If I could leave no stars I would. I don't usually leave bad reviews, but I just had a really disappointing experience here. I got my nails done on Friday, March 20th, and by Thursday, March 26th, three nails had already popped off. I spent over $120, and when I reached out, I was told it would cost $50 to fix them which is honestly unacceptable. A quality set shouldn't be lifting, let alone fully coming off, in less than a week. I've been coming to this salon for years, but the quality has really gone downhill. At this point, there are only about two nail techs that do quality work T and Jesse. The rest of the staff seems rushed, the work lacks care and proper placement, and the customer service has become extremely disappointing. They were very nice. They sat me quickly for my pedicure. The price was good $50 for the highest option. Unfortunately they were all over the place. The floors were dirty. 3 ladies until I knew who was doing it. They had to find a different color 3 times because it was out. The lady accidentally burnt me with the hot stone. Her nails also scratched me pretty bad during the massage. At the end for sone reason the price changed to $60. I tipped $10. It was pretty busy and kind of small. I'm still looking for a nail salon, but this will do in a pinch. read more

Wish I could do. Zero stars !!!!The customer service was horrible. The vibe of the Nails salon was completely off. All I asked for was a soak off. The lady doing the pedicure was supposed to be soaking off my Nails, and move to a different client. So the lady upfront, who was the receptionist started doing my nails and started pulling them off while wet Acrylic was still on. I already had two broken Nails, and she ended up, cutting it even deeper, making it worse. THIS LOCATION NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. The girl in the pink. Not sure if this was her station, or she was just trying to be annoying. She would come over seeing that I was unattended to, and what slam drawers. Towards the end once I only had two Nails that I was taking off, she was trying to give me another Ziploc bag like she was gonna help me out, even though the whole time she saw, I was struggling by myself, and she did not care she was talking about me and her foreign language and mind. YOU. This had nothing to do with her. Once I got down to my last Nail. She was like wow, YOU took it all off I can definitely say they handpick who they want to give good customer service too. I'm new to the area and still looking for on one nail spot that I can consider my place. This is the closest place to me and I had a last minute dinner date scheduled and needed a fill-in. I decided to try them out. The sad that I had was almond shaped and by the time they completed my fail it was box shaped even though I ask for them to maintain my almond shaping. I could tell they had a hard time understanding what the different shapes were of nails so that was the first thing that bothered me. They are a lot of polish Colors available but not a lot of styles or designs. The place required masks and seem to follow Covid precautions. I was somewhat happy with my nails when I left except for the shaping thing but the very next day two of my nails started to peel off. I got gel polish and gel it's not supposed to peel off but it was like it was too thick and wet under the surface. All in all, in a crunch I might go there again and I know I won't be super happy with the job but I'm still looking for my nail salon home. read more

I've been here a few times and I'll be honest, their service has been inconsistent. With that said, since Kim became my preferred nail tech, I've been 100% satisfied! The first time she helped me, she had to correct a mistake made by a young man who attempted to give me the "coffin" shaped nails I asked for. Though he said he knew how, he couldn't get it right and I was furious. Kim came right over, took over, and made my nails fabulous! She accepts appointments, is courteous, professional, and is great at what she does. I will not allow anyone else in there to assist me. There are a few other technicians who have regular customers but I can't attest to their skill level. In sticking with Kim!!!! About the location, it's not very large and the decor is not very modern. They do have an extensive selection of standard and gel colors. They also offer some gel options with matching regular colors for your toes (I don't like gel polish on my toes!)They also offer various pedi options ranging from $22-$35. There is a young lady who does lashes but I didn't like it.....Too clunky for my taste! I only had my lashes done by her 1 time. They also offer waxing services and permanent make-up. I am soley reviewing based on my experience with Kim and nothing else. Before her, I probably would've given this salon 2 stars so that should say a lot about her. Thanks Kim! read more

