HONEST REVIEW Was looking for a place to do a fill, went here due to all their good reviews. Was told I couldn't do a fill for the design I want she said I had to get a whole new set which was fine. But then she RIPPED off my old nails with a nail tip. The design was exactly what I asked for. I love the design and shape. But my nails are a little chunkier than I would like. I dont hate my nails I just would not return. I paid $95 for my nails before tip for reference.

After going here for years with my daughter, I'm so disappointed with the way the male worker Tevin reacts when there are issues with his work. The ladies are amazing but after today I will not be going back. I had said my nails were more round than I like and he said "oh you want square" but I said it'll be fine. My nails were glued to my skin I couldn't get it separated so one of the ladies said she would fix it. As they were getting fixed he came up and said what's wrong with your nails I said "my skin is glued" he went on to tell me I've been giving him a hard time the whole time, I ask for something then complain, never come back and to get the F*** out, he doesn't need me there. I wasn't even speaking to him or complaining, but he was going off. The ladies were apologizing to me and telling him things in their language and I was just sitting there in shock. So disappointed in his actions. I hope he feels good about himself because we will not be going back. ** Edit to add the response the owner gave to my husbands review on Google. I'm in total shock that an owner would stoop this low. My daughter and I had been going to this salon since before the pandemic, they've done prom nails, graduation nails, our vacation nails and simple upkeep on our nails and never once a problem. Their true colors really showed with their responses and it's sad that this business reacts this way. ***Smart of the owner to delete his response.

Mai did my dip and did an AMAZING job, she took her time and we even had a very nice conversation about Dip, her technique reminded me of the place I used to go to!!! Hands down one of the worst manicures I've ever had. Sometimes I don't love my nails, but I never hate them. I hate these. The shape is bad. After asking for "more rounded" multiple times, I just gave up. The French tip is too thick, the accent green is shakey, uneven and has gaps. The top-coat is overflowing onto nearly all of my cuticles on the sides as well as the base. I wish that rather than being quiet bc I didn't want to be difficult that I'd just left with unfinished nails. Would've been easier to start over that way.

Update: Unfortunately, after going to Trinity for a year, I won't be going back. I am not sure if she is double booked or just trying to fit in walk-ins. I always make my appointments with her a few days in advance. The past 3 or 4 times I have gone, she has been 10-15 minutes late finishing up someone else and I have to ask for her to do the entire process. They like to hand me off to have someone else do parts of the process or take over the appointment entirely. Every time, I have to let them know, I made an appointment to have Trinity do my nails. This time she was 15 mins late, did the fill, then had someone else do the color. The color is thick, lumpy, and has bubbles. I am so disappointed. Trinity used to do an amazing job.

I cannot believe I finally found a fantastic nail tech! He was quick, courteous, and friendly! He reminded me of the nail techs in Seattle that I'm used to and sure enough, he's from Seattle! I have been here before with no complaints but this time it was worth noting for other potential customers. My pedicure including trimming my nails but they were cut straight across and barely filed. Three days later and I already have insane pain from an ingrown nail. I also got a full set but they look like bubbles. The acrylic is too thick. My cuticles were not trimmed eitherWhen the nail tech was cutting and shaping them, he didn't match the nail on the other hand and I have uneven lengths and shapes. Despite getting gel polish, the color is already chipping. He was also on the phone and another nail tech had to leave their customer to finish my service. Then all of a sudden, I was shown my total and shooed away. I will not be back. read more

I set an appointment here to get my nails filled and a trim I didn't get my nails filled and I didn't get a trim I didn't have to pay for it she didn't paint my nails and she told me she had somebody to come in after me nobody ever came in after me I just feel extremely insulted discriminated and I'm never going there again this is the worst snow shop I've ever been in in my life read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I asked them how much for my set they told me one price then tried to say her husband didn't see the 15$ worth of diamonds I wanted which was okay I thought then she put top coat on all my nails I let her know the ombré ones were supposed to be matte and she just painted over the topcoat . Not they are refusing to answer my calls or fix them today I called an hour or so ago and they kept hanging up on me . Not only are they UNPROFESSIONAL they aren't good business the first time they cut me I tried to let it pass but this last visit was unacceptable I asked for a refund since they couldn't do it today and they got so disrespectful I am shook. read more

Not sure why they have such great reviews. I asked for a two tone ombré type thing and got one color. And not even well done. Wasn't going to correct her and sit through an even longer service. So now my nails will look all streaky and bubbly on the first day of my new job. Gee thanx! I can't believe yelp has failed me read more

Went here for dip nail polish because the reviews were so hit or miss that I thought I'd give it a chance. When I asked if they were going to trim my cuticles they said it would be an additional $10, so I decided to pass. However, the nail tech then began to grid her nail sander into my cuticles, so much so that they began to bleed. She did not sanitize any of the equipment she used, and did not clean the cuts on my hand. I ended up with infected fingers. I was shocked by how unsanitary they were. read more

I'm visiting Lacey for a week. I got my nails done before I got here, but I was so unhappy that I took them off myself. I needed to get my nails looking decent again. For $42, I got a pearl manicure with gel polish. It was ok. The message could have been better. She attempted to give a back massage but clearly did not know how. My nails look better but not amazing. read more

