This is all after my appt was rescheduled two days prior - they say they called me and left a message, but I have no missed calls or messages from them. He is truly trying to make things right but I did not change my review immediately. I wanted to make sure that they were actually making these changes at the employee level, not just talking about them. I've seen some better courtesy from their employees and I think some of my concerns have been addressed. Not sure I'd say they are four or five starts yet, but they are better and maybe will get there if they continue to work to change their culture a bit. Worth a look if you need eyeglasses and can afford a higher price for better service than the big box stores, or if you have insurance they take here.

She was thorough, professional, and provided a very comprehensive eye exam. Unfortunately, that was the best part of my experience. When it came time to order my progressive lenses, the staff member fitting my glasses had me lean forward in a chair and marked the lenses with a marker. No measurements were taken, and the fit of the frames was not evaluated or adjusted. About two and a half weeks later, I returned to pick up my glasses. I immediately noticed that I could not see properly through the progressive lenses unless I lifted the glasses approximately half an inch up my face. Although the staff initially seemed skeptical, they eventually agreed that the lenses needed to be remade. After another couple of weeks, the replacement glasses arrived. Before leaving, I asked if I could test them by reading something. With apparent frustration, I was handed a piece of paper. The glasses had the exact same problem as the first pair. After reviewing the order, the staff discovered that the lenses had been reordered using the same measurements as before. The glasses were reordered again. Once again, the same employee marked the lenses with a marker without taking any actual measurements. After another wait, the new lenses were still incorrect. This time, I had to lift the glasses about a quarter of an inch to see properly. Finally, during a subsequent visit, a different optician took proper measurements using both manual markings and a camera-based measuring system, adjusted the frames, and confirmed that the previous measurements were inaccurate. After yet another reorder, and nearly two months after my original order date, I finally received a pair of glasses that worked acceptably. While I ultimately received usable glasses, the process involved nearly two months of delays, multiple appointments, and several lens remakes. The doctor who performed my eye exam was outstanding, but the optical fitting and ordering process was frustrating, time-consuming, and should have been handled much more professionally from the start.

The young lady that I dealt with on my lens prescription was very informative and gave excellent customer service. The cashier was awesome, very friendly and was chatting with us, very informative also. She checked us out and we left . We went to lunch and I went to look at my invoice and I notices it did not show my vision insurance copays. I called back to the office and spoke with a nice man, named Darrin. He got my info, looked up my account and said they did not have my insurance info in their system, he got what he needed and said he would get with the optical department. I got a call this morning, he told me everything had been entered and yes, I was due a refund and he could credit my card right then if I could give him some info. He ran the card while I was on the phone with him, told me how much everything was and this $$ was my refund back to my card. He apologized for the office's error. I just want to tell the whole office staff and to Darren , Thank You for your Prompt service of correcting this error. The lady at the front desk asked me for my name and phone number to "put me on the schedule." I told her that I was just looking and did not want an appointment. She pressed me further and told me that they wanted to know who is in the building, which seemed odd. So, I gave her my name and phone number. Then, she asked for my birthday. I'm more or less flabbergasted at this point, since the business is located in Orange Park, not Beverly Hills. I told her to just put down 1/1/2020. Another staff member came out to request my birthday because they want to know who is in the building. Good grief, do they have a lot of thefts in that area? I have never had anyone ask for my personal details in order to look at eyeglasses frames.

My sister asked for help picking out hers and even though she was eligible to get transitions, the person that worked with her didn't include them and when we askef to have it fixed they advised there would be a charge even though our vsp plan states if we don't like them we can get a free pair within 30 days. We won't be back.
