The Bryant was a fantastic dining experience from beginning to end. The atmosphere is upscale yet comfortable, making it a great place for a special occasion or a nice night out. Our server was excellent--friendly, attentive, and very patient with our group as we took our time ordering and spent quite a while catching up at the table. We never felt rushed, which we really appreciated. The drinks were well made, and the food was outstanding. The lobster mac and cheese was one of my favorites, with large chunks of lobster and excellent flavor throughout. My only minor critique is that I would have liked the cheese sauce to be a little thicker, but that's a small detail in an otherwise delicious dish. The creamed spinach was hands down the best I've ever had--rich, creamy, and incredibly flavorful. We also tried the seared sesame tuna and the crab-stuffed shrimp, and both were excellent. Everything was cooked perfectly, fresh, and beautifully presented. There is plenty of free parking, which is always a plus. They also have outdoor seating that appeared like it would be pet friendly, although I wasn't able to confirm that with the staff. Overall, The Bryant exceeded our expectations with outstanding food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it. read more

I wanted to love this meal, but it was a major disappointment. The French onion soup was excellent and easily the best part of the experience. The Caesar salad, however, was a different story. For $34, I expected a dressing with some depth and flavor. Instead, it tasted overwhelmingly like olive oil. The anchovies I specifically requested were the only thing giving the salad any character. Without them, it would have felt like eating lettuce coated in oil. I understand they make their Caesar in an old-fashioned style, but a creamy Caesar would have had far more flavor and balance. When I mentioned my disappointment, I was simply told, "We make it old fashioned." The soup was great. The Caesar was a 2/10 and nowhere near worth the price with the up charge. We had an amazing experience at The Bryant in Huntington! We came in without a reservation for my daughter's birthday, and the host couldn't have been more accommodating--he got our whole family seated right away and set the tone for a perfect night. We started with a few appetizers, and honestly, they were so good we could've stopped there and been happy. The white pizza was incredible--perfectly crisp with a rich, creamy ricotta that just melted in your mouth. The Italian charcuterie board was next level: soppressata, prosciutto, burrata, fresh honeycomb, apricots, and olives... every bite was better than the last. Absolute top-tier. I also had a martini that was served quickly and made perfectly--smooth, cold, and exactly what you want to kick off a great meal. For the main course, everything continued to impress. I had the Chinese Oriental salad, which was bursting with flavor and super fresh. My daughter's steak was cooked to perfection, exactly how she wanted it, and my son's chicken sandwich was just as impressive--juicy, flavorful, and done right. Dessert sealed the deal. The fried Oreos, key lime pie, and apple crisp were all outstanding--each one better than the last. Our server, Evan, was phenomenal. Super attentive, always on point, and made sure our table stayed clean and everything flowed smoothly. You can tell he really cares about the experience. To top it all off, they sang Happy Birthday to my daughter, which made the night even more special. We always have a great time at The Brian, but this visit was truly top shelf all the way. Update: Came back a few years later, and my experience was much improved! Our waitress and waiter were really friendly, and provided perfect recommendations for my friend and I last night. I enjoyed the Sweet heat drink (we had 3 each it was that good), and the specialty pizza. I am glad that I gave this place a second chance. read more

We tried The Bryant for New Year's Day Brunch. It's a beautiful restaurant with very attentive staff. We started off with mimosas, I asked if mine could be made with pomegranate instead, and the waiter was able to accommodate the order with no issues. I went with the Farm Eggs, it comes with two eggs any style and home fries. I also ordered the Challah French toast to satisfy my sweet-tooth. Good thing I did because when the farm eggs arrived, it was a very small portion. My husband ordered the steak and eggs. We finished off with regular hot coffee, they didn't have oat milk, so I had regular milk and prayed my Lactaid pill worked. The only milk alternative they had was almond milk, but I'm allergic to it. Would probably try out their dinner options in the future. read more