I called a few places trying to get a group of 6 of us in and no one wanted to accommodate. I was ready to give up and called Pearl Nails after reading all the good reviews. It was no problem, we set up appointments for 3 at a time, in a row. I came in with a pretty picky group of individuals. They did an amazing job and fixed everything we didn't like. I have gone twice, once with my daughter and sister and once alone, while my husband has gone once and we both absolutely love Vi. We have found our person. I've been to plenty of nail salons and this one I fell in love with. They gave my daughter (who is 3 and was having a good week so she got a spa day with mommy) an exceptional experience, although I think it was the Cheetos that won her over. My mom & I found this place by mistake. We were headed to another place on Pacific Avenue. We decided to try Pearl Nails based on the reviews. They will not disappoint! Trinity was amazing! She made us feel so welcome and really took the time to talk to us and get to know us. My mom gets manicures once a year. Well she did such a great job we are already booked for next month! The customer service here is great, they don't rush you and they make you feel welcome. We found out this place is under new management and they are great. We highly recommend Pearl Nails and especially Trinity and Ann did a great job too. They also give out a stamp card too for $10 off so many visits. read more

Never fail me! This is now my regular nail spot. Techs are friendly and talk WITH you. I never feel like they're talking about me or other clients like I do at other salons. They're affordable and even have a stamp card; I've never seen this anywhere else. They are a clean and neat salon. Lots of pedicure, manicure, facial, etc. options. Best nail salon in town, in fact best nail salon I've been to, I work in Puyallup and live in Lacey so I've tried a few places there and Lakewood. This nail salon appeared to be very clean and I saw the staff cleaning the pedicure bowls and chairs. The price is the best I've ever experienced and I'll certainly be a return customer! We continued to sit for over 30 minutes without being updated by the staff on our wait time. When we were finally helped, we picked from the large menu of services. I'm on a budget and wanted something simple so I got the least expensive pedicure service (number 9 out of 9 spa pedicure packages) with regular polish. The staff asked me if I wanted to add anything and if I was sure if I wanted the cheapest service and if I wanted to upgrade to gel and I politely declined. My mom got the number 6 which is the 6th most expensive service. The staff again questioned her choice, encouraging her to upgrade and she also politely declined. I would say it crossed the line of being a salesman and borderlined heckling. Since we were taken so late, we ended up being on a time crunch. A few minutes into the service, my mom decided to downgrade her service to the same one I had so we could get out quicker. The staff once again questioned her, but this time they asked her three separate times if she was sure she wanted to change to the number 9. It rubbed both of us the wrong way. Besides the service which we found to be rude, the pedicure itself was good quality. The massages felt short but that might have been either because we told them about our time crunch or because they felt offended that we got the lowest service. Not sure if it was worth the $37 plus tip for the experience we had but my toes do look nice.

didn't get her name but it was the other young woman with the longer hair who did my nails. i…read morecould tell she was in a poor mood when she arrived compared to the other employees. when i was choosing my length for gel x i wanted the longer tips cuz i wanted them a bit shorter & not the medium almond tip. after she cut & filed them (BEFORE) painting them i mentioned i had changed my mind on the length & wanted them just a bit shorter. she then basically YELLED at me for changing my mind ... saying she could've just done the medium ones, grabbed the other medium gel x box & slammed it down.... i think that her comment was very unnecessary & very very rude. ive never had someone snap at me like that over a simple change of heart. it was so awkward to then have to sit there while she did them. i just wanted to leave i felt so uncomfortable & i will not be returning nor recommending this location.

This time the person who did my nails goes by Tevin and he did an absolutely an amazing job. Over there they will put in maximum effort into every individual nail until they are finished. They're also much more delicate with your finger/ nail throughout the process as if that was their first regulation. I saw that every nail technician working there were not only considerate and kind, but they also make it clear that they want their customers to be comfortable. last thing I really love how Tevin was a complete perfectionist throughout the whole process and now i can graduate tomorrow looking like the baddest b*tch thank you!!! read more

This is my favorite nail shop. I've visited a lot of places in the Lacey/Olympia area and they absolutely take the crown for the best shop!! I love getting my nails done, the owners are super sweet and they are kid friendly. I can't agree that enough my 6 year old loves getting her nails done and they treat us like royalty! I'm on a budget and wanted something simple so I got the least expensive pedicure service (number 9 out of 9 spa pedicure packages) with regular polish. The staff asked me if I wanted to add anything and if I was sure if I wanted the cheapest service and if I wanted to upgrade to gel and I politely declined. My mom got the number 6 which is the 6th most expensive service. The staff again questioned her choice, encouraging her to upgrade and she also politely declined. I would say it crossed the line of being a salesman and borderlined heckling. Since we were taken so late, we ended up being on a time crunch. A few minutes into the service, my mom decided to downgrade her service to the same one I had so we could get out quicker. The staff once again questioned her, but this time they asked her three separate times if she was sure she wanted to change to the number 9. It rubbed both of us the wrong way. Besides the service which we found to be rude, the pedicure itself was good quality. The massages felt short but that might have been either because we told them about our time crunch or because they felt offended that we got the lowest service. Not sure if it was worth the $37 plus tip for the experience we had but my toes do look nice.
