in the area. Hence the 4 star rating. read more

This new place opened on 11/8 and they've had a drive-thru line since then. Seems to move fairly quick. Drive-thru line seems organized with the proper amount of room to navigate through the parking lot. The inside is clean and there are a few people helping out so you aren't waiting too long. Soda machine is awesome, lots of choices and self-serve. Ordered the honey butter chicken sandwich and it is terrific! Definitely recommend that sandwich! The sweet potato fries were ok, a little salty (and I like salt). I have been back twice and both times were good experiences. Plenty of clean seating indoors. They have outdoor seating as well. So I have come to this location twice. I am a firm believer a business can have a bad day just like people can.. My first visit was a nightmare, I drove up to the window to order food, an employee seemed to be stocking the station so i waited and waited and waited some more. It's obvious that this place needs better management. The service is slow (sat in the drive through for 40 minutes once) and unresponsive. Worse, when you bring complaints to their attention, nothing is done about it. I've received old, dry tenders the last 3 visits and after complaining online, Rick Neira contacted me and assured me he would refund me for the inedible tenders they served me. I sent him the receipt, and he never followed up. It's time to move on from this place and their low quality overpriced product. I had been enjoying the food from this place for a while getting it through drive through. I have the great idea that my family can get it through app and I can pick it up on my way home. It wasn't so good. They did have the order by the time it was requested and they took 30 mins to gave me an incomplete order. I had to come back to get a shake they didn't include in my bag. Chick-Fil-A might have some competition with this one...especially since PDQ is open on Sundays. I had the opportunity to visit PDQ today during their grand opening. Even though it was absolutely packed (with a live salsa band included) the wait time was extremely fast. The interior is clean, and well designed. Service was absolutely impeccable. I had about 4-5 different visits from employees to ask me about my food and see if I needed anything else. I ordered the turkey sandwich (which is a seasonal special). It was delicious. The crispy exterior was packed full of thanksgiving flavors as it sat upon a layer of cranberry jam. Definitely a winner in my book. But the biggest win is their fries! Perfectly seasoned and crisp. Growing up in Chicago we do not have this fast food chain restaurant. I drove down to Coral Reef on a recommendation to check out the chicken nuggets. The drive thru was quick and I zipped back home to try the food. Spicy Chicken Nuggets - Somewhat crispy with a sweet Sriracha mayo-like dipping sauce, they were solid. Chile-Lime Corn - Much better than other fast food corn offerings. The corn had a nice splash of acidity and was not dried out. It's Friday night and we are starving, but ordering food in isn't an option tonight, so rather than a fancy meal we are heading out to pick up chicken sandwiches and wings from a new place in South Dade called PDQ. Located just west of Miami Dade Metro Zoo for the past two month since it opened people have been claiming that it's the latest and greatest so we are about to put it to the test. Arrived about 8:00pm and placed was packed as cars in drive through had a very long line so we decided to go inside for a takeout order. Inside it was decorated as you would expect any other fast food restaurant, but you do notice on walls posters detailing their story and how the focuses on quality food. There were lots of employees in an open kitchen and everyone wearing thrre mask that made us feel safer. Menu was mostly chicken and liked variety different sauces. We took meal home and was delighted to see that true to their advertizing noticed high quality standard in food and pa gong that was used. I had the zesty chicken sandwich which was remarkably delicious and I also opted for loaded waffle fries upgrade for $1.99 that was a great choice.
