The store did not disappoint -- it's a baker's paradise in every sense. Every possible ingredient, tool, pan, piece of equipment, and baking mix you could imagine is here, beautifully displayed and easy to browse. The space is bright, immaculate, and extremely well organized, with helpful staff ready to answer questions or point you toward something new. There's also a demonstration kitchen and a café, which adds even more to the experience. While their website is fantastic (and what we've relied on for years), the in‑person store is absolutely worth the trip. Whether you're an avid baker or looking for the perfect gift for someone who is, this is a destination worth driving for. We're so glad we finally made it -- and we'll be talking about this stop for a long time.

The lattes were pretty standard and the pastries were a bit disappointing. The flavor profile of the focaccia was odd - corn, tomato, and spicy mayo. The croissant was extremely flavored but lacked a butter flavor. The service was quick and plenty of seating. Many small tables would be preferred to the long almost banquet table options.

I like to try to support small businesses so I will say that the people in line seemed pretty intent on getting their coffee, but I was super bummed to not return back to our group with a (vegan) fruit pie. I Yelped this place (keep those reviews coming kids) and thought maybe I'd try to grab a savory chicken pot pie hand pie or something to tide me over. I didn't realize the pot pies were like dinner size lmao so I had to regroup. They had blueberry pie!! Now this is not remarkable in itself but all I wanted for my bday was to go to Acadia and have a lobster roll and blueberry pie on the big day and I had to change my plans for the SECOND year in a row. So in the words of Denzel I said to myself, "I'm leaving here with something." So I got a maple latte - lord. This is probably my fave coffee flavor - and a small blueberry pie for myself. There's a scene in the Colin Firth version of Pride and Prejudice where Mariah Lucas is panicking over how to pack her trunk based on what busybody Lady Catherine DeBerg advised her. Here comes Lizzy Bennett, "Mariah those are your trunks. You pack them the way you want." OK well Amanda G this is your pie and if you want to eat a pie for lunch in your car then you do it. And did. 20/10. Did do again. The next day. With an apple cinnamon muffin and a maple latte.

I forgot about the time change and called at 6:25 in portland which is 9:25 in NH. She answered the phone with a very rude and loud voice saying "DON'T EVER CALL AT THIS HOUR AGAIN" Maybe if your hours were posted ANYWHERE I would've known. Try being a kind person and not answering the phone like that. I 100% will never give my business to this rude, condescending and outright mean person. Being a business owner in CUSTOMER SERVICE doesn't seem like a good fit for you! If anyone has recommendations for a good bakery with a kind staff, I'm looking!

My personal favorites are her dinner rolls and her raspberry and apricot shortbread cookies. Becky has some amazing talent and is so kind and welcoming. This place was on our way to our first destination this morning and we said screw it, let's give a try, Ooof!! we would've have a better tasty breakfast at McDonald's for half the cost. Yep!! This place is actually really pricey for the quality of food you get here. I ordered the egg, cheese sandwich on a biscuit (because we always like to try the local restaraunt's biscuits) and I added their maple sausage. I wanted to get an almond croissant as well until I saw a fly in the pastry cabinet just have his way on all the pastries. NOPE!! This was probably one of the worse breakfast sandwiches I have ever had to date. The biscuit itself was hard as a rock, dry and crumbled upon touch. It was lousy as heck. The maple sausage was a thick patty, but small, almost like a quarter size round compared to the size of the biscuit. So for what sandwich and a cup of coffee was around $23. Heck no! Was that even worth it with how bad inflation is these days Not sure how they have such high ratings, but just be warned. You're welcome!
