I LOVE OUR NEW ROOF! And I would have Premiere Pacific do my next one. All of the workers knew what they were doing, and they got at it. They worked together as a team. They were congenial. They took precautions to avoid damage during rainy periods. They cleaned up the yard every evening before quitting for the day. (Whistle while you work. One guy was actually singing along with the radio, even on a cold, windy day, as he work!) This proves, their passionate about their work! A porta-potty was rented for their use. This company cares about their workers' needs! That tell you something. Our roof was both complicated and difficult - a two story house with some high-pitched areas. Premier Pacific was not the lowest bid, but we felt - based upon what was told to us by Gorge and by online reviews- that we should go with them. We actually had about 6 bids, 3 in the spring (wasn't sure when we're getting them done and another 3 more for October when we're ready to really get the job going). We were not disappointed. There were no additional charges from our original contract. The contractor they selected to replace the gutters was top notch and did a great job too. The whole process was the kind of excellence I had sought when screening companies for bids and the work. The estimator was knowledgeable, detailed and accurate. The crew was STELLAR: quality work by the looks of it all now that it is done, excellent communication during the work, consideration for our neighbors and our household's work-at-home situation, VERY TIDY and considerate when coming and going during the work, good cleanup afterwards (we had no flat tires and neither did our neighbors, unlike when a neighbor had a different company give us 3 flat tires during a 3 day job). When they got past the tear-off there were good pics of where leaks had started to seep through and solid communication about the scope of the problem and the solutions, which were almost exactly what was in the bid. Quality follow-up by PM who inspected crew work and the site and checked in with me during AND after the job. We are VERY happy this company offers benefits to their employees and works to keep skilled people from leaving because the results show in the complete roof tear-off and replacement we had last summer. We have had two big rainstorms, with high wind events, for many days on two different weeks this new rainy season and not a single issue with the roof. My house needed a new roof. So, I contacted seven 5-star rated roofing companies, and each sent a representative to my house. I hired Premier Pacific Roofing, Inc. (PPR). Let me tell you why you should hire them, too. Of the seven representatives, only two actually climbed on to the highly pitched roof to assess the condition. Given the pitch, there is no way to truly assess its condition unless you get on the roof. These two reps took photos to show what they found. PPR's representative, Jorge Parra Duarte, climbed on the roof and his photos, assessment and explanation of the roof's condition were thorough. Absolutely superior to the six other assessments. Of the seven reps, only PPR's rep, Jorge, was able to say who manufactured the shingles, the product line, and color. Perhaps the other reps could have provided the information with a little due diligence. Additionally, PPR did not install the 20-year-old existing roof on my house, but one of the other six companies did. When meeting with each rep, I had specific requests that were atypical for the region in terms of ice and water protection, the number of nails per shingle, etc. Several reps simply delivered their standard estimate, failing to include any or all of the "extras' I requested. PPR's rep included all of the "extras" I requested and PPR's estimate was by far the most detailed, specific and thorough. Price was important but not the only factor. PPR's estimate was not the most nor least expensive bid. Prior to the start date, Danny Escalante, PPR's Production Coordinator, reached out by phone and follow-up emails to explain the project timeline and details. PPR's roofing team Mynor Cifuentes, Rudy Cifuentes, and Rony Rodriguez showed up on time, every day and started working immediately. They worked extremely hard and cleaned up around my house at the end of each day so well that it looked better than when they showed up the first day. I was amazed at the lengths they took to protect the house and the grounds. Felix Franco and Agustin Garcia, Quality Control Managers, stopped by on the first day and periodically throughout the installation to assess progress and quality of the installation. Additionally, Jorge Parra Duarte stopped by the first day, which I appreciated, Francisco Mejia put the finishing touches on the roof after Felix's final walk through and assessment. Each of these individuals was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and positive. I trusted Jorge and his colleagues at PPR. They lived up to the contract and followed through on everything. The end result is we have a new roof that looks fantastic. We are extremely pleased to have found a company with employees who live up to their word and commitments. If you need a new roof, hire PPR. I called PPR to come look at my attic and tile roof as we found a mold spot in the attic. Juan came to our home and in less than ten minutes he told us he was divorced, and then his life story, then preceded to get a brochure out to sell me a whole new roof. He said our tiles are not good. We listened for a bit, I kept telling him I just want a leak fixed on the corner of my roof. Finally , he and my husband went to our attic. My husband showed him the interior attic spot but he preceded to walk the entire attic and claimed he found several wet spot. My husband saw none of them. Afterwards he went on the roof and took some pics. When he came back down he kept telling me my whole roof was going to need to be replaced soon and even if he did just fix the leak ( which he never looked at) there was no guarantee that that was the spot or that he could do it at all. Then he said " No one in Portland fixes tile roofs anymore and there use to be a guy 5 years ago but he's old now". He kept pressing me to do a whole roof replacement, I kept telling him I'm not interested in a roof replacement. He finally gave up and he couldn't get out fast enough. I'd like to end by saying I found an extremely reliable company here in Portland and Vancouver that does replacement and broken, tiles, and a host of other repairs to roofs if needed. I contacted three roofing companies and opted