    Good ole American breakfast.

The server and hostest tried their best, but this visit left more to be desired. There were plenty of open seats but the manager was placing a 20minute hold between seating parties. This didn't make the visit any shorter. Food took a long time to come out and one of the dishes was room temperature. Photos attached of the plating. For what they're charging, we expected at least a hot meal. Total miss. The booth itself was not cleaned properly. Food left on the seat and the table was wet to the touch. 2 stars because our server was kind and tentative.

I was pleasantly surprised after coming here for brunch today! Hands down, I recommend the Valley Fiesta Rancheros, the flavors were bursting on my tongue. It had chorizo sausage, avocado, diced tomatoes, an egg, and their jalapeño chili sauce which added the perfect sweet and slightly spicy kick. I love how big the portions are for each plate, and the prices are so affordable! The vegetable and egg croissant Benedict was pretty good and very filling. Also, the apple fritters were the perfect amount of sweetness. As someone who doesn't have the biggest sweet tooth, they did well in making it not overwhelmingly sweet. The strawberry yogurt and fritter pairing was definitely interesting, but I did enjoy the dish!

Peach Valley Cafe is in my opinion one of the best places for breakfast in Gainesville Florida. Personally, I've been wanting to try this place out since researching which restaurants to try in Gainesville. We had breakfast the day before the wedding 3 weeks ago and I can say everyone was impressed by this restaurant. The Apple fritters were so light and crunchy and served with a yogurt base which helped balance it out. The Chicken and waffles were amazing and served with a blueberry butter With creamy grits and home fries were the best combination and absolutely wonderful taste. For my next visit, I'm trying the stuffed French toast. For my first visit here, very impressed by both the food and service.

We were seated quickly on a late Saturday morning which was great. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was served quickly. The Apple fritters with strawberry yogurt were good - worth ordering. The chicken and waffles with blueberry butter had a nice spice on the chicken and the blueberry and syrup helped cut the heat. It came with 5 waffle pieces and 2 chicken tenders - it would have been better with one more piece of chicken. Overall very good The chocolate chip pancake was bigger than a dinner plate. Not too dense, good balance of chocolate - quite delish

Visiting UF Small Animal Clinic and we had to wait for our furbaby to be done. We were looking for a good place for breakfast... The staff suggested that we try this place, but don't forget to order the apple fritters! We checked it out and couldn't have been happier. Let me just say that the apple fritters are awesome, coming out warm and full of apples with a side of berry yogurt for dipping. The Eggs Benedict was good and the Belgian Waffle was huge! Great staff and a great place to grab breakfast!

Peach Valley is one of my favorite breakfast spots to go to in Gainesville. Always excellent and friendly service, it may be crowded on weekends, but the staff moves efficiently. If you take the time to wait, you will be rewarded with an excellent breakfast. I almost always get the Eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce is always made well, eggs are always perfectly poached, and I love that the English Muffin stays crisp and not soggy. The breakfast potatoes that come with the meal are deliciously crispy on the outside and taste even better with a dash of Peach Valley's hot sauce. Overall, fantastic place :)

This place is a solid 3 stars to me. I've been here a couple of times and each time I've had a very mediocre experience. There is always a wait here. If you come during the weekend, expect to wait up to an hour. Last time I came here on a Tuesday morning and had to wait 20 minutes. I don't mind waiting, but I didn't expect it to be busy during a weekday. Last time I visited here, I ordered the traditional eggs Benedict. It was really disappointing. The hollandaise sauce was not good at all. It tasted oddly sour and not like a traditional eggs Benedict. Eggs Benedict is my go-to brunch option, but it was probably the worst eggs Benedict I've had. I thought the price was very average for an eggs Benedict but it wasn't worth it since it wasn't good. The potatoes on the other hand, were the best potatoes I've had in a while! I loved how crispy they were. I would definitely order just a plate of potatoes next time. Overall, this place isn't a brunch spot I would recommend to anyone. The dishes are very mediocre and not worth the price.

I have always enjoyed Peach Valley, especially the Gainesville location. I first came here when I was still going to school at UF, which has now been over a decade. The food here is breakfast, brunch, and lunch. I normally get an order of apple fritters to start and have a lunch entree. This most recent time, I had a lunch meeting with some coworkers and decided for some lighter fare, just a sante fe chicken wrap. It was very tasty. I opted for cole slaw instead of fries - the cole slaw was a little wetter than what I normally like but was very good. Service was great.

