We were driving down the main interstate from out of town and decided spontaneously that we wanted to go to taste some wine somewhere on our route. I broke out yelp and started searching while making the way to our destination. I saw this place had great reviews and even better, took us off course only a few minutes. The vineyard itself is comfortable, quaint and family operated. The best part, the wine was so good we became wine club members! We ate a charcuterie board which complimented our wine tasting. I'm so happy we found this place! We've received at least a couple shipments of wine since that trip and every bottle is awesome!!!! We're so excited to of found such a great winery!! Join the club! This is by far the best winery in the central coast in my opinion. Logan, Jessica and the kids are a great team and the family feel and great service are only beaten by the quality of the wines. I'm addicted to their Pinots and Chardonnays but the blends are my wife's favorites. This is quaint, old school wine tasting at its best. Just 30 seconds off the 101 at Los Berros between Nipomo and Arroyo Grande. Some weekends involve live music and food trucks on their cool patio. read more

It's been a busy year, but I wanted too finally get to saying how impressed I was with Peacock Cellars. When all the wineries where pretty much booked or couldn't accommodate our large party, I called Peacock and they said they could do it. No dogs allowed. Seriously? This was our last stop on Sunday after a wine weekend where our dog came with us to every stop. We had just ordered food from the food truck when an employee ran over and told us dogs were not allowed on the premises. It's all outdoors! We had to cancel our food order and leave. This is a fantastic family ran winery! Its a husband and wife duo and even their kids are apart of the winery (daughter made the label for the Barrel select). They are fairly new and still have a closed tasting room, but appts are available. However with that said the market across the street sells their wine as well (not sure if they offer tastings). Some of my favs are Bombshell Zin (limited edition), Sangiovese and Barrel Select. Not only does this winery have awesome member pick-up parties, they also have classes. Their most recent was canning applesauce and apple pie filling and making caramel (BOMB). They also have a wedding venue that is absolutely beautiful. Overall this is a fantastic place and I highly recommend checking it out!! read more

This is a great find off the beaten track (Paso). I have been a member for the past year and like all their wines. The atmosphere is casual with plenty of open seating and the owners and staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Several of my favs are the Tempranillo, Renewed Strength (Bordeaux blend) and the Chard. The fact that this winery is family owned is very evident, nothing like the corporate run wineries in No. Cal! Do yourself a favor and stop by and check it out, you just may be in for a pleasant surprise :) read more

A wonderful Small locally owned winery, a number of wines to taste in commodious surroundings. All 6 Wines that we tasted were all above average I think, a small cheese and cracker plate as well. Delicious Italian varietals. Took Tempranillo on a Spain trip and it outclassed the local competition.

Their wine is amazing. The only thing that is disappointing is that they're not doing winetasting even for their wine club members. I know it's Covid but other places are doing it and that's part of the reason that we become a wine club member. Hopefully that will open up soon. Extraordinary wines! The wines will satisfy and provoke the most discriminating palate. Across the board between reds and whites of all varietals and blends, the style is a thick, luscious forward wine bursting with flavors. The 2016 Sangiovese is excellent. Not a fan of the Pinot Noir; I found it too heavy and too much oak. Bottom line is ready to drink high quality wines that compete with most high end Napa labels. I'd like to see a higher touch of refinement and elegance. Then they would be perfect! 93-94 point range on everything I've tried except the Pinot. And that's just me, give it a whirl. Peacock is a must visit place for visitors to the central coast and anyone searching for great wine. read more

What a great little place! We found this by acccident driving through to the campground we were staying at, and sure glad we did! They have a great little market with housing decorations and fresh produce. And, of course, the wine was delicious. Lauren was serving the tastings, and she was great as well! So welcoming and hospitable she even walked out onto the grounds to take pictures of us right before closing. If you're in the area definitely stop by this place. And if you're not in the area, this one is worth the drive. read more

Recently came here on a Monday with a small group to do a tasting. The woman who organized the outing is a wine club member at Peacock and raved about the wines before going. Every wine we tasted was pretty amazing, I was impressed! They have a wide variety of wines on their tasting flight, to please pretty much any wine preference you/group may have. Logan, the grower-winemaker-owner poured for us. I always love when you get to chat with the winemaker because their passion is always evident and fun to see/listen to. I ended up leaving with six bottles! I plan on joining the wine club in the near future. Excited to go back again! Totally worth it to schedule a tasting. read more

Remarkable Wines! We were truly blown away at our first visit to Peacock Cellars winery. We were not expecting for every wine to be out standing! From the "whites to reds".... What a treat that you are missing if you have not stopped by to taste. Their Chardonnay is so wonderful, its one of our favorites. Now as for the reds, well we are big Tempranillo fans and are in love with this fine wine! Of course all their reds are fabulous! Big bold bursting with favor and we could go on and on. So what to do when you find the perfect place to chill out and enjoy extraordinary wine on the coast! Yes, we joined their wine club members. We love to entertain and cook for our guests, now we are proud to serve Peacock Cellars and listen to the raves of how yummy the wine is. I've been a wine club member at Peacock Cellars for about 4 years. This family owned "hands-on" winery is awesome. I brought my son and his wife from out of state and they joined. They brought friends who were visiting and THEY too joined. So, that being said, they have great wine, expert information to educate those of us new to winemaking, and a beautiful and inviting venue. Every person on staff is helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming. I look forward to the events they host throughout the year and of course, the wine shipments are always a delight to receive! Peacock Cellars is a boutique, family- run winery with some of the best reds I've ever tasted. Their new tasting room and produce stand are really great.
