First time here and went in for lunch. It appears to be a local hangout and not too busy but busy enough, which is nice. The menu was just right and not overwhelming. Ordered the beef + beechers sandwich with a side salad and it was very good as for the beer selection it was overwhelming for me but they have almost everything you can imagine. Overall I will definitely spread the word as a go to place when in the neighborhood and will personally go again in the future. I had the salmon sandwhich with a salad. The side salad was included with the sandwhich. I had a garden side salad with ceaser dressing, which I wasn't sure how it would turn out. The salad was AMAZING. Completely life changing. The Sandwich was EVEN BETTER! no lie :l I wouldn't recommend a large large party unless you completely rent it out, but defenitly a place for friends and adult family to hang out as a group. I gave a 4, instead of a 5 because there wasn't any diversity, not even in the staff. Left like I was the token, I definitely don't like that feeling. We recently moved to Puyallup/Tacoma area. Peaks and Pints was recommended by the friends we have in the are and MY GOODNESS does it deliver. We've had one sandwich and selected probably 24 beers to take home from the coolers. First, the pastrami sandwich we got was the daily special (not the regular from the menu) and was to die for. Perfectly toasted French roll encased tender, flavorful meat. My mouth is watering thinking about it. And the beer selection is superior and fun. The prices are extremely reasonable and have allowed us to taste test so many amazing PNW beers. We can't wait to keep coming back to this amazing place! read more

Service is friendly, quick and quiet. Good food and beer. There is no type of waiter or waitress vibe at all. Super clean bathrooms and everybody's really nice and chill. Ambiance -- 5 stars Selection -- 4 stars Service -- 5 stars Beer prices -- 4 stars Food -- 3 stars Food prices -- 3 stars Tilt -- 3 stars It's kinda tough giving these guys 3 stars because they're clearly working hard, they built a great space, they made great decisions to get things off the ground in great shape, and it's a great place to check out South Sound beers (and lots of other beers). In fact, if you're just coming for the beers, go ahead and assume you'll have a great time, and change this to five stars. Not sure what this space used to be, but in the newly bustling heart of Proctor (which always bustled, if not quite this much), they've taken a nice, long, high-ceilinged space and made quite a bar of it. Jukebox, big screens, lots of highboy tables, loooong bar, and coolers in the back full of bottles and cans. You can find hundreds of different beers, and no doubt thousand of elbows will bend here down through the years. Rightfully so. They pour a couple dozen taps, with a surprising variety of South Sound stuff. Pierce, Thurston, and Kitsap county breweries dominate the tap lineup. The coolers in back are about 35% WA beer, with progressively less emphasis on OR, CA, national, and international stuff. I am sure you can crack stuff here. There's so much space along the bar and down through to the coolers, you start to wonder how many people it would take to fill it. Everything is sparkling clean throughout, they really take care of the joint. We had Bale Breaker beer week beers, which were perfectly poured. The glasses are a bit small but the per-ounce beer cost is fine. Smaller pours let you try more different things, right? We ordered appetizers and the promise of the kitchen shone bright. The deviled eggs have a nice tangy heat to them, and are clearly fresh. 5 halves for $5.50. The bacon crab dip was fantastic, though it came with warm slices of bread, not crostinis as the menu offered (actually, it said "crostini's". If you gotta put in a needless apostrophe, at least serve what you're saying you serve...sorry, I am grouchy about this place). The sandwiches, shockingly, are where it fell apart. I say shockingly because 1111 runs this place's kitchen, and if you hit them up at their location, the sandwiches are not just good, they're memorable. Two of us ordered The Sherpa, which promised arugula, goat cheese, spicy mayo, and grilled french bread. It's a turkey sandwich with tomato and onion, but the other things make it stand out. It was insanely bland. Tasted more like a lunch meat sandwich on a Gai's roll than a professionally built entree. Whoever made it must have misunderstood all the quantities for the ingredients...and didn't toast the bread very long. The Roastmary was slightly more interesting; at least the rye bread on it was grilled enough to stay warm through the meal. Roast beef and smoked gouda are a good combination, but it still lacked in flavor. Two of us upgraded our sides to the soup, which was a very promising salmon curry. Dunking sandwiches in that gave them a little life. Annoyingly, the tiny cups of soup were $2.50. In the end, 3 sandwiches, 2 apps, and a few beers were close to $125.00. That's just nuts. The food quality was good, but the design and execution left them way lacking in flavor, and at these prices it's just not something to let slide. I am hoping it was just a training day in the kitchen and the sandwiches have way more character next time, because this feels like just the kind of place I'd like to hit again. Excellent service, didn't have me waiting around at the bar like other places. The selection of beer is incredible, you'll find something for everyone's palette including great ciders and coffee on nitro. The food menu is small but perfect in that they stick to basic delicious salad & sandwich. I had the devil eggs appetizer and Bleu Beet salad with grilled chicken and it was perfectly fresh, great taste and large portions. Hubby had the salmon ceasar and said the salmon was delicious. Food + two drinks was about $30. Then we went to the cooler and found some amazing beer options to take home so that ran up our tab a bit haha The experience was perfect, the space is nice and big so you don't feel crammed and you can find seating easily. The bathrooms are very clean and stocked, there is easy street parking and convenient rear entrance if you're doing shopping at the groceries stores nearby. I love going to craft beer breweries and it is my first choice when it comes to beer drinking but sometimes you can't beat a good tap house. You just can't beat going off of various local breweries and beyond all in one place. Not only that but sometimes you can only find exclusive beers in places like this where the breweries are often just production only. When I first moved to Tacoma I was kind of let down by the lack of tap houses but over time there are plenty in town which makes for great choices with beer. Peaks and Pints is one of these places and is situated in the Proctor neighborhood. This is a neighborhood that I am often in and I live close by it so it's very nice having a tap house so close and the drive is kept short. The beer selection is great here. Some of my favorite breweries are on tap here, like Holy Mountain for example. There are other alcoholic drinks to choose from as well like ciders and kombucha(which is what I had). Virtually all beers I saw on tap here are local. Peaks and Pints also serves food which is great! I love to get some eats when I'm drinking! I had their Orleans sandwich which I really enjoyed! I upgraded the side which would have been chips to a soup. The soup I had was a kind of spicy Thai peppered with chicken and rice. It was perfect for the cold, rainy day that was unfolding outside. Peaks and Pints also has a large selection of bottled beer. Much of the selection is local but there are some beer brands that are out of state as well. I really enjoyed what was offered here and I am looking forward to many returns! read more