This is definitely a unique place you want to try out! Menu selection stands out meeting with every kind of mood you're in. I live in Miami and was looking for a breakfast/brunch place and a friend recommended Peach Valley Café. A few minutes drive from our air bnb and wait was only 15 minutes after a 35 minute expectation. Warm environment, our server was Emily who was very efficient and recommended several options. I have tried the French toast, pancakes, burger, egg and bacon sandwich and my personal dish and favorite was the croissant philly with eggs Benedict: a unique and authentic flavor! Parking is hard to find right in front of the restaurant but it's located in a shopping plaza so if you don't mind a 40 step walk this is your place. They also have expresso if you're into having more than regular coffee, prices are extremely good. Definitely a family place.

We tried Peach Valley this morning and she was happy but I was not. Her eggs Benedict was awesome and she has an amazing pallet, so I believe her. My chicken and waffles on the other hand... overcooked and dry chicken coupled with overcooked and dry waffles. The syrup and butter was a must to grease the pipes so the aforementioned could just get down. Disappointing to say the least coupled with a $5 cup of OJ. Let's go Brandon... thanks for the overpriced crap.

Great place for breakfast or brunch. Made it in just in time for no waiting to sit. Really enjoyed everything from the cheese grits to the waffle chicken.

Next, I had the fish & chips lunch style and thought it was really good. The fish was cooked perfectly, and it's probably some of the best fish I've tried in Florida. The boys got some of the coolest burgers in town, and my other half really enjoyed his meal as well. Our waiter, Eric, was very attentive and great with the kids, which made the experience even better. Even the bathrooms are themed! I wish I had brought my phone in to grab a photo! They were also clean and well maintained. Overall, we highly recommend this place if you're a car fan or just want a fun, themed dining experience.

We were seated outside and the weather was nice and we really enjoyed our table. Most of the adults were able to enjoy a beer or two and Maddie made sure that we were taken care of and had what we needed. My wings were good and the broccoli was well cooked. The broccoli was brought out about 5-7 minutes after my wings, but not an issue. My daughter ordered a burger with no cheese with lettuce and tomato. The burger came out with just meat and bun. No worries - Maddie was on it to get the items and bring them out. When the lettuce was brought out there were bugs - not just 1 or 2, but like 8-10 fruit fly type bugs crawling around the lettuce. Maddie immediately apologies and we wanted to tell them so they didn't serve it out to anyone else. She said she told her manager and they would be coming by. They never did. We had twins there celebrating a birthday and we wanted to celebrate. We were told they could only do one free dessert. No problem - happy to pay for one so they could both celebrate, but the manager was going to come out to talk to us. The check was brought to the table and still no manager. I would not stop back in at this location which is unfortunate since the servers do their best to help and get what is needed, but managers not seem to want to do much. We never once yelled or requested anything except to speak with a manager to make sure no one else would get served with bugs.

Let me start by saying I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews. I've worked in the service industry,…read moreboth bussing tables when I was younger and waitressing, so I'm very understanding. For me to leave a review this negative, the service truly had to be poor. Last night, we chose this place to celebrate my Irish heritage with a green beer and some light food. There is plenty of parking and outdoor seating, which is a plus. However, when we arrived, there was a line of people waiting for a table, and it quickly turned chaotic. One woman tried to cut the line, and another wanted to argue over a small booth that her family wouldn't have even fit in. Eventually, we were seated. I understand that holidays can be busy, so we were trying to be patient. Our waiter came over, dropped off menus, said "I'll be right back," and disappeared. After 25 minutes of waiting at the table, I had to flag down another waitress. Meanwhile, at least three tables that were seated after us already had drinks and had placed their food orders. I understand being busy, but at the very least, we should have been greeted or offered drinks. The waitress we flagged down said she would help us, which seemed promising at first, but then we waited another 20 minutes just for drinks. I'm not sure if it was an understaffing issue or something else, but the service was extremely poor. We considered leaving a one-star review, but the waitress did seem like she was trying. The food was okay, we ordered light items, and it still took quite a while to arrive. Overall, we would recommend skipping this place. There are plenty of other options in town that will treat you better. We work hard, and when we go out, we expect at least standard service.

