After moving 7 times in 8 years of marriage, we have changed Eye Doctors A LOT. It's always a pain to have to find all new doctors all over again after each relocation. After reading a bunch of positive reviews of Pearland Professional Vision, we made our appointments and are SO GLAD WE DID! We LOVE Dr. Gisbert! She is so personable and kind. She actually LISTENED to our horror stories from previous offices we have been to and reassured us that she wouldn't treat us the way other offices did. Looking forward to our next appointment. They will cancel your appt without calling you and blame it on "the system". Wasted 2 hours of my day today driving to and from my daughter's scheduled appointment only to be told to come back 2.5 hours later when they could fit us in. They screwed up, but instead of fixing it and squeezing us in between clients (which were given our spot) they decided our time was not valuable enough. Worst customer service experience in a long time!! read more

Third visit with Dr. Amie. It's easy to get an appointment that fits my schedule and like others have mentioned, it's so nice to speak to a live person when you call. I recently had to cancel an appointment at the last minute because I got a phone call telling me that a family member had passed away. The staff was so supportive and understanding and I was not charged for the missed appointment. They immediately scheduled me for the following week for the same day and time. Dr. Amie is very knowledgeable in her field and always explains exactly what she's doing, as well as why she's doing it. She is also very good about telling me what my insurance will cover and what I might have to pay out of pocket. Then she lets me choose what I want to do. I was able to come after work at 5pm and bring a hungry 4yr old. The staff was so awesome with my toddler and explaining my options. They were so efficient!! I am excited to know that they can take on my toddler as a patient! Great team and a great place to trust with your optical needs. Seeing Dr Amie every year is such a pleasure. Her staff is consistent, they remember small details about what's goin on in my life and genuinely care about their patients. They make picking out new frames a fun task with inviting you to try on every pair that you could want to try on as well as having the ability to special order basically anything for you. I cannot say enough about Dr. Amie Gisbert and her amazing staff! My wife and I have four children, and each and everyone of them adore her. She is always flexible with our schedules, always willing to accommodate, and always has a smile on her face. Her office staff goes above and beyond as well. I was recently out of town visiting family, I tore one of my contacts on a Saturday, called Dr. Gisbert's office and spoke to one of the girls. Within minutes, she had emailed me and had offered to fax a copy of my prescription anywhere needed. I had a replacement contact within an hour of my phone call! She goes out of her way to make sure her patients are as comfortable as possible, is super easy to talk to, and explains everything in detail so that it's easy to understand. Staff is reasonably polite. Not super friendly, but nice enough to complete a basic transaction with. The opthalmologist is very friendly. Eye exam reasonably priced. Wait never seems to be too long. Cost of the lenses is good. The frames are crazy expensive. $250 for some bent wire and plastic? Geez, no thanks. If you ask, they have a discount frame bin where you can get something reasonable (read: $50-$90). They earn top marks for that. I mean what really counts is the lenses. It's like buying a $50 iPod and sticking it in a $300 case. read more

Office staff was VERY friendly which is hard to come by nowadays. I had zero wait time and waited about two minutes in the room for the doctor to come in. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes on a Saturday. The only very minor downside is you have to order your contacts which take a week to come in, so be sure to have an extra pair handy just in case. I have recommended this place to my husband who now has an appointment next Saturday. I will definitely be returning!!! 5 stars is not enough for this place! read more

The doctor was kind, but her office manager did not reflect the same. We had difficulty working with the office manager to receive the 1-year warranty for my child's glasses. My wife and I had several exchanges with the office manager and were quite surprised at how she cared very little about the customer. Upon reading our original Yelp review, the doctor immediately responded and corrected the situation. She was very kind and quick to uphold the warranty. I have been in search of an Optometrist for three years that could develop a solution for my far-sighted vision. I have tried a single contact, reading glasses and lastly a progressive lenses over that timeperiod to no avail - they all have had major down falls. A couple friends recently mentioned they wore a single contact and they really like how well it has worked for them. I previously tried that and it irritated my eye and I could not see well up close or far away. Dr. Gisbert listened to the challenges I've had and like magic selected the correct single contact lense based on her experience, and BAM. I could see and as she said it would get better in coming days as my brain and eye sync up. Its now days later and I can see the world up close and afar without fumbling for readers or holding my phone at arms length to read. Clear vision and no irritation is what she delivered which three other Optometrists could not do. Its a very simple solution in the end. I feel its the combination of her experience and her knowledge of products she uses that made this a success story. Very skilled! read more

Dr. Gisbert and her staff are always wonderful. They have appointments on Saturday mornings which are very helpful for busy weekday schedules. They are always prompt...they basically take you for your work with the technician once you arrive. The office is also very clean and organized. Dr. Gisbert is very friendly and knowledgeable. She will explain vision care to you so that you understand how important it is and how you can play a part in maintaining good ocular health. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Amie Gisbert at Pearland Professional Vision. I have never met a more caring and personable doctor in my entire life. Not only do I wear glasses and contacts, but I have several eye issues, including dry eye. Dr. Gisbert has truly been a God-send in regards to my medical eye care. She is so knowledgeable and has helped me tremendously with my eye issues. She goes above and beyond and is very available to her patients. My entire family sees her, including my seven year old son. She is wonderful with children and her office is very kid-friendly. (It even has a little area for children to play in with a TV.) Her staff is also wonderful. Terrible customer service. I made an appointment 6 weeks prior because the doctor only was available on one day of the week. I thought I better reconfirm my appointment two days prior and they said the doctor left the practice and no doctors would take the appointment. So I would have showed up and really been mad. There a lot of Vision places to choose from, seems there is one on every block. However, there is only one Dr. Amy Gisbert. She is incredible. She has a great personality and truly listens and cares about her patients. I never once felt pressured to buy anything I didn't feel I needed. I felt she was conservative on treatment options. Her fees are reasonable and the service can't be matched. I could always be seen when needed and so nice to hear a live person answer the phone when calling. Unfortunately, we have moved about 1.5 hours away and I foolishly sought eye care at another eye doctor and I had a horrific experience. She was even able to help me over the phone with my issues. Since I receive eye exams yearly, I will gladly drive the distance to see her. Thanks for everything! read more