for Premier because of their thoroughness in inspecting our roof (45 min vs 5-15 min) and their honest assessment. This was also the only company to provide a detailed itemized quote for each repair we ended up needing, e.g. shingles, pipes, flashings, etc. They didn't give the cheapest quote but we felt most comfortable with having them complete the repairs over the other contenders. They arrived on time for both inspection and repair and the job was completed within two hours. They did run into a new problem while they were up there and quickly addressed it with us. A new quote to fix it was provided without pushing to repair it right then. In fact they asked us to discuss it, think on it, and also seek other quotes. The cleanup and hauling away could have been better. After they left, we found a couple shingles on the ground around the house and two coils of galvanized roofing nails in the backyard. It's hard to understand how the coils of nails got dropped or flung way pass our deck to land in the grass and forgotten about but, fortunately, we found them before any foot or paw injuries occurred. Overall, I'm happy with Premier's quick service and honest feedback. I would recommend giving them a call for a free quote but I'll let you decide whether they're right for your roofing needs. read more

From the time Jorge showed up at my house to provide an estimate to the completion of our roofing project, I have been completely impressed with PPR's professionalism, quality and service. They exceeded my expectations in terms of finished work and left my yard and driveway cleaner than when they came. After our roof had been completed, we had several days of intense rain, and found a couple gutters were overflowing, so I called the company up and ask if they could come take a look. We had a new presidential TL (50 year roof) installed on our massive roof with a steep pitch and lots of ridges and valleys. Our new roof looks amazing. The project was the largest we've undertaken so we met with 5 estimators and all of them came in very similar on price, but PPR seemed to have the best warranty included, and we liked them best. The estimator was fantastic, and by far the best person we met with during the bid/quote process. We actually decided we'd use Premier Pacific Roofing for the project before we even got the prices back from their competitors. These guys work hard and get the job done fast. They budgeted 5 to 7 days for our project and got it hammered out (literally) in 3 days. We had our cedar roof replaced about 2 months ago. We got four quotes and premier was the 2nd lowest, but they had better reviews and also agreed to help replace some siding on our chimney. So overall, they included more. They promptly began and completed the work. Everything went pretty well, but there were a few small problems. But, to their credit, they were quickly resolved. And when I noticed one torn shingle about 2 weeks after completion of the project and receipt of full payment, Felix came by and fixed it. Which tells me they stand behind their work. Last Summer I realized our roof had been badly damaged by the extreme amounts of snow and ice. I started calling roofing companies with the highest ratings on various websites. Out of about 16 companies total that gave me an estimate, Premier Pacific Roofing had one of the more reasonable quotes. Jorge Parra was the Supervisor that gave me the estimate for Presidential TL roofing. He was very polite at our initial meeting and with each email. I had narrowed my choice down to two companies. Jorge and Salvador from PPR met with me again and kindly brought over multiple samples for me to look at as I tried to navigate which roofing material was right for our home. Jorge also put together other bids for other types of roofs so that we could make the most informed decision possible. Every interaction with this company has been great, so we scheduled them for the job. Premier Pacific Roofing started in March, one week after our scheduled date due to rain and snow. They communicated daily about the progress. A few members of the crew showed up on the very rainy days to make sure everything was fine and the tarps were staying up. They cleaned everything on a daily basis and took very good care not to damage my home or my landscaping. One of my biggest concerns was ventilation since we were transitioning from a cedar shake roof to asphalt shingles. PPR did a great job adding plenty of ventilation. I had a great experience from first conversation to final sign off. The sales and project managers were friendly and listened to what I needed. The workers facilitated what we needed, asked questions on how we wanted to handle things they discovered on tear off. They even coordinated their efforts around my need to install installation. The project was done on time and on budget even though they had to replace more wood than they originally quoted. They even installed tie-off loops on the roof even though I only mentioned it would be nice once. They pointed out a few potential problems in full disclosure rather than sugar coating things and then surprise me. They provided very good documentation around the products they used and the warranty options. And they had the best clarity on the scope of work and itemization of what each part of the project cost. We hired PPR to replace our 1949 ranch's squishy composite roof with a metal roof, and we couldn't be happier with it. They addressed our concerns about ventilation thoughtfully and thoroughly. When a spot of condensation caught our attention adjacent to our chimney in the attic, a year after installation, someone arrived at our house to make a minor adjustment to the flashing within 30 minutes. We hired these folks again 1.5 years later to replace the squishier composite roof on an addition in the backyard. When one of the members of the crew noticed that the space beneath would have a cathedral/vaulted ceiling, the crew adjusted their plans to accommodate for the trickier ventilation requirements of such a structure. One final anecdote - this roofing project started a couple of days before a big backyard barbecue. The roofers kindly moved all of the big, bulky supplies out of the way before the party. A couple of hours after leaving, a couple of crew members returned on a strike of conscience to make sure that a sharp strip of gutter didn't get left out in our side yard, putting kids at risk of injury out of sight. This kind gesture was greatly appreciated, and made for a worry-free barbecue for kids and parents alike! read more
