    Pimento crunch
    Vanessa T.

Tried the fall special - two layers of fried turkey with cranberry sauce on a bun - and wow! You've got to get this because the breading has lots of stuffing-esque spices. The pimento crunch was also delicious. It's got pimento cheese, of course, plus bacon and chips IN the sandwich. The tenders are a great move here and they've got tons of sauces to choose from. Finally, i love that they have a sink near the counter to wash your hands, the staff is incredibly friendly and they have Coke Freestyle machines! The shakes are extra thick! A+++ I personally find it way better than Chickfila because of all the options!

    My salad

While visiting family in Pinellas County we decided to stop in and grab a bite to eat. We have seen PDQ restaurants in various places and were curious as to what they were all about. First, the initials PDQ stand for People Dedicated to Quality. It serves various dishes of chicken tenders. I consider it an upscale fast food establishment. They have a large menu in the wall to make your meal choices from then you go up to their counter and place your order. In front of the counter is various bottled drinks but they also have a drink station with sodas and teas. They even offer a flavored green tea. Near the drink station is a hand washing area which I think is a great idea! The server then brings your food to your table after you get your drinks. They identify you by the the number we were handed after placing our order at the counter. In our party of four I was the only oddball to order a salad. Everyone else choose their chicken strip meal which was fried. Portions were large and everyone said their chicken strips were very tasty and moist. Sides are a la carte. I had their Mediterranean Salad which consisted of grilled chicken strips, mixed greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, kalamata olives, pepperoncini peppers, feta cheese and a scoop of hummus. It was served with a lemon chile vinaigrette. I have to say I was impressed. It was delicious! Everything was fresh, the hummus had a good flavor- it was a nice twist to the salad. I loved the dressing it really complimented the salad well. My hubby and I ordered sides of zucchini fries. They were very tasty and they gave a a dipping sauce of our choice. I chose a sweet sriracha sauce and I thought it went well with the fries. Hubby had a ranch dip and he was very pleased with the flavor. We tried the flavored green tea with blueberry. It was a very nice change of the usual choices of sodas or plain tea with lemon. All in all it was a very good dining experience. I loved the menu choices, the drink station and hand washing station. The service was good, they were pleasant and answered our questions with patience because we were newbies. Our food was brought out promptly - hot food was hot and my salad was nice and chilled but my tenders warm. We will definitely go back and try some other locations closer to us. Unfortunately, we do not have any PDQ restaurants in our county but I'm willing to travel for that salad again!

Hair? Clothes fiber? And a fly

So I was excited to try PDQ. I opened the bag though when I got home and there was a fly. Not a huge deal. It wasn't IN the food. So I started eating my nuggets. Tasted great. The korean bbq sauce was delicious. Until I started finding little white hairs in my food. Cat hair? Or clothes fiber? Gross no thanks. So unfortunately I tossed the food. I don't think I'll be back at that location. Maybe another one will be better I hope? Soured my first experience. I might just stick to chick fil a or raising canes otherwise.

Spicy chicken sandwich and waffle fries
    Cristen S.

Great chicken chain on par with Chick fil that uses hormone free chicken. Their spicy chicken sandwich was great with a handbreaded, golden brown crust with spices in the breading ae well as a spicy, made-fresh-in-store sauce to top it off. The moist and tender chicken looked and tasted like real chicken breast and not some pounded or pressed chicken pieces that only slightly resembles chicken. The sandwich was on a nicely grilled bun and topped with butter leaf lettuce and a couple of pickle slices. Their hand-cut waffle fries were nicely fried and simply seasoned. The only negative would be that the size of sandwich is a tad small. Would like to see this chain expand West as they are right up there with Popeyes and Chick-fil-a and have surpassed the Colonel (KFC).

Visiting around 1:00 p.m. turned out to be the perfect timing; arriving just after the main lunch rush meant it wasn't overly crowded, which made for a very pleasant and relaxed experience. The customer service was exceptional--the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, and they were quick to get the food out. Everything served was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The interior of the restaurant, including the restrooms, was impeccably clean and well-maintained. Being Filipino, I'll admit to a natural fondness for the brand, but even with high standards, this branch truly stands out for its execution. Finding the restaurant is incredibly straightforward as it sits right off the main road in a shared business plaza, providing plenty of easy parking right out front. Cons: Navigating the traffic layout can be a bit tricky depending on your direction of travel. If you need to head out the opposite way on the main road, you cannot make a direct turn and instead have to navigate down the next couple of side streets to find a traffic light to safely turn around. Thumbs up / Thumbs down: Thumbs up! I highly recommend this location and will definitely be back.

We were so excited but after spending over $50 on 5 pieces of chicken, a yum burger, side spaghetti, palabok, fries and a coconut icy.... We felt it was pretty pricy for 2 adults and 2 kids. The service, was fast food centric and of course they messed up the order and forgot the icy. Oh well. My chicken was passable (I got spicy) but the regular chicken was gross and the guys refused to finish it. The yum burger tastes ultra processed (but still a step up from Whitecastle), the spaghetti was interesting with a banana sweetened ketchup sauce overtop that was slightly unique. The palabok was the most interesting, but somehow also tasted fast foodish and not "fresh". Jollibee's must taste better in other countries? This is our second time trying and every time we leave poorer, disappointed, and with a slight stomachache. Def felt less "jolly" after eating here. No thank you.