Loosey's has to be a local favorite because the quality and freshness of the food is outstanding. Matthew is a local treasure and made our experience there so memorable and fun. We all remarked that it must be so electric there when live music is on stage or it's a Gator game day. We started with the loaded potato skins. There were 5 large pieces that were covered with toppings and delivered pipping hot. I could easily order that as a meal next time I'm in town. Their house ranch dipping sauce that is drizzled on top was delicious. Several in our group ordered the Chic-fil Loosey's, which is a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, but I wasn't able to grab a photo as they were so eager to get started eating it. The portion of chicken breast was extremely large and the batter was perfectly crispy. Both diners exclaimed it was one of their all- time favorite chicken sandwiches they had ever eaten. Another diner took advantage of their wing special and exclaimed the Buffalo Garlic sauce was fantastic and she paired them with their ranch as well. She loved their added touch of the small paper basket topping the plate of wings for the bones. I had the Classic Beef Burger and it was cooked perfectly. There was a nice peppery flavor to the grill of the burger and the patty size was more than I expected. Especially for the price. I was so happy we found Loosey's. It was really good food. I encourage you to look past the construction mess and the "old wooden bar" stereotypes and trust me when o say, they take great pride on preparing high quality food.

I tried to shake it off and wound up with a layer of salt on my plate. Most restaurant food is too salty for me as I cook at home low salt but this was crazy. I decided to try the Mac and cheese. It also had a cap of salt on it. I tried to dig to the bottom of the crock thinking that wouldn't be salty but I was wrong. The dish was prepared with salt throughout. Time to go and I did complain. The waitress said she hears that a lot and she offered to replace our meal to go but we didn't take her up on that offer. The fish was great! And we loved the vibe of the restaurant inside and out. Needless to say this the Metro diner truly surpassed my expectations. We walked in and were greeted immediately and asked if we would like to sit outside which is a covered area or indoors. We chose inside given it being a hot humid day and wanting that extra comfort. The vibe felt amazing with all the smiles and yes even though busy all the wait staff was hopping doing their business! We were seated and told about the specials and given the menu. I was unsure what I wanted because I think I could have eaten a little bit of everything! I did ask the waitress a couple of suggestions and one of them was the pancakes I had chosen. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner all day! How cool is that and rare. They had a chicken and waffle special that was actually half a chicken ( pieces ) fried with Belgium waffles, powdered sugar and sweet strawberry butter served with their signature sweet and spicy sauce. I'll be honest when I had seen someone else get their plate I was surprised. It looked absolutely incredible and well tremendous. On their specials they had banana pudding pancakes or waffles, this also sounded amazing. It had walnuts, butter and powdered sugar and definitely banana. I am most certainly glad that I chose this as it was incredibly. Super fluffy, flavorful and the banana was not overwhelming there was a perfect balance of flavors. There was a sauce on them that I assume was the banana pudding. It was light and just enough to not overpower the pancake itself. We had also ordered croissant French toast and my son absolutely loved them. They were crispy on the outside yet fluffy and flavorful with a fantastic texture topped with some powdered sugar. Some ordered hash browns, these were also delicious and homemade with a great texture and the portion like all the other dishes pretty large. We had all tried the biscuits and gravy. These too were delicious with such a nice balance of flavors. The biscuits indeed homemade. We were all very pleased with everything. Some eggs over easy and bacon cooked perfectly. The coffee honestly the best I've had in years. I'm a coffee drinker and I cannot figure this coffee was outstanding! I had four cups and wish for more ha ha. Best of all I must compliment the service. I have not been to a restaurant of any sort with such attentive service, quality service as we received here in years. The waitress kept refilling my coffee and water, brought my son more soda ( even a container to take his home ) asked everyone if they needed anything at appropriate times and was extremely kind and considerate. There were only 2 people ordering at the counter so I used the ladies' room real quick while my husband reviewed their menu. The water at the main sink was not running at all so I could not use it to wash my hands. Luckily, I carry a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol with me so I just used that. I hope the female employees have a different restroom because they wouldn't be able to wash their hands either The lady that took the order was a little distant / disinterested / zoning out, polite but not very friendly like she's rather be somewhere else. We got our fountain drink first and waited for our order to be prepared: Culver Deluxe double meal with a side order of large onion rings. Total was about $19. It took about 10 minutes and the To Go busboy gave us our food, he was pleasant, polite, even smiled and thanked us for visiting. We left and had our food on the drive home - the Culver Deluxe was made well. It tasted fresh and the veggies were crisp. The large order of onion rings were crunchy just like we wanted them. And the crinkle fries were a great addition to complete our fast food craving. If I didn't visit the restroom, my rating would be higher. Also, staff allowed a non service animal (looked like a poodle mix) on a leash walk around the ordering counter area. I like pets but not near my restaurant orders. Maybe there should be a sign on the door to prevent that. Anyway, I hope the women's restroom faucet issue is resolved soon since that is major health and safety issue. Not sure if we'll be back again, but I did submit my main concerns to the Culver survey so maybe they'll contact me about it.
