His requirements were: "I just need some cheap place to sleep, but everything is so expensive!" Enter Rebecca, at Now Voyager Travel, in Huntington Beach, CA. While I knew this booking would not be a 'big ticket' item for her agency, she still took the time giving me ideas while researching places online. She even suggested the YMCA! However, in the course of her online research, she found THE place - I mean THE PERFECT place for a 21 year-old guy to put his head down for the night! Not only that, this place looks amazing online; full of character, in the heart of the West Village in New York and 15 minutes away from his girlfriend, in Culinary School, in Brooklyn. The hotel is called The Jane and is ranked #229 out of 430 hotels in New York, PLUS the price was AWESOME! I had Rebecca hold the room immediately. One week later the hotel sold out. She was pleasant to talk to and she listened carefully to our needs and desires to create the best itinerary to make our first European trip memorable. She made several changes to our itinerary until it was exactly how we wanted it. In the end, the combination of private and group tours, transfers and transportation in Venice, Florence, and Rome worked out really well. The most recent and first time EVER family trip was a success because I contacted our travel agent, Priscilla, and told her what I wanted, asked for her suggestions, and what worked well for traveling with a toddler. Toward the end of January, this year, my family and I were able to successfully travel to Honolulu without headaches of traveling to and from the airport to the hotel and other destinations. For staying at a very beautiful hotel which was close within proximity of tourist attractions, food, and shopping, we absolutely got a steal for our 6-day trip! The first day we flew in, Priscilla booked our Luau at a discounted price to get us in the island vibes (which I personally recommend because I'm a very uptight, regimented person). The second day, we rested and tried multiple stops she recommended and it was an absolute hit because my picky toddler loved everything that was recommended! Third day, we planned a trip to see Pearl Harbor memorial with a travel shuttle she also booked for us. Due to our hotel having its own beach, we did not need to travel too far to the beach which is what we did the remainder of the trip.