We celebrated the birthday of a family member in one of the private rooms here at The Bryant and had a wonderful time. Inside, the restaurant is a beautiful space, with a healthy buzz that makes for a fun ambiance. Service was fantastic throughout. The servers and manager stopped by regularly to ensure all was well, and the courses arrived at our table with great timing. Since our group was on the larger side, I appreciated the generous serving sizes. Nothing bums me out more at a communal eating affair than getting only three pieces of fried calamari after the plate's made its way around the table. Speaking of fried calamari, they were perfect. It's one of my favorite appetizers, but it's hard to find a place that doesn't somehow end up with some chewy or greasy pieces on the plate. Here, they were hot, fresh out of the fryer, and tender. For me, these were a standout, but everything else from our meal was enjoyable. I came here for lunch on a Thursday. It was crowded but there were still tables available, so we were seated quickly. It's a very nice establishment. The wait staff is wonderful. I ordered the Bryant burger. Wow! It was fabulous! I ordered it medium well and that is exactly how it was cooked. My friend ordered the same but medium rare, and it was cooked exactly medium rare. There was a generous amount of melted blue cheese on the burger, which was delicious. Then it was smothered with a carmelized onion jam, which was the best ever. On top of that was arugula with a light dressing. I removed the arugula and ate it on the side like a salad. French fries came with the burger. They were hot, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They remained warm until the end of our meal. I would definitely recommend this place and hope I have the opportunity to return soon. read more

I had really high hopes for this restaurant because it's part of the same restaurant group as Hendrick's and Bar Frites, which I really like. I was very disappointed. My husband and I had a reservation for 6:30 on Sat night. When we come in it's jam packed and the greeter rudely told us that despite our reservation the only table for us was in the sun. My husband I said we burn easily and didn't want to be in the sun. They said it would be a significant wait then. They also rudely said the sun would set in 20 min which isn't true for this time of year. We went to the bar to wait and the bald bartender was very nice and courteous and the drinks were good. We were seated after 20 min near the bar in really uncomfortable seats with no padding. The waiter was nice but seemed stressed. There were a few events going on and we got the impression the restaurant couldn't handle it. The women's restroom even had a few stalls with no toilet paper and the paper towels were overflowing the garbage. At this price point I thought that was really careless and low class. They also barely came around to fill our water glasses and the glasses were small. The food also left a lot to be desired. We ordered the burger and filet mignon medium and they came almost well done. The quality of the food seemed good but the cooking careless. The Brussel sprouts were chewy like they weren't cooked long enough and the filet was burned. The burger was good but said it included cheese, but then they charged us extra for the cheese. They removed the charge after we asked about it but seriously? I have no desire to go to this restaurant ever again. What a disappointment. read more

