For the past two years, I have been thinking of taking them down, but I was a little skeptical about the cost of the process as I got too high of a price quotation back then even on just having to trim the branches. So, I have been looking last week for a reliable and affordable tree services professional and I got over ten responses here on Yelp. Naturally, I picked those with verified license and asked for their quotes for the project and to my surprise they were all within a reasonable range which was not my initial expectation honestly. I thought that two years ago, I would've probably been scammed if I decided to get it done then. Meanwhile, I had narrowed down my choices to four companies that I thought were reasonable. But one stood out among the four -- Pearloga Tree Service. Lez was the first one who came out on such a short notice to give an honest estimate. I liked his straightforwardness -- no side stories or drama that you'd mostly expect to someone who wants to sell their services to you. There was no explanation or justification as to why the price is this much or less coz I've never asked in the first place. For me price-wise, it was just a matter of high or low. After getting the rest of the price quotes from the other three, I also noted that Lez gave me the lowest of quotes and I didn't even have to negotiate or bargain for it. Another thing was Lez was very communicative about the project unlike the other three. He was prompt and attentive to every questions that I asked. And he was able to schedule the project that very weekend. On the day of work, they came in 30 minutes earlier than scheduled -- set up their equipment, planned out, and discussed about safety. That shows the kind of professionalism this company has. It took them a whole day to complete the project, which I expected and they did an awesome job. The area was cleaned up well thereafter. They even ground the old and existing tree stumps to make the whole yard clean and pristine looking. Prompt response, estimate, and service! 40-45 foot palm tree in my backyard that had never been trimmed in over 15 years and was covered with overgrown wisteria vines was completely removed (stump included) within a few hours!
