I wanted to share my experience regarding my appointment at Pearle Vision on May 4th. When I called to request a later appointment time for that day, the representative informed me that the location was closed for Tuesday May 5th. They mentioned a text was sent notifying me of the closed date, but I never received any message about the closure. If I hadn't called to reschedule, I wouldn't have known they were closed, and this could have led to wasted gas and unnecessary time away from work. It was disappointing to see such a lack of concern for customers, especially regarding timely communication about changes or closures. read more

We went in for 2 appointments with the intention of buying 4pairs of glasses. As soon as we arrived, the receptionist gave us an attitude. When she gave us the tablet, her tone and her body language was as if we were bothering her. I simply handed her back the tablet and said we would go elsewhere because of her attitude. The receptionist should take a class on how to work with people or get a job where she doesn't have to be in front of the public. LensCrafters was happy to take our business. read more

The customer service at this place is ridiculous. Older white lady at the counter is rude and it's obvious she doesn't enjoy her job. Upon entering "Goodmorning, how are you" Lady at the front "are you on the books for this morning" In addition to ignoring greetings, everything I asked was ignored and she stated that they were busy today and we should be prepared to wait. If I'm waiting there's no point in making an appointment. When I asked how behind they were, she stated "I don't know. Why" .... At that moment Pearle Vision lost a customer. Forever. read more

From the moment I walked in they made me feel comfortable. I had my paperwork completed while the technician verified my insurance benefits. No pressure to get the eyes dilated like other places. They offer their retinal scanning service. Pricing was transparent. The Optometrist was very nice, patient and throughly examined my vision. Choosing new glasses with no pressure was absolutely enjoyable. Kudos to Cynthia for her knowledge of features to choose from while maximizing my insurance benefits. She was very helpful and professional from helping me pick the perfect frame throughout getting my order fitted. MAJORLY POSITIVE REVIEW! Long story short, the Atlantic Ocean took my glasses and I needed a new pair. This Pearle Vision location is PHENOMENAL. Store Manager, Cynthia Baker took the best care of me, she's been in the Optics Industry for close to 30 years! The customer service was how it should be PLUS MORE. I didn't feel like I was being pressured by a car salesmen. My main interest was the Essential Blue Series lenses and Cynthia educated me on Pearle's offerings and hooked me up with an amazing pair of glasses! My eye balls no longer hurt and I'm not fatigued by the end of the day for the blue light that comes from my computer screen. I'll only handle my Optical needs at this location, I found my spot. read more

The Optometrist and Staff were very pleasant in working with. The reason I wasn't able to provide 5 stars, is due to my appointment time not being met the initial scheduling due to the doctor being behind on appointments, and the rescheduled date was canceled due to the doctor having an emergency. The day of the appointment I was called back fairly fast upon my arrival, since all my paperwork had already been filled out. They also waived a fee for me due to the issues of the prior appointment. But I did wait a while to get assistance with pricing on a frame that I was interested in using my prescription for, she advised me she lost/misplaced the paperwork for my vision insurance. But she searched her computer and wasn't able to get logged in.so she then went to a coworker to check, all of which added to my extensive wait time. Overall: Great Location, Decent Staff, Needs more organization with appointments, and customers waiting in lobby in my opinion. read more

I've been a customer of this particular Pearle Vision since I was a little girl and they have always done an excellent job when it comes to assessing my vision and educating me on the health of my eyes. This latest visit was no different, although it had been a while since my last exam. The routine checks went by just fine, but Dr. Blom noticed something in my retinal scan and took the time to sit with me and listen to my concerns. There was no pressure to get my eyes dilated or to try new products, which I appreciated. Picking out frames was easy, although the majority of their selection included pricey designer frames and even with insurance, the cost of my glasses was over my budget. Still, I'm satisfied with the service and would happily recommend them to anyone in search of a good Optometrist. read more

The Doctor at the Wells road location is absolutely fabulous. The dr is very professional and tremendously pleasant. The woman that does the check in and answers the phone is just disappointing. She is rude, uncaring and disrespectful. If this location has lost customers, more than likely she is the reason why; not to confuse her with the other older Caucasian woman that does the check outs in the end, she is very pleasant as well. read more

I've visited the store several times for both myself and my children. All the staff that works at the store are great. The eye doctor is also great, she doesn't act stand off-ish like some doctors do. Maybe for the first time ever I actually enjoyed the visit to the eye doctor. The people on the other side who handled the glasses and such are also nice. Interesting story, they offer a warranty for like an extra $50 or something which I got for my teenage son. I ended up buying him two pairs of glasses with the warranty and we probably got three sets of glasses out of each one because he was forever breaking them. Maybe even more than that. They replace them with a smile and didn't give me any trouble at all. I would definitely go back there, they have pretty reasonable prices, you know glasses are very expensive and I would say that the Ray bans my son likes are probably about $400 a pair but when you think about how many sets I got for that price it's not a bad deal at all. read more

Purchased a pair of glasses and was told it would be 7-10 business days and they would be ready. It took 3 weeks for the glasses .

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER Pearle Vision Orange Park, FL ! Doctors were nice unfortunately STAFF SUCKED. I went in to pick up my glasses after never being called as promised. I called to see what time they closed was told 6:00 pm but that was a lie they actually closed at 7:00 pm. I was told this to ensure they could get out on time. I walked in not greeted and then five people were taken before me that came in after me?????????? I walked up to the receptionist to find out if I could just get me glasses and go. Receptionist was rude and basically told me that I should have spoken up???? I quietly advised her that as the a consumer it is not my job to do her job. She rolled her eyes and looked at me as if I was wrong for complaining. I have never experienced this type of treatment. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I will be telling everyone I know to not visit this place and I will be posting this to all the review sites and posting this to social media to warn the local people I know. The STAFF SHOULD BE FIRED and bring on a new staff. You can not treat people like crap and expect to keep peoples business. 2019 will be taking my business somewhere else. read more
