I went to Trillium 3 times as my glass were so uncomfortable and painful I couldn't even wear them. Every time an adjustment was made a different part of the glasses caused pain. In addition these are progressive glasses and when the adjustments were made they didn't fit on my nose correctly which caused issues - I can only see farsighted. When the last adjustment was made I was rather concerned and asked 'what if I can't wear these'-I was told to check Amazon for some kind of eyeglass gear and if needed to call the manufacturer. Although effort was made to fix my glasses I don't see why I should be searching for something to fix my glasses nor call anyone. I purchased the glasses from Trillium, although you may not be legally liable, I would expect much more than this. Well I got arm guards for the arms of the glasses and it didn't work. Now I have scaley, red soars on the sides of my head and they hurt.

How does that effect us? They have a proprietary scheduling system fraught with failures (it too bubbling with complaints) Do not use their Fulghum website for scheduling or zocdoc. System double books, has no triage capability to determine complexity beyond 10 min assigned. Staff is versed in passification though no compensation for the time off you arranged, transportation et al. Please call directly. Talk with a person for appt., get a name and title. If in person, appt card. If phone, get an email confirmation with that name and title before leaving or hanging up respectively. Staff change. You still have risk of rescheduling showing up or more than one email change appt, but perhaps it can be lessened? No attestation as to the doc. He works south fl and Jax. No matter, affabilty and ability are of no use if he is not available.

I guess I got weary of military grade frames and lenses. Also, I just wanted to have more options on eye care and potentially better technology for my examination. Well, there was one impressive machine that was a true upgrade from the normal dilations that required sunglasses for hours at a time. Even with the extra $35 fee, it was worth trying and I got to see the pics as Dr. Potochick explained what he saw on the screen. No dilation. No funky shield. And thankfully, all was good with my eyes - retina in good shape! 5 Points Eye Associates has been around for a long time, since 1976. Dr. Potochick has been there since 2008 - a well-seasoned veteran in his occupation! Very thoughtful, courteous, and he'll answer all your questions. I was very impressed with the treatment and attention I received there. After the exam, it was time to choose frames. Tabitha took care of me and we worked through about 20 lenses before narrowing them down to 5. Then after working through those 5, it was clear the Ray Ban was the winner! Rev now sports Ray Ban's for his daily eyewear! These glasses are comfortable, look great, and finally, I have progressive lenses! (The military doesn't offer progressives). I'm getting used to my new progressive lenses right now. Been good so far - at least writing this review with them on was pretty easy overall! I chose to write my review on 5 Points when the job was completed before rating and writing my review. I will say that I can recommend them highly. Picking them up today and their taking care of me with solid professionalism and seeing to the completion of being sure the glasses were going to work for me was very impressive. I encourage anyone who's looking for a solid eye care to visit 5 Points Eye Associates! Also, I love the building it's in. Originally, it was built as the Home Telephone Company in 1914 and 5 Points took custody in 1976. A lot of history in this building! It feels like a classic when you walk inside! Recommend: HIGH

BEcause I already had issues before their eye glasses range from free tacky frames to beautiful high-priced frames that fall apart easy at rages to 200 dollars. Not one pair survived a whole year. I bought frames from Vooglam even more beautiful and better quality but due to an accident I lost a screw didn't have an eyeglass kit so thought I'd ask them to put a screw in no because I didn't buy them there ended up giving the frames to an ex friend who stole them instead of putting the screw in. The office staff was heartless didn't call emergency when I said I was walking into traffic because the screw luckily a concerned person picked me up in the middle of the road calmed me down and took me home.

St. John's Eye Associates seriously mishandled my prescription and misled me about my options…read more Instead of providing the contacts I've always received under my insurance, they claimed I could only get a different type--at a much higher cost. When I later inquired about exchanging the unused lenses, they denied the possibility, only for my insurance to confirm that I should have been given my preferred contacts from the start. Rather than informing me of all my options upfront, they withheld crucial information, causing unnecessary frustration and financial strain. They only changed course **after** my insurance contacted them, which makes it clear that they had the facts all along but failed to act in my best interest. Whether due to negligence or greed, this experience was unacceptable. Patients deserve honesty and providers who prioritize their well-being--not ones who make things harder for them.
