First time eating at this location, have been to others plenty of times. It was awful. All I could taste was salt in every bite. The nuggets and fries I ordered were just terrible. I've had good service before, but this place is like no other. Nita greeted us as soon as we walked in saying "Happy Monday!" With a big smile on her face. She asked us how our day was and helped us choose what we wanted to eat. When she served us our food at the table she placed a napkin down with our baskets on top of it. She came back to check on us a couple of times. The food was ready in about 5 minutes, which was nice because we have to go catch a flight. Nita definitely made this a memorable lunch because of her outstanding service. People could learn a thing or two from her because if we had more people like Nita in the world, it'd be a much better place. read more

Today my husband & I decided to try this cafe for breakfast. I had read about in the weekly Seminole Beacon new paper. We were greeted by our waitress (Mike/nickname) who was very pleasant & told us we could sit wherever we wanted to. She mentioned she had worked with previous owners. This restaurant is clean & had nice diner atmosphere. My husband ordered the Greek Island Skillet & I ordered the Stuffed French Toast with Strawberries. The servings were huge & so delicious. My first time here. I ordered the Pimento sandwich minus the chips. I loved the pimento cheese and thought the chicken was crispy, tender and juicy. However, it was a little too rich to order often. I used the drive through and liked talking to a person instead of a speaker. I was the only one in line and my order was quick and the staff was accommodating and friendly. (I asked to have the sandwich cut in half). "No problem". Most drive through's give you a plastic knife to do it yourself. I look forward to trying it again. read more

I was frustrated because it was for my daughter so I called the store and I talked to the manager Glenn. He apologize profusely and is taking care of us. Definitely the best PDQ I've been to. Service was great - management acts like they practically know you with their warm greetings. Would come here much more often if I could! The sandwich was tasty - slight toast on the bun which felt like the softest grit of sandpaper touching the roof of the mouth. Inspiring bites. Next was the chicken. I couldn't get enough! You could tell the clucker was proud to give himself to the PDQ franchise for consumption. His grace and bushido like death allowed for a ferocious breading to coat him like a warm coffin complimenting him for his service with the PDQ farmhouse. And the frying technique.... wow! You can definitely tell they put their chicken in oil to fry it. It's the classic way of preparing food they brings a smile to my face. After the chicken, we get to the extras. The lettuce? Was it grown on the roof of this luscious back road eatery? Oh... sent to us from a mass processing plant out of state? Could have fooled me! The tomato? It was red! The sauce? It was liquid for sure! And the tang treated my mouth to a delicious lobster dinner before taking it back to its city condo for a night I'll never forget! And it's lasted as long as I needed that's for sure. Tots? I would trade my toddler for these ones if I could. They are warmer, tastier, and don't talk back when I tell them to eat their apples before their chicken nuggets. I was waiting in anticipation, I'm sure like most Seminole residents for this location to open. The "Are you curious yet" sign up as the store was being built added to it I'm sure. But after a few visits, I have to admit to myself that it didn't live up to the hype. The concept is nothing new, Chick-fil-A has been doing it for years, but they do have a few things that set them apart and those things are arguably the draw here. First let me start with the good. The fresh homemade sauces are excellent. Things like sweet chili and a peanut Thai sauce are definitely unique and interesting to dip your chicken in. They offer bowls and salads that are creative and tasty. And the sandwiches (my favorite the pimento crunch) are unique compared to the competition. So why 3 stars? First and foremost the prices aren't great. And the up charging is a bit ridiculous. Got a chocolate peanut butter shake and got up charged. 70 cents even though the menu made no mention of it and it was pretty awful at that. The chicken is good, but not great. Chick-fil-A across the street does a better job and the amount of chicken they put on their salads is weak. An 8 dollar salad should have plenty! Spending almost 27 bucks for an average lunch (plus shakes) just doesn't cut it at a fast food place. Will I be back? Probably, because the the sauce is boss! But will this be in my regular rotation? People Dedicated to Quality or Pretty Damn Quick, whichever you may think it is, it is neither. I ordered a chicken sandwich, less the mayo and asked for ketchup and mustard. When I got to the window the young man asked me what kind of mustard I wanted (really?) I asked for yellow mustard then he told me they didn't have any. So I told them to omit the mustard. Five minutes, literally, later he emerged from the window to tell me they did have yellow mustard and did I still want it. I received my sandwich 13 minutes after placing and paying for my order. No Quality or Quick in their service!!! Then there is the food: No Quality at ALL; my sandwich was cold, the chicken had a layer of what best resembled rubber and was just about inedible. I could barely choke down ten bites and was ill about an hour later. For a better value and definitely better Quality, I would go across the street to Chic-fil-A!!! read more

We tried PDQ in Seminole recently just opened. The restaurant is kinda small inside as far as seating goes. There's a few TVs inside to watch while you wait for your food. Menu is on smaller size. They got chicken tenders a few chicken sandwiches and salad bowls with chicken. I saw a lot of people with the salad bowl and there was someone who had chicken broccoli and I think rice in a bowl. People seemed to like the bowl meals. The chicken tenders are ok. Mine was a little over cooked. The crispy outside is nothing special and the chicken itself was blah no flavor. Very light on seasoning which is a good thing but actual chicken didn't have flavor. They do want you to try the dipping sauces which they had a lot of. That kinda turns me away because the chicken has to have flavor to rely on a sauce that's not saying much. Fries were skinny and I had a lot of tiny pieces of fries in my basket. Prices are like it is everywhere now on high side. They do have a variety of milk shakes and they were good we tried the Oreo and the lady made it a Double Oreo that comes with a really big straw. They have outdoor seating and a bean bag toss game outside to play with. Kids seem to like it kinda hard for a kid not to like chicken tenders. I'm sure it will do well in that area it's a busy section in Seminole and has a drive through. read more

