Very cute inn with complimentary breakfast, drinking water on tap, mini golf, swimming pools, etc. the rooms were adorable as well. This place would have been a 5 star review if not for the paper thin walls. The walls were so thin and it made for such a horrible nights sleep. We heard the neighboring room vomit and use the bathroom in the middle of the night, pack their bags in the morning and the rustling of plastic bags, and we heard every phone alarm in our vicinity go off in the morning. We also heard the cleaning staff come in to clean the neighboring room in the morning. All this excess noise is even after we closed all the windows.

Super cute rooms. Offers a balcony. Nice common area in the central area. Pastries, coffee, juice offered until 10AM. They have staff until pretty late so if you have issues you can go to the front desk. It's become rare to have rooms with a bathtub these days so I appreciated they had one!

what a cute little inn in Boulder, CA. upon our arrival we were greeted by the receptionist. we checked in pretty late like 7 pm or so. they rooms were nice and had it unique charm. rooms were clean though some areas needed attention. count help but notice that there may have been a leak of some sort by the refrigerator. the carpet was wet. i was impressed that they had a letter or note saying all their water ( from the faucet was drinkable because it was filtered water) they have a big pool and couple of hot spas. along with some fire pits also they have nice balconies. the room had: microwave, mini refrigerator, iron, ironing board and plenty of towels along with drink ware. pea soup in is conveniently located near the freeway exits 246 and 101. which is nice and near by a lot of fast food restaurant. complimentary breakfast from 6am to 10 am. did not like that they have the old building next to them ( non vacant) there is plenty of parking for this inn. if you're on a budget this is a great option.

First time staying here because the prices were a lot more reasonable than staying in Santa Barbara and Solvang. Such a cute family hotel! Swimming pool, hot tub, mini golf and fire pits. Our teens had a great time just hanging outside playing. The breakfast was danishes and muffins but better than nothing. We took a 10 minute drive down the street to Solvang, so it's a great location if you want to visit there. We will definitely be back again! The rooms were clean and comfy.

I wanted to visit Solvang so I stayed at this hotel which is about 5-10 minutes away. The check-in process was smooth and there was free parking around the exterior of the hotel. The interior of the room was a little run down and outdated. My room had a microwave, fridge, and a balcony overlooking the courtyard. There was a TV in the room but didn't have a ton of offerings besides local and basic channels. Some amenities included a swimming pool in the middle, a putting green, corn hole, chairs and tables. There was complimentary breakfast but was just Danish pastries, muffins, and coffee. The pastries reminded me of toaster strudels; I'm not sure if they were store bought (probably) but they actually tasted pretty good. The hotel is within close proximity to Solvang which is the main attraction of the area. It's also about 45 minutes from Santa Barbara if you want to make that drive to a larger city. The actually town where this hotel is located (Buellton) doesn't have much, but this hotel has the basics.

The property has a spacious lobby, plenty of outdoor seating with cozy fire pits, a nice swimming pool with a Jacuzzi, and a complimentary breakfast served daily from 6:00 to 10:00 a.m. One of our favorite features was the peaceful setting. Behind the hotel is a small hillside, which gives the property a quiet, secluded feel surrounded by nature. In the evenings, we loved relaxing by the fire pits, enjoying takeout dinner paired with some local wines. The pool area was well maintained, with plenty of fresh towels and ample lounge chairs. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of options, including bread, omelets, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, muffins, oatmeal, and fresh coffee. They also offer a 24/7 coffee station in the lobby along with complimentary apples, which was a nice touch. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bed was very cozy, and the hotel was quiet at night, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. There's also a great brewery nearby that's worth checking out for good food and drinks. If you're planning to visit Solvang and Santa Barbara, I would definitely recommend staying here.

I'm curious to know why there are any exposed pipes in the first place. I'm sure having exposed pipes violates multiple city and health codes. One unique thing I noticed at this Marriott hotel was that the room had Febreze Car Clip Air Fresheners attached to the AC vents. I've never seen this at any other hotel. I'm not sure if this is standard practice at this hotel or if it was added to this particular room because the previous guest smoked in it. I emailed the hotel general manager, never received a reply or courtesy call. This is not what we expected from a reputable brand like Marriott.

