From the moment I walked in, he had an attitude. I was told to come back two hours later, and thankfully Eduardo helped me. He was professional, patient, and genuinely kind. The first vehicle available smelled like it had been marinating in regret and bad decisions, so Eduardo immediately went out of his way to find me another one without making me feel like I was asking for the moon. Then Henry came back and took over. Instead of supporting his employee, he was rude and disrespectful to Eduardo--who was simply doing an excellent job. It was embarrassing to watch. One minute Henry was trying to be pleasant, the next he was right back to being hostile. To top it all off, he wanted me to walk over to a vehicle parked right next to several people who were under the influence. I told him I didn't feel safe, and instead of understanding my concern, he acted like I was the problem. A manager sets the tone for a business, and unfortunately Henry set the wrong one. Eduardo, on the other hand, is exactly what customer service should look like. He's the only reason this experience wasn't a complete disaster, and frankly, he displayed more leadership than the actual manager. I called to confirm the reservation, and Ben, the owner, verified everything and honored the quoted price. I arrived shortly before closing, feeling stressed and overwhelmed, but Ben was incredibly kind and accommodating from the start. I rented the car from Sunday, 4/19 through Saturday, 4/25. Throughout the entire process, Ben was honest, transparent, and genuinely helpful. He truly went above and beyond and was a lifesaver during a difficult week. When I returned the car with my daughter and planned to Uber home, Ben kindly offered to drive us instead. My daughter had recently fractured her foot and was limited in mobility, so his kindness meant even more. He has a very humble, fatherly presence and made a stressful situation much easier. I would highly recommend Stop-N-Go Rent-A-Car to anyone in need of a rental car, and I will be referring others to Ben. First, they personally picked me up from the airport and found me a car that worked. The transaction was hassle free and the entire week was stress free and I never had to worry about anything. They even drove me back to the airport after the car return. Their rates are very competitive and often times better than the big companies. If this would've happened at a different neighborhood/location, I assure you that there would be a lot of complaints due to the long wait. We got a Honda HRV, which was in great condition and was clean. We hope that they've hired at least another associate for this location. Kudos to the hardworking gentleman at the location. The following day, my family and I were already completely packed and loaded into the vehicle, ready to leave, when the dashboard showed that the vehicle had only 1% oil life remaining. This immediately concerned me because we were about to drive approximately 250 miles with my children in the car. I contacted Enterprise and was told that an oil change had been done prior to my rental and that I was good for another 1,600 miles. I did not feel comfortable taking that chance, especially with my kids in the car, so I ended up having to delay our trip and pay out of my own pocket for an oil change and filter. What happened next was even more concerning. When I took the Durango in for the oil change, I was shown that the oil level was low and the air filter was completely black. This directly contradicted what I had been told by Enterprise about the vehicle recently having its oil change and being good for another 1,600 miles. Because of this, our family trip was delayed, I had an unexpected expense that should never have been mine to pay, and most importantly, I was left questioning whether the vehicle I was given had actually been properly inspected and maintained before being rented out. I rented from Enterprise expecting a safe, reliable vehicle for my family. Instead, I received a vehicle showing 1% oil life and had to spend my own money to make sure it was safe enough to take on a long-distance trip. Enterprise needs to do a much better especially the branch manager Michael Lipert he is the one responsible for not checking to see if the car had been serviced he's the one that basically lied to me and said the oil had been changed you need to do bette! You need to inspect and maintaining their rental vehicles before putting customers and their families on the road. I am extremely disappointed with how this entire situation was handled and will seriously reconsider renting from Enterprise again.
