Stopped by Piezzetta inside Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore and I'm still thinking about that pizza. It was SO good!!!! Fresh, hot, and made to order just how I like it. You can really taste the difference. We ate every single slice, and I'm honestly mad at myself for not getting another pie to go. They also have wings, and salads. I ordered the Supreme pizza and it's hands down one of the best pizzas I've had in a while. The toppings were generous, everything tasted fresh, and the crust had that perfect balance, crispy on the outside but still soft inside. Super cheesy and just overall tasty. The staff was great and super efficient. Our food came out quick, which is always a plus, especially in a busy casino. One pie was about $20, and honestly, it was so worth it. Tucked away in the corner of the horseshoe dining level, this pizza shop offers a great option for pizza wings, salads, pasta and more. It's easy to miss, but apparently, people know about it. There were quite a few customers in the store while I was here. I decided to try a half and half, margherita and chicken pesto. I liked the flavors of both, but the pesto was my fave. The employees were nice and friendly. There's plenty of areas to sit outside of the store to eat and enjoy your food or take it with you. I wouldn't say it's a personal size pizza. So I've been coming here for literally about two years it's probably the highlight of Horseshoe casino, which is a bad thing. But this place has great pizza. They stay open super late past 12 AM which is super awesome. But the pizza turned out great and the people that helped me after the pizza cutter and the cashier made up for the bad service I got from the girl making my pizza. The pizza was little more then I am used to paying for a make your own pizza place like Pieology but it was located in the casino so they probably had to raise there prices to survive. Pizza box was kind of flimsy and so were the plates but I almost ate all my pizza so it didn't really matter and I wasn't taking home leftovers. You may be tempted to get all the toppings since it's the $14 for unlimited toppings. But you would be a fool...A FOOL...if you did so. I laugh (of course internally, I'm not an idiot) at those putting all the meats and all the veggies on their pizza. It'll never properly cook, and the texture is all ruined. So when you do visit, and you should definitely visit, simplicity is where it's at. The most complicated pizza I get is the veggie, which has artichokes on it -- something I never see as an option anywhere else. But the real secret to this place is the crust. It is delicious and the texture is just right. You don't have to wait too long if you avoid the crunch times (late night). I would avoid getting a pizza after midnight on the weekends when they shut down the customization and only sell a few pre-determined pies. I don't find those to be good at all. I sometimes come here for lunch. Sometimes I'll pick up a pie to bring home for dinner. It is worth it to just come to the casino for a pizza. read more

The only thing nastier than the food was the attitude of the pizza maker lady. It was as if she was bothered by having to do her job. Unpleasant and short with her mumbled answers. Pizza - subpar. We've all had generic food court pizza that's served by the slice and has been sitting out for eons only to be reheated for a minute and served to you as a pile of mush. Forget all that, the pizzas here are thin crust individual sized (though two can easily split and I took half home) are made to order with large a variety of toppings that you choose or select one of their creations. They cook them in some special oven that only takes a few minutes. I had the margherita pizza which was very tasty and fresh without being greasy. They also add some ingredients like cheese, oil, species, etc. to your pizza after baking which gives it a unique taste. Even my Italian NYer wife approved of this place's pizza. It's a little expensive at $12-14 each but there's the casino markup and you get two meals from a pizza here. I could see the line backing up here a little if they're busy but it was fast when we ordered. Last night was my first time having this pissed and it was delicious. I thought that people were just pumping it up, but these pies are tasty! I built my own, but I think I will try one of the inspired pizzas next time. It took me forever to decide what I wanted on my pizza. This place gets pretty busy after midnight and during the weekend, so your best bet to try it without a crowd is during the week. This place has the potential to be a 5 star, but I want to try some other pie's first. The idea behind Piezzetta is pretty awesome. It's essentially like a subway/chipotle model where you get to pick all of your own toppings. The best part is that your pizza bakes in about 5 minutes! It's $9.99 for a plain cheese pizza. $11.99 for a one-topping pizza. $13.99 for unlimited toppings pizza. $13.99 for their specialty pizzas. It's awesome to be able to put as many toppings as you want on your pizza without any additional charges. However, the base prices are already pretty high, I can't imagine how they could ever charge per topping. A drink was on the menu for $2.99. But it's $3.99 more to make it a combo and get a drink and side. I opted for the combo and got a side salad which came to $19.06. The pizza is big enough to share between two people (but also small enough that you devour it yourself!). I did the create your own pizza and loved being able to choose whatever I wanted. They have lots of good toppings. It's not the most exhaustive toppings list but they have all of your favorites. I would say that Piezzetta is the place to go if you're a toppings person. If you love lots of toppings then you'll love the freedom of choosing as many as you want without facing additional charges. If you're someone who just likes plain pizza or one topping then you can probably get a better deal from any pizza delivery. But it's a decent pizza if you're at the casino. read more

Pizza was just as described by everybody I know that has already been here. I'm not surprised considering they had the longest line in the whole food court. I got the chicken pizza with onions and spinach. The sauce was flavorful and it was just the right amount. I thought the chicken would be dry because of the way it looked but it definitely wasn't. However, the crust could've been a little crispier. I would've given 5 stars but this is the area of the casino that some would consider unsafe. Apparently the pizza location is the location where all the fights break out at. Came here on 10/21/17. I haven't been to the Horseshoe casino is about 3 years so it was nice to check and see if it's like what I remembered. So after watching my boo lose some money and then win some money :-) My bae and I was super hungry and out of all the places to eat inside the casino, this place had the longest line so this was an indicator that the food is good. We waited in line maybe 10 minutes or longer. They have a small menu but a variety of things such as pasta and of course pizza. They have an option for you to create your own puzzle for about $13.99 or a specialty pizza. We chose the specialty veggie pizza. I am so glad that I did too. So after they put all the toppings on it, they run the unbaked pizza thru the oven and it's out within a minute or two and then you pay.