I am a PDQ lover and have eaten at least 20 PDQs across Florida and Illinois (before they closed). Only twice in my history of eating at my favorite fast food restaurant have I been denied sauce. I like eight sweet srirachas with my two orders of Zucchini fries and the Clearwater locations seems to know me and that I usually come on Friday after work. Due to the COVID-19 and being healthier, I haven't eaten out in three months. The other day the young lady at this location informed me that zucchini fries are back, while I was getting my son the kids' meal. He is a PDQ lover, too. I broke my quarantine and decided it was worth risking it for awesome PDQ. I ordered it and the service was awesome. I decided to visit this location again yesterday, because they were so nice and though I ordered a five piece tender meal and two orders of zucchini fries, she told me that I can only have four sauces. She said "We are trying to limit how many sauces we give out, due to people asking for so many sauces." Not due to shortage of supplies, cleanliness or some other reasonable reason. I told her that I wanted a refund for the zucchini fries and the manager granted the request. He took about five minutes to give the refund holding up the line behind us...over four sauces. And the zucchini fries were already cooked. My wife was not happy and wrote the corporate office, which like last time, they send us gift certificates and apologize. The corporate office told me that you should never be denied sauce. which is the same answer I was given about five years ago, when this happened. I was a regular once a week customer and was willing to make PDQ "my cheat" and let down my guard. It is back up for a little while. The customer service is such a hit-or-miss at this location, I will stick to my Clearwater location, where they always greet me with a smile and throw my eight sauces in separate bag, so they are not heated up by the food. For the employees that denied me sauces, I think you should learn from your Clearwater counterparts and what PDQ stands for. read more

This PDQ is the only fast food restaurant that we've been to that constantly always wears their mask at the drive-through. The food is always fresh and hot and you get a speedy friendly service. This is a new location and will probably have some bumps in the road. My family like PDQ. Everything is made fresh to order tastes great. I noticed with this location there is a little more seasoning in the breading but I liked it. This place has been pretty packed so maybe wait for it to slow down. The people at this PDQ definitely give the best quality! I can't remember the name of the wonderful woman who took my order, but she just made my day! She made me feel welcome! I ordered a sandwich and side and it was taking a little longer than usual and the woman up front and a young man generously gave me 3 buy one get one gift cards, 1 free meal gift card, and a cookie! My husband and I walked in and thought the decor was nice. When we first walked in, the floors were very slick and I almost fell. It seems as though they had mopped the floor with a grease mop. I was a bit shocked when I saw the prices. An 8 piece nugget with fries was 7.29 but there was an up charge of $.50 for lemonade and another up charge of $1.49 for zuchini fries which I had no problem with. The Nuggets were small and by the time I got home to eat them, most of the breading had fallen off and I was left with chicken chuncks. The zuchini fries were awesome but a little too salty for me. My husband had the queso bowl. We were impressed with the size but I think they should rethink putting it into a cardboard bowl. We went to take it out of the bag and the bowl had collapsed from the heat. At first he thought it was pretty good but then realized, where's the cheese. They must have put it on the bottom or something because we couldn't find it. I have saved the best for last. We both ordered shakes, my husband got a chocolate malted shake, by the way there's a $.50 up charge for malt. I ordered the oreos mint shake which was $3.49 plus another up charge of $.50 for it being a "seasonal" shake. I didn't know mint oreos shake had a season. There seems to be a pattern here with the upcharges. So, I get my small shake, it's suppose to be 14 oz. Well, I know what 12 oz. feel like and when I got the shake, it felt light so I opened it to see and the cup was only 3/4 full. Here's the best part, your gonna love this, there was a hair on the inside of the cup, just above the shake line. How could someone not see it when they put the lid on! Now I have gotten aggravated after dishing out $31.07 on our dinner. I almost fell over when I got the total, but it was supposed to be good. I took the shake back to the clerk and showed him the hair. He gave it to the mamager and the manager asked if he could remake the shake and give me a large. I really didn't want a large with everything else I ordered but I reluctantly agreed. He said "well you don't have to drink it all" after he saw the look on my face. So, what I get here is, we're gonna give you a large, even though you won't drink it all, and you'll be happy. So I watch as the shake maker makes me a new shake. As he finishes making it, I see him lean over to get a lid from the shelf above the shake mixer, I see his shirt dip into my shake. I give up, there is no sense in saying anything again. So the clerk hands me my new large shake, tells me that they don't usually make "seasonal" shakes in large, like I asked for a large, duh. Right before I grabbed it, I looked at the cup and there is shake all over the outside of the cup. Are you kidding me, clerk takes it back and wipes it off with a sanitizing cloth that he gets from under the counter. I will not be back to PDQ. Instead of people dedicated to quality as a slogan how about People Demand Quality. read more
