I had a small water leak from a dripping ice maker connection that ruined my kitchen, bathroom, and…read morehallway floor. There was, also, damage to the cabinet next to the refrigerator. I had Engineered Hardwood floors throughout the downstairs that couldn't be sanded and the insurance company claimed $10,060 in damages, and was willing to replace them, but only the one damaged 30-year-old cabinet. Try to replace a 30-year-old, builder's grade cabinet! Chivv Flooring said they could replace the floor with Luxury vinyl and include all new cabinets for about $4900 over what insurance would cover. I DID pick out the flooring i wanted, but Charles was the one who decided what cabinets and backsplash to get. I never saw more than the photos that he texted me until they got installed. That was OK, since they were acceptable once I actually saw them. Just wish I had more control over the decision. They came out and installed the floors and the cabinets, but the drywall repair and, apparently, the plumbing was extra. His drywall crew replace a 2' x 1' section and a 3' x 1' section for $400. There was a section behind the sink with some black mold damage that he wanted to charge me an additional $200, so I did it myself. they wanted an additional $50 to paint those two areas. I told him I'd do that myself, too. He had a plumber that was supposed to move a gas line back into the wall so I could push the oven closer to the wall. This was supposed to cost $650 extra. He wound up putting a shutoff valve on the pipe and cutting a hole in the drywall to stuff the flexible gas line into. Now, I find out that the $650 was also supposed to cover hooking up the sink, a new toilet, and reinstalling the vanity they removed to put the flooring in. I was under the assumption that that was all part of installing the sink and the floor in the bathroom. It was never mentioned at the time. I had a plumber come out on an unrelated claim, that replaced a section of copper pipe in my ceiling who only charged me $200. I thought $650 was a bit extravagant considering what he did. Once they were done with everything, I'm finding probably a dozen pieces of unused, cut tile scraps from the backsplash laying in my back yard, and scraps of other paper and building materials in my front yard. They left behind a bag of tile grout. I guess I'm supposed to use that if I ever have to replace the new tile I had installed in the bathroom There is cement they used to level up the floor surface before installing the flooring splashed over the threshold of the door going into the garage. There is a large gap next to one of the cabinets that should have been at least caulked to fill in the space. The caulk they applied around the rest of the cabinets was sloppy, at best. To make matters worse, I got a call from the restoration company who dried out the floor before any replacement work was done. He told me they would have replaced everything, including cabinets, and made everything whole for the price the insurance company quoted. The first guy I talked to from their company said they wouldn't include the cabinets. I wish I could include photos of some of the problems that I mentioned, but apparently YELP doesn't allow you to do that

I'm a yelper so I was scared of the reviews but a friend in construction recommended me this…read morecompany so I thought I'd give it a try since the price was 50-65% less than 10 companies I got quotes from. Went to the warehouse and picked the specific slab I wanted - this is important. You should go and see in person all the materials and pick THE slab you want because granite is a natural material and it varies a lot from slab to slab. I even discussed with Vanessa the way I wanted the pieces cut so that some imperfections would be less visible. If you have a rough estimate of surface area and shape it will help you get a better quote. Once you put the deposit they will come take measurements, and the whole process took about 2 weeks. Service men called before coming both for measurements and installation and they were on time. The installation was great, everything fit perfectly and the seam was very minimal and blends in really well. The granite turned out beautiful. For the price I think the service was amazing. Only con is that their inventory is not very large and if you are looking for a lighter or less busy pattern, they are rare and they might not have it. If you are flexible in color/pattern you might find something you like. They also have limited quartzite options for ~60$/sqft.

I really have no idea what those negative reviews are talking about. I've used this business 3…read moretimes and the product is nothing but exceptional. You are not going to find beautiful counters at this price anywhere. The girls in the office are helpful and nice. The install is quick and precise. I absolutely recommend this business to everyone I know. Don't listen to those jerks posting bad reviews. Contact me if you have questions about this business. (I do not work for them, but am a costumer that uses them over and over).