I read through some of the negative reviews before booking, and honestly, I think they completely missed the mark. This hotel sits right at the beginning of the Solvang strip, and in my opinion, it's the perfect location. You're just steps away from all the shops, restaurants, and even one of the local breweries, but far enough from the center of town that you can actually enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. If you're someone who insists on staying right in the middle of all the action, this may not be the spot for you--but don't expect much quiet over there! The hotel has been newly renovated, and our room was adorable, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to anything we needed. They truly made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The property itself isn't huge, but they did an excellent job making the most of the space. There's a cute full-service bar with indoor and outdoor seating, a café offering breakfast, pastries, coffee, and a surprisingly good selection of food throughout the day. The lobby also has a convenient grab-and-go market, and outside you'll find a cozy fire pit lounge with games and a relaxing water feature that makes for a great place to unwind in the evening. There isn't a pool, but honestly, that's not why you come to Solvang. If you're looking for outdoor adventures, you're just a short drive from Lake Cachuma and the beach. But let's be real--most people come here for the amazing food, wine, shopping, and the charming Danish village atmosphere, and this hotel puts you close to all of it. I'm actually surprised there aren't more reviews for this property because it was completely sold out during our stay, and now I understand why. Out of the several Hilton properties I stayed at during my trip this week, this one was easily my favorite. Great job to the entire team! You all set the standard for hospitality. Hopefully, the San Francisco Hilton team can take a few notes from you!

They were friendly, diligent, and the cleanliness of the room was excellent. They were actually helpful in many other ways as they had to show us where the manager's room was located - as there were no signs. It was the room with McDonald's trash waiting to be carried out. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was disappointing. When we arrived, the manager told us we had to wait for him to "clock back in from lunch" before he could help us. After the wait, he walked us to our room, and we were surprised by how incredibly small it was. There was barely enough space for two people to move around the bed, and one person had to step aside just so the other could get into the bathroom. There wasn't even a small table or desk, so I had nowhere to work or even sit comfortably to enjoy a cup of coffee. Booking was also frustrating. I called the hotel directly to ask about my employer discount, but the person who answered wasn't very helpful and told me I had to book through a specific website. We did, but nowhere on that site did it accurately convey just how tiny the room would be. Had we known, we would have stayed elsewhere, since I was there for work. The excellent housekeeping staff is the reason I'm giving more than one star. Management, communication, and transparency about the room size (including the pictures on their website) all need significant improvement.

The amenities are also nice with the pool, spa, gym etc. The rationale for the 3 star rating is based on several factors. Let's start with the one that is hard to control but should be disclosed atleast upon arrival. This would be the massive amount of blackbirds dive bombing and pooping all over the sites and customer's items and RVs. We were in site number 7 after requesting during my reservation to not be near the front entry when I spoke with Carlos on the phone while making my reservation. These blackbirds are a nuisance and crapped all over our chairs, rugs, BBQ, stove, RV, steps, awning etc. We spent 10 days at the resort and spent much time cleaning bird poop. It was like a scene from the movie "The Birds" by Alfred Hitchcock. That made the stay miserable. We left each day to go hiking and exploring and came back to our site full of bird droppings and not just a few, it was like freckles of crap everywhere. Secondly and not quite as dramatic and severe was the laundry as 4 machines were totally out of order leaving not many to utilize. The restaurant was a nice feature as was the nearby Sideways Lounge. We probably won't be staying here again especially after the bird fiasco which was nightmarish to say the least. The 10 day stay also cost us approximately $1200 and I spent many hours cleaning bird poop and now need to have out RV detailed, chairs, carpet etc. sanitized and cleaned. I saw the spikes on all of the light poles and spoke to some of the staff members about the bird problems and they are fully aware. The place would a better place to stay if we didn't have those troubling issues. It's hard to camp somewhere and enjoy the outdoors when you can't even sit outside the RV and enjoy the day without getting pooped on by the vast amount of nuisance blackbirds in the resort.

You recycled an old Original signed hotel registration guest card from "someplace" from 2005! Did you have another property with 28+ rooms? And WHY would you hold onto papers that long & why did you not shred it? You should be shredding guest reg. cards & NOT hand out people's personal info in ANY capacity! 2.) Other few negatives to note: I did not trust the cleaning skills. A soapy, used washcloth was left hanging on the shower pipe. There is a bit of mold at the shower ceiling, upper walls, floor corners & wall tiles that should be bleached & the ceiling should be painted with mold resistant paint. Room AC vent should be disinfected to prevent it from smelling like ammonia (urine) when using fan only mode. 3.) I did not trust their cleaners & I did not want folks in/out due to Covid. I always travel with a security camera now after I had cleaners open my door to attempt to enter my room at an SD hotel, while I was inside sleeping (thankfully the big security latch prevented them from entering) ~~So pls do not enter rooms when guests are not there & you agreed to "not enter".
