They said they did not have the required parts, so they came back the next day. On the second visit, they replaced the outside unit fan motor, which took only about 15 minutes. They charged me $150 for service call and the labor and $90 to ship the old parts. Even though the parts were covered under warranty, they charged me a total of $345 for labor. I believe these charges are excessive, especially considering that the actual repair took only about 15 minutes. They also seem to ask for additional charges at every step. I am very disappointed with the pricing and service.

Their quote was competitive, and Taras was knowledgeable, professional, and offered one of the best labor warranties compared to other companies we considered. When I mentioned that our old system was noisy, he identified that our return duct was undersized and recommended adding a bottom return base with a 4-inch media filter to improve airflow and reduce noise...something no other company suggested. During the installation, they even enlarged part of the return duct at no additional charge, even though it wasn't included in the original quote. Just two days after signing the proposal, the crew arrived early and completed the entire installation in a single day despite 95+ temperatures. They were professional, efficient, and left everything clean. The new system is noticeably quieter, the airflow has improved, and we're extremely happy with the results. The person I spoke to from King was rude as they continued to interrupt me and it felt like they were trying to get me off the phone. They also said that service in the past doesn't ensure service in the future and that they wouldn't be able to guarantee anyone could come look at the system for at least another 3 days and even then we would be charged the "emergency" rate. Fast service is one of their main claims on their website, as well as reliability. King installed this unit less than a year ago and it's already not working. So that's not what I would call reliable. I ended up not going King and called another HVAC company. They had someone out here in 2 hours and didn't charge an "emergency" fee.

The technician from crescent aire inc left and left our air conditioner disconnected from the thermostat. Not only that but according to the new company that arrived to fix the issue that crescent aire did not fix and according to HomeServe as well , they indicated to me that the last company that did some work in my air conditioner unit maliciously damage my unit and my condenser by putting too much coolant in maliciously damaging the condenser also they said the cables in the furnace were cut. Let me specify that my air conditioner was working perfectly with the exception that at times it wouldn't reach the desired temperature by two or three degrees only. Well the last company working in my unit was Crescent aire inc. prior to the one that fix it. We are requesting an investigation of this information received by HomeServe and the new company that fix the issue.
