Pearloga did an amazing job with our trees. From initial communication to day-of execution and clean up, the process was friendly, smooth, efficient, and professional. Lez came out to do the assessment. It was her expertise and customer service that made me choose Peraloga over other companies that came out for assessment. Specifically, I wanted to make sure that the pruning would not damage future fruiting, and Lez was able to explain how they ensure the safety to the trees flowering cycle. She also offered a competitive price for the job. We had a special request to two homes close by, and they were very accommodating. The crew arrived on time and made short work of pruning 3 fruit trees, 8 pines for the two homes in 2 hours! They were friendly, careful, and cleaned up afterwards. During the pruning, we still had a lots of fruit left in two of the trees and the guys were so kind to set the avocados aside and drag over branches of tangerine so that I could collective them. We inherited a well-established orange tree in our home that was pruned from the bottom-up by previous owners, leaving all the growth way high up out of reach. This resulted in dense growth that produced softball sized oranges enjoyed by critters who can reach them and not so much enjoyed by humans who couldn't reach them and/or who were pelted by them when they'd fall. The growth was also starting to reach over our garage and shed, where I knew I didn't want the oranges falling onto the roof or into the gutter. I was in desperate need of experts to rescue this tree. I am so impressed with the work they did on my orange tree. Lez and her crew were incredibly response and professional. We got several quotes, but once we met with them we knew they were the once to take an overgrown and dense tree and nurse it back to health. Lez explained how they would prune it back significantly to open up the canopy and give it the structure it needs to actually thrive again -- she said it would look crazy and anemic for a bit, but that would all be part of process and reassured us it would be for the long-term health of the tree. We had a large ficus tree stump in our backyard that we wanted removed, and Pearloga was extremely responsive, timely, and came in at a much more reasonable price than other companies quoted. This is just a great company. Not only did they have the best bid price but they did the most comprehensive analysis of the project site. I thought I just needed a tree trimming but George' showed me how the trees root system was already cracking the cement wall on the property line. Cutting it down to a stump was not much more expensive and dealt with the problem. I'm boring bleach on the stump to kill it. They were on time and efficient. Just updating our review to add that we have continued to work with Lez and his crew for the past 3 years and they have been amazing. I can't imagine working with any other landscaper. Lez rolls with all my crazy ideas and has so far planted 8-10 fruit trees, built a trellis for bougainvillea, redone our front yard to be drought tolerant, trimmed our tree regularly, and I'm sure other things I've forgotten. I have hired Pearloga Tree Service two (2) years in a row, and I won't hire anybody else for my trimming needs. If you are on the fence about who you should hire look no further. I had an appointment between 12 pm and 1 pm. Pearloga arrived at 1015 am. How many other licensed contractors do that? I have high to reach Queen Palms that I cannot trim myself. It's no problem for this crew. I also don't like the spikes showing in the front of my Queen Palms and Pearloga knows how to do it so no holes are seen. I also had Pearloga trim up my Pigmy Date Palms as they are a pain to do them myself. Pearloga takes care when trimming the palms as not to damage the plants and grass below. They cleaned up their mess and went to the neighbors behind to make sure there was nothing to clean in their yard. Last year, my Queen Palms didn't look healthy, however, if you hire Pearloga they will give you tips that are worth gold in bringing the palm trees back to life. read more
