My first time trying PDQ and it will not be the last! Can I drink the PDQ sauce with a straw, please??? I think it may be my new favorite sauce ever. I had the 3 piece chicken tenders with waffle fries and a peanut butter and banana shake. Along with the PDQ sauce, I also tried the honey mustard-it was just okay, the creamy garlic-yum, and the buffalo blue cheese, yummy! Hubby orders the spicy tenders and had to wait as they ran out, but gave him some waffle fries and a tender while he waited for some fresh tenders. When they came out, delivered to the table, they gave him a whole new order along with more fries and an extra tender for having to wait. Now that is service! The chicken was salty as was the chili lime vinaigrette. The hummus was bland. Everything though was fresh and there was a generous amount of kalamata olives, feta and peppercinos. Downgrading to 4 stars-- they're still good-- because PDQ has gotten rid of many of my favorite parts of the menu. Gone are the zucchini fries and the tater tots. Gone are the pimiento and Hawaiian and club sandwiches. Gone are the bowls. I'm sure this was all a side effect of pandemic cost reductions, but this was part of what made PDQ extra special beyond its competitors. I'm still a fan because their chicken tenders remain delicious, their fries are always good, quality is consistent, the service is friendly, and it's much faster to get through that its across the street neighbor. I was told whenever I visit Florida I had to try PDQ, so here we are! Normally I start with the cleanliness of the restaurant and the quality of service. Today I'm going to start with the food. The food was awesome! The hubs and one of the kids has the Buffalo Bleu chicken sandwich and downed it in 3 seconds flat. Fries and chicken tenders were average. The Thai Chicken bowl was really good and filling and the zucchini fries were amazing (especially dipped in the creamy garlic sauce). The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and the decor was nice. Now to the star of the show. NITA! Nita was our customer service agent, hostess with the mostess and all around awesome worker! Not only was she friendly and answered our questions (which I feel is a prerequisite for any good worker), she had a constant smile and was enthusiastic the entire time. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed someone at a restaurant this much! If you haven't been to PDQ, or even if you have, go get some! If you're lucky, maybe Nita will be working! You place your order and have a seat and someone brings your meal to your table for you. I got the crispy chicken sandwich and french fries. I love that the french fries are shoestring type fries that are nicely seasoned. The sandwich was really good, they have perfected frying the chicken so that it remains crispy on your sandwich. For beverages they have Coca-Cola freestyle machines and sweet and unsweet iced tea. The next visit I will probably try one of their salads. The salad menu looks really good. Wow! I'm so impressed with this team. What a wonderful job you all have done during our soft opening visit. Management as well! It's not easy just starting a new job but this team did it with such perfection. For being the 1st day you conquered getting food out on time, superb quality and fun vibes. Music was fun too. if anyone knows me well, you know that I know meat quality. The tenders of white breasted chicken were to my standards! Yes, we went all out with the fried chicken sandwich, tenders and zucchini fries. I can't wait to return to try bowls and salads. If I had to say a negative at all, I would have to say the zucchini fries were excellent but a little on the greasy side. We walked in and was met at the counter by a very nice Gentleman named Glenn Dove. He learned of our first visit and it happened to be my wife and I wedding anniversary. Glenn actually bought our meal and... Even brought out an old fashioned supreme strawberry shake with two straws to share on the house. My order was simple, yet nothing I received was what I ordered, AND I didn't receive my entire order. Of course, I was a drive through victim and merely glanced in the bag. The food and drink are really good and I often come to PDQ. However this location in Seminole, FL has some of the worst service and employee satisfaction that I ever experience. I ordered a grilled nugget meal with fries. Usually I always get extra sauces bc your honey mustard, ranch, buffalo bleu, and of course the PDQ sauce are some of the best fast food sauces. This lady came up to me rudely and said you can only have 2 sauces max with your meal. I mean what kind of world do you live in lady?! So then I tried using the kiosk to order the extra sauces. She never brought back the extra sauces. Whoever this lady was needs to get reevaluated because she was lowkey lazy and dosent care one single bit about her job to just give me a couple of extra sauces. Went after they had been open for a couple days. Arrived at 11:30AM and the drive through had cars lined up around the building, at least a dozen cars. We went inside and we're about 8th place waiting to order from 2 registers open. (PDQ only has 2 registers) It took about 8-10 minutes to get to the register to place our order for 2. They took one of our names and said they would call us when our order was ready for us to come pick up. We waited about 5-7 minutes before they called our name, so basically about 15 minutes from arrival to receiving our food. Pros. Chicken sandwich and tenders were very good, but I wouldn't say excellent. Tots were average, like you get anywhere. Sauces were the only thing better than average, sauces and selection were great. Cons, Even with the VERY busy crowd inside and outside, the fries were surprisingly bad, medium warm, limp and oily, like you would expect from a slow business that had fries sitting around waiting for customers. The worst part was the cashier taking our money and distributing change and handing us our drink cups while holding them from the lip of the cups. GROSS! Even if it wasn't Extreme Flu Season like it is right now which makes it worse, that is Unacceptably Unsanitary. While waiting for our food I spoke with Alex the Manager in hopes that they would address this issue. I never mentioned the fries because they were undoubtedly cooking high volumes and I assume this is just the way they serve them, maybe appealing to others. Not us. Would we return, we're not sure. Would we recommend to others, probably not. Chik-Fil-A has more than 2 registers open at peak times and we've never waited that long to order or receive food with even more customers ahead of us. Chik-Fil-A delivers our orders to our table and they give you a filled drink as soon as you place your order, unlike PDQ giving you empty cups so we could go wait in yet another line to fill our own drinks from 1 single dispenser for every customer in the restaurant. Last but not least the Chik-Fil-A comparison between the two is No comparison at all, PDQ food quality and customer experience is considerably less. read more

They have the new coke machines where you can get your own drinks which is the one thing I really liked about this location which is as ominous as it sounds. They were very busy and people must like it, but it just misses the mark in my opinion other than the salads. The staff at all PDQ s are friendly and cordial EXCEPT training is needed here for the guy busing the tables. He wiped something off the floor and THEN USED THE SAME RAG TO WIPE THE TABLE. He then put the rag in a bucket for lack of a better word and repeated the table wiping. I know this probably happens everywhere but a new location should be top notch and I can't get that image out of my mind. I won't be back. read more

This location is new and is terrible. The food is not prepared correctly and they have kept with the other places in Seminole and serve horrible food. We have to leave the area to get decent food. It was opening day, so the logistics were predictably bad. Outside, the drive through was long and slow, so we had about 20 minutes to observe about 13 crew members playing corn hole and hogging up the outdoor tables. Many of the customers had to struggle to get past the throng of teenage employees blocking the entrance holding (inexplicably) empty drink cups in their hands and mouths. It was like a high school cafeteria. That said, we had the crispy chicken sandwich and a nugget meal, and the food was very good. Might have been the best fast food chicken sandwich I ever had. And you can get tater tots, which are a guilty pleasure. The coke was very full of ice so it watered down very quickly.
