Their "design" services consisted of using the Pinterest photos that we provided and some basic CAD drawings. They didn't show up to an initial meeting, (admitted putting it on their calendar incorrectly, this should have been a red flag), didn't read or respond to multiple emails with important information, didn't incorporate several specific written requests into project plans, and continuously wasted time, but they certainly charged for every minute they may have been even thinking about our project. Of course what we paid would have been a small portion of our overall project budget, but to have received virtually no timelines or final plans, or even basic communication, and to have wasted months of time that could have been used actually planning and completing the project, we decided to cut our losses. Before posting a review, we reached out to the owner, Jeff, (I am always very hesitant to post something that could negatively impact someone's livelihood), but from his defensive response it seems like this is just how they do business, and I feel our experience should be available to anyone considering using their services. Woodland Construction Group exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The space originally had an open niche next to the oven and microwave, and we wanted a floor to ceiling pantry that looked like it had been installed with the original kitchen. Woodland Construction Group custom built and installed a beautiful pantry cabinet, and the match to our existing cabinetry is absolutely perfect. The color, style, trim work, and finish blend seamlessly with the rest of the kitchen. You truly cannot tell it was added after the home was built. What makes this cabinet even better is the functionality. They incorporated custom pull out drawers and installed electrical outlets inside the cabinet, allowing us to create a hidden coffee bar. We can keep our coffee maker, blender, and other small appliances tucked away behind closed doors while still having easy access to everything. The pantry storage is incredible, and the pull out shelves make it easy to organize and reach items without digging through deep cabinets. My husband and I are very satisfied and impressed with their expertise, professionalism, efficiency and their high quality work. Their crew was very professional, respectful, friendly, talented and fast. A team of four guys worked at our house non-stop for about 4 days, they cleaned up and left the house sparkling clean and as good as new.
