Tristin has been with me through years of big hair changes. She took me from blonde to brunette during pregnancy, and then directly to platinum card blonde, and she is truly the BLONDE QUEEN. I have spent my whole life chasing the perfect icy blonde and never achieved it until her. No unwanted warmth, no weird patches, just flawless, consistent color for 5.5 years straight. I wear extensions too, which adds another layer of skill, and she handles color matching and blending perfectly every time. I just started transitioning back to brunette and even that first in-between appointment looked incredible, which says everything. Beyond her talent, Tristin is kind, funny, flexible, and makes five hour appointments feel easy. After all the time I have spent in her chair, I can confidently say you cannot go wrong booking with her. I would give a million stars if I could.

I've been to about 4 other hairstylists/salons prior to this one. Some I've spent years going to and for one reason or another (Examples: cut my hair shorter than I asked, felt like they hated their job, price was insanely high) I left them. Thank goodness for Kinzie! I came in with lighter colored hair and wanted to go back to darker/closer to roots. I informed Kinzie that I suffer from eczema and dry scalp (have some scabbing on my scalp) and Kinzie treated me with the most non judgmental approach I've ever experienced. My previous stylist and her assistant gave off a "ick" or "rather be working with someone else vibe". Not Kinzie! She was so welcoming, had me in n out of the salon in 2 hours, and did exactly what I wanted. The salon itself was cute, chic, and clean. Pricing was reasonable. Stylist was great!

Kamie is extremely thorough in her craft and really goes above and beyond to make sure her client is happy and satisfied with their hair. She is super easy to talk to and having a conversation with her makes the time go by so fast! I also love how bubbly she is! I have never been to a hair salon before, but needless to say, I will definitely be coming back here as well as recommending my friends/family too! The studio smells very fresh and is very aesthetically pleasing. I think I have found my new favorite place to get my hair done!

Yea, this is probably one of those. For 20+ years, I never really paid attention to my hair. Sure, I made sure it was washed, neat, and healthy, but I never styled or dyed it. Mainly because I just wanted to grow it long enough to donate every year and to rinse-repeat that cycle. Well, maybe it was a mid-life crisis or the shackles of filial piety were broken, but I finally FINALLY decided to get my hair dyed purple at the end of Dec 2023. I wanted to get this done right, and I did a ton of research and perused the area on a great hairdresser. And, every hair is different and I really was trying to dial in on hairdressers that know how to deal with Asian hair (ha, the past bad basic haircuts at the hands of the inexperienced were sad). Honestly, all of the pictures on Yelp really convinced me to reach out to Christine, and it was such an easy process via Yelp to let her know that I was interested in a cut, dyeing, and some styling. AND, I have sensitive skin and wanted to make sure any type of bleaching process wouldn't affect me, so that was hugely important to me. We got all the logistics figured out, got an appointment scheduled, and was ready to go. On the day of the appointment, I was able to message her to let her know I was in front of the doors so that she could let me in. She was so kind and welcoming! She sat me down, confirmed a few pointers, and started on my hair. Wash, cut, trim, bleach, dye. She was professional through the 4+ hours we were together, where we chatted on a number of different things as she made sure that everything was going to plan at every stage of my hair process. Let me tell you: the final result was AWESOME. Loved my hair; it was exactly what I wanted (the picture does not do it justice). She also provided me information on what specific shampoo/conditioner to use on my hair (definitely take her recommendations: the shampoo and conditioner were really good, as it strongly maintained my purple for over 1.5 years!). I received nothing but compliments about my hair the entire time it was purple for the past 1.5 years. But, it's summer 2025 now, and it was time to cut off at least 12" to let my neck breathe. I reached out to Christine via Yelp again, let her know I was looking for a cut-only, and got an appointment. Same process of messaging her when I was outside the doors, and we quickly chatted about my hair as we walked to her salon. The purple still looked GREAT and I was sad to see most of it go, but I do have plans maybe in the next 6 months for another color. Anyways, we did a quick consult, then wash, and then cut! Final result of a bob/layered was soooo nice and exactly what I was looking for. Hubby could not stop complimenting about it all night when I got home, and I love that there's still a little more purple left to admire. With all of the above, I just want to say that Christine is amazing, talented, and so professional. Her art is very visible in her work, and I've loved my hair any time she has touched it. Hands-down, she's the only hairdresser I'll want to go to, and I wish her continued successes in her business because she deserves it. I'm looking forward to my next cut/dye job with her!

I've spent months growing out my layers, researching hair style images, and looking forward to this appointment to rock a new style. But instead, I left my appointment with face framing layers that were too short and not blended well into the ends. I believe my stylist tried to fix this by thinning the ends which ended up making me look like I have a bob with a long tail. Very upsetting, I've lost the thickness and shape at the ends of my hair which I cared for. I do want to say that when I called, Giovanni's was very responsive in refunding me. But I would much rather have received a hair cut I can be confident in.

He made her first haircut a genuinely happy and fun experience. She asked for bangs and a bob, and it turned out to be the cutest hairstyle I've ever seen on her (see photo). Even now, long after it's grown out, she still asks to get the same haircut again. It was a great experience overall. The price was higher than a typical children's haircut, but it was well worth it for such a positive, comfortable experience--especially for a first haircut.
