We were greeted upon arrival, and seated shortly thereafter. Our server, David came over and spoke to us about the menu selections. We were extremely satisfied with his service. I was truly impressed with Lou, who I assume was operating in a managerial capacity. He went from table to table checking in with the guests to find out if anything was needed. He removed plates of finished food from tables, and even explained the desert options to us. Well done. The food was delicious! I usually have to add salt to my food. I did not have to add anything here. The food was perfectly seasoned. We all enjoyed our choices. I would highly recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

Yet the music was exceedingly loud, even for a bar, and we were unable to hear each other for the most part during dinner. The lighting was dim to the extent that it was nearly impossible to fully appreciate the aesthetic component to our food. Perhaps lunch is a better time to visit. It needed garlic, parsley, and salt at least! i also ordered lemon pepper seasoning on the fries ($1.50 up charge) but they just gave me plain fries. the fries were soft but that's how i like them. the mango peach lemonade was not overly sweet and didn't taste artificially flavored. the cookies were a good way to end the meal. they were soft and chocolatey but could have used a little more salt to mimic a buttery flavor. i recommend checking your order thoroughly before you leave because we were missing our ranch, banana pudding (they ended up being out), and my fries weren't seasoned. also because i ordered online and used apple pay, it didn't ask me for a tip, which i felt bad about so we ordered cookies when we got there to leave a tip on. something to look out for when online ordering. i didn't go in but my partner said it's a small space so maybe better for take out but they do have a bar and some seating.

This was my 1st visit and I was very impressed. It's a small place but at the same time it has a very big atmosphere. I loved the spacious booths....they were very comfortable. I ordered the Peaches special and it was very delicious. The only thing that keeps me from giving it a 4 or 5 star is that they do not cater to those with dietary/health (diabetic) needs. I asked for a diet drink and was told they do not have diet drinks. I also believe they should make wheat/whole grain waffles, French toast or pancakes. Other than that.....keep up the good work. This place is not to be trusted with reservations. We called 3 days prior to reserve a party of 10 for my girlfriend's bday lunch only to get there on time and be forced to wait an hour for tables to become available. Restaurant staff did not at all appear apologetic or offer any type of compensation for the inconvenience. Several small tables were available scattered throughout and yet they failed to account for a party they had known about for days. It was highly unprofessional and I will not be going back. They have this dish called the shrimp and grits was amazingly delicious. The food was served hot and fresh. Only thing was it took forever to get our food roughly over an hour. I know it's because the food was well prepared as order was put in so it's completely understandable but I was really hungry lol. It's a nice, clean and pleasant environment. The staff was really nice and being this was my first visit, my waitress explained to me their top selling meals. I recommend this place. Food is great! We came to Chicago to visit President Obama's Presidential Center and wanted to try a new breakfast/brunch spot and after watching Peach's restaurant featured on CBS Saturday Morning we knew this was the spot. No micro salad on top. No arugula for a garnish. No lobster, crab, or fancy meat on top under a specialty drizzle. Although a nice sauce that had a honey mustard flavor came on the side, the light crust on the tomatoes made them nostalgic. My grandmother used to fry hers lightly and to a crisp like these. On the chicken sliders, these were a hit. The chicken wasn't mostly seasoned crust but rather seasoned chicken. I had scrambled egg and Swiss cheese on the sliders with a light sauce that didn't overpower the sandwiches. And the buns were like buttered rolls. It's a small cafe with nice seating for solo, tables for two, and maybe one or two parties of 4-6. It is not for a party bus brunch crowd. And with the owner/chef being a one-man operation, this is a spot I recommend for chilling while waiting for food to come to the table.