Came for dinner and drinks last night. We started by the bar and it's a beautiful long bar with delicious drinks! I got the berries with jalopeno tequila and like Juice, I forget the name of the drink. Very delicious! For apps we shared the calamari & truffle pizza, both very good. For my main I got the steak frites and my husband got the halibut and we shared. The halibut was delicious. Buttery and lemon with asparagus and mushrooms - yum! Ww have passed this place several times on our way to Walt Whitman mall. I believe this is on the former TGI spot. Finally stopped in and was not disappointed. Very nice bar with terrific cocktails. The menu has weekly specials and the rest something for everyone. Salads, pastas, pizzas, meat and seafood dishes Oh My! My fave was the Famous French Dip. This consisted of thinly sliced roast beef on a baguette with au jus, absolutely mouthwatering!!! Our server Juan was absolutely tremendous. He was friendly, efficient and engaged beautifully with my 3 year old Granddaughter. We went back a second time and enjoyed again the terrific food, drink and Juan to take care of us. Been here on several occasions, the food is always very good. Service is also good, the waiter was attentive but not breathing down your neck to turn the table over which was nice for a Saturday ( also my Birthday). There is music but not overly loud and you can still hear the person next to you. Only drawback is some tables are small and chairs are small and not very comfortable. Highly recommend the robiola pizza or the prosciutto ( not a huge red sauce person). I had the halibut which I've gotten a few times- also very good. Everyone loved their dishes as well. I came with a large party on a Saturday night and it was very well run with a very lively atmosphere such as when it was a TGI Fridays lol. Also there is a real bar scene as well. The food is above average but a little pricey with a few menu. I enjoyed steak as well as the truffle fries. Tuna tartar was really good and burgers were average but pricey at $28. We ordered several things from the menu, including the octopus and grilled calamari for appetizers and was absolutely blown away by how tender the octopus was. We would've ordered 10 of them if we didn't want to order everything else. I had the burger for my entrée and also had my husband house for two. One of my favorite things was the fries, it reminds me of Belgian fries. It was so crispy. I couldn't stop eating it. we had the asparagus and brussels sprouts for sides which was cooked perfectly. To top it all off the dessert was really delicious. I had the apple tart which came with vanilla ice cream that wasn't too creamy. It was just perfect. We decided to celebrate valentine day a day earlier (seems like everyone else had the same idea), even though it was extremely busy we were seated right away. Service was great even with the two little hiccups we had. We had an incident with our cheese & salami board which was surprising for a restaurant of this caliber however it was addressed immediately. Even the bus boy was very well-trained. What I liked was they not only collected our plates after each course but cleaned our table. Oh yes, their service pace was perfectly sedated. The food 4 stars. Sautéed spinach. It could be 5 stars if my sautéed spinach was not oily. It was my issue since I am a oil hater. Lol! My in laws are in town and I chose The Bryant because of nostalgia. I took my wife here on a second date when it was TGIFs back in the day. She told me on the first date she was my age at the time, 24 years old. We get carded at the bar and they refused to serve a 20 year old... My child bride wife and I arrive early. We check in at the front desk and make our way to the bar. It was a rainy Saturday night, we ordered two glasses of wine and are loving the vibe. The bar is in the middle of the dining room, very nice looking aesthetics. My in laws arrive, we're seated and are given menus. I see the Saturday Night Special, Prime Rib. I ask the price, it's $65 and ala carte. Hmmm.. We'll start with the calamari and baked clams. For my entree, I will have the Rigatoni Bolognese that's described with a 6 hour braise of veal, pork and beef sauce. The starters were very good. The calamari was cooked properly and there were no complaints on the baked clams. My entree arrives. What in the HELL is on my plate?? My sauce was over cooked, it was thick and didn't coat the pasta very well. Speaking of the pasta, its from a box and undercooked. So what was served to me was a $26 plate of undercooked boxed pasta with overcooked bolognese sauce. My wifes steak sandwich was more like a bread sandwich. It was a large, rubbery piece of bread that might of been microwaved. My wife said the small steak portion on the sandwich was good. *Poll brothers, The restaurant is packed on a saturday night and you might think everything is great. You really need to spend some time on the food quality and portion sizes because what we were served last night was sub par. read more

Delicious! I've been meaning to come here for a very long time but just never found the opportunity to come until recently. The place itself is beautiful and it's a great date night spot. It does get busy so plan accordingly. The food - wow. The pasta, the grilled calamari, the dessert, wow. So good and honestly exactly what I expected from here. Everything was just so flavorful, you could tell it was cooked with care by chefs who knew what they were doing. Everything was just perfection. Service of course was great. I did have to push my reservation last minute by 30 minutes and got a bit of a snippy response, but they did it for me...Aside from that little incident, definitely recommend coming! read more

Nice layout although noisy and friendly enough staff. Place was pretty empty as it was early but a family with two kids where the adults kept standing were seated next to us. The food was underwhelming. The 26.00 burger was extremely small, more like a slider. I asked for a side salad instead of fries but it was just lettuce, nothing else. I inquired and was told that's how their salads are. Husband's eggs Benedict was very runny (more so than the average benedict) and hash browns were way over cooked. Wouldn't return. read more