The salmon spread was tasty, perfectly seasoned and even had a little kick to it! Super yummy! My only complaint is the sourdough crustinis were super crisp and stale, basically non edible. Pretty sad I have to leave this review. Usually wanted to stop by to not only buy a pint or two but grab a six pack or two for the weekend. But to say service here is completely trash is an understatement. Every time for the past 5 times service is getting worse and worse... bad thing is it seems every time there is more bartenders. Service was so bad I sat at the bar for 25 minutes without anyone asking if I needed anything(empty glass). Even though the bartenders walked past multiple times. I totally understand that people get busy but it's a simple task to ask if you're doing okay. I had 2 six packs ready to check out and waited another 10 minutes and decided to put the beer back and leave cash for my pint and still wasn't helped... sad to say I will not be going back nor will I recommend to anyone... sad because the sandwich's and beer selection is good.. read more

I absolutely ADORE 1111 so I was really excited to find this place on Uber Eats. We ordered 4 sandwiches that sounded super tasty and some Gorgonzola dip. Sadly one of our sandwiches was completely missing. The others that arrived were delicious but had very little meat and other topping compared to how much bread there was. After 1111 this was a sad comparison. The Gorgonzola dip had delicious toasted bread to dip in it but the dip was oddly cold. Not sure I'll try this place again but the Peterson Bros will get our business at 1111 for sure! read more

We were excited that y'all were open but the lady behind the bar made sure to let us know REPEATEDLY that we were to not open the ciders we just purchased in the bar. It wasn't clear that we weren't supposed to open them in the bar. Look, we don't know about Washington state liquor laws but a little patience goes a long way. I get that you're just trying to do your job, but we left feeling like degenerates after we've been supporting you since you opened.