Ana is extremely rude!!!! They make up their own prices depending on their mood and will argue with you when you ask why the prices aren't the same as the ones posted in their store. I asked for the $20 pedicure before we started and she wanted $25. She gave me a lazy 5 minute pedicure and proceeded to go sit down and play her phone . When it was time to pay i simply asked why was it that price and she began arguing with me saying that it was the price and she would pull up the surveillance and prove that's what I said ($25 isn't even a price option listed for their pedicure options btw) She then stormed off and said I was just like her daughter .. ok? Got my lashes done here and my eye was glued shut... the lashes were glued to my eyelid not my lashes when it was all done . I had to go home and remove them... came back to do my nails and the ladies are SO SO RUDE. Kim is the best nail tech there.... The lady who was doing my nails cut to down on my cuticle and they started bleeding and this was on 4 nails. My nails burning so she gave me a discount for a design... which isn't enough I should've even paid. My nails was pretty but the shape was terrible so I had to fix it myself and my nails started popping off after 5 days and they were 50 dollars. When I tell you this 30$ pedicure was some Bullshit. She hardly touched my feet. I had to tell her to clean under my nails. Overall a 3 star business rating. Not sure if Helen still works there, but she is my go to for pedicures. I like Tina also for nails because she shapes very well for Almond Nails. If they're not available I usually visit Lucy Nails which is their other location. The shop itself is out dated and doesn't have many color options as Lucy Nails. However, the pedi's are just as sanitary and the same packages just a little cheaper. They use and change out the plastic for the foot bowls and sterilize all equipment which is a must anywhere I go! Nobody has time for a nasty foot infection, Lol. Make an appt on the weekends and check to see if your preferred tech is working. They usually all have at least one day off. read more

I visited pearl nails 11/13/2018 and received a bacterial infection from my pedicure. I was cut multiple times and had to miss work due to the swelling, pain, pus, and overall discomfort. I went to the emergency room to seek care as my toenail had begun to rot off and lots of pus drainage. I was prescribed antibiotics and pain medication. Upon meeting with management, I was forced out of the building with neither management nor the technician acknowledging or taking responsibility for this incident. I'm warning you before you go. This place, Wow. Just wow. I never enjoyed nail salons before until I came in here. Every time I go in one the person always tries to rush and doesn't take their time to focus on me the client. These ladies actually remember your face and when you're their they ask what you want and don't pressure you into something you can't afford. Even the littlest of tasks they take care of you and pay attention to every detail and make sure you as the client are happy. I got acrylics from a lady who was very pleasant and funny. There was a slight language barrier so she didn't do the shape & length I'd asked for. Since I wasn't paying attention, she'd done a couple nails by the time I realized. But once I explained again and directed her a bit, she went back and happily re-did the others too, unlike techs [from other salons] who get frustrated when you correct them. Ok. So the first time I went here, I felt rushed during my manicure and pedicure. You are supposed to feel relaxed, but one person is working on your feet, one person is working on your hand, both sloppily I might add, and it's just not an enjoyable experience. But then I thought, "Well, if I don't want to spend all day in the nail salon and I want to get in and get out, this would be great." So I gave it a second chance after seeing they offered the newest, hottest trend in gel application, Axxium by OPI. They looked great for the first 20 hours, but began chipping and peeling like regular nail polish shortly thereafter. I've researched and read multiple articles about Axxium, and have come to the conclusion that this nail salon just doesn't have the slightest clue as to what they're doing (hence the girl training the other girl doing my nails.) Also, the technician didn't even take all of the pink nail polish off from my previous manicure, so you could see remanence of old polish through my new french manicure. And even though I told her one of my nails was starting to break and she might have to file or glue it before applying the gel, she told me "No," because the Axxium would just "take care of it." So what happened? Within 2 hours after leaving the salon, the nail continued to break underneath, messing up the new gel and cracking/peeling it away. Unbelievable. These people have no idea what they're doing. They are unexperienced, sloppy, and just trying to get money out of you. She charged me $5 extra for a "manicure with cuticles." Isn't that implied when you spend $30 for gel nails??? In 20 years of having acrylics, gels, silks, and manicures, and regularly I might add, I've never heard of such a thing! Save yourself the time and money and keep on driving when you see Pearl Nail. read more

Okay, so I am thoroughly upset and reporting this because I am truly bothered by my experience. I wanted to wait until after I went to the doctor, and I was right, I have a fungus after getting a pedicure from this place. I am so upset because I have NEVER had this happen in my life...and I am 40 years old. I have been to this shop a few times and never had this experience and prior to my last visit had always been happy with the service. However, the night I got the pedicure my toes started itching really bad and I felt a little burn. A few days later, I noticed the cuticle area started turning white and flaking. Then, I started getting sores on my feet. Then my toenails started falling off. I went to Walmart and CVS over a few months now to get OTC fungal medicine, but that really didn't resolve the issue. While my toenails did grow back, my feet have never properly healed and so over the past two weeks I have had trips to a podiatrist. The first time I went they took nail and skin samples. Then, a week later I went back and got the results and I still have this fungus. I was given Clarus spray, Kera Nail Gel, and an antibiotic to take over the next 30 days. So far, my copay and Rx costs have been $134.00! As a Managing Manicurist (Ohio State School of Cosmetology Graduate), I should know to what things to watch for; but, honestly, I work so hard it's nice to be pampered. Now, I am just so over this experience that I will just have to suck it up and get back to doing my own manis and pedis. Aside from that, I must remind you all to take your own nail care equipment and polish, or watch and see if the salon you go to is properly sanitizing their equipment (ALL of it!) before you dip your feet and let them use any files, clippers, etc. on you. The time it takes to recover and not wear pretty sandals is worth you taking the extra step so you don't have this experience. ***Response to Owner's Comments*** I would surely HOPE that NOW you are using the liners as you stated because that was NEVER being done at ANY of my visits last year. I had reported this issue for other customers and honestly forgot to file an official complaint. However, trust me, I will be doing so Monday morning against your company to ensure what you have written as far as the recent changes you've made is true. Also, my complaint is NOT the first, and while I am NOT going to get in a battle of words and repost of other complaints on your establishment, I am more concerned about what happened with me at your nail salon. If you are truly a certified/licensed managing manicurist then you would know your comments are FALSE about how long it takes for a fungus. Anyway, if you are NOW using liners and disposable files, etc. Great! Again, to anyone else that read these comments, please make sure that when you go in to this shop that what the owner has listed is indeed accurate. In the meantime, I will be reporting my incident and suggest that if anyone else has ANY concerns or issues that you do the same. For you to blame the customer, when this was my experience at YOUR shop, is criminal. If nothing else, I would have appreciated an apology over my circumstances, even if you did not want to own up to your part. I didn't come ask you for money or anything else, but simply said at one time, I was a happy customer and then something changed. It was my intent for you to see my review, recognize something needed to change, and take action so you this matter didn't happen again. Trust me, with your response, even with the changes, based on your response I will never return. How dare you! You have no idea the hell I have been through because of this ordeal with one of your nail techs, and you have the nerve to blame me!?! Again, I hope what you are saying is true as I report this matter and will be sure to make sure I do what it takes to ensure you treat customers right and this doesn't happy to anyone else that visits your shop. read more

I am been going to Pearl Nails for 12 years, after first moving to the Snellville area. I have since left Snellville and now live in Grayson. I am very satisfied with Pearl Nails. There have been some personnel changes through the years, but all and all they have maintained great service. I actually let no other salon do my nails. I have traveled back home to Georgia just to get my nails done by technicians that I don't have explain what I want. I travel a lot. I get my hands and feet done on a regular and eyelashes for special occasion. Never a bad experience. read more

My nails popped off 5 days after i got them done for $40 they want you to pay to get them fixed.so that means when the rest pop off tomorrow ill have to pay to get those fixed also then another $20 when its time for a fill in. 6 of my nails popped off 5 days after getting them done. I will not return an ill make sure everyone i know doesnt either. Plus this is the 3rd time in a week i had to get one fixed the second time i went it took the woman 30 minutes to fix one nail she was texting and talking on the phone while doing my nails so i kept having to sit and wait on her to finish on her phone.
