Great spot, interesting take on breakfast. Want them to succeed, the area needs a cafe to hang out in.

Honestly, the only reason why we ate breakfast at this place was because all of the other…read morerestaurants we wanted to try were closed today. This place was on our way to our first destination this morning and we said screw it, let's give a try, Ooof!! we would've have a better tasty breakfast at McDonald's for half the cost. Yep!! This place is actually really pricey for the quality of food you get here. I ordered the egg, cheese sandwich on a biscuit (because we always like to try the local restaraunt's biscuits) and I added their maple sausage. I wanted to get an almond croissant as well until I saw a fly in the pastry cabinet just have his way on all the pastries. NOPE!! This was probably one of the worse breakfast sandwiches I have ever had to date. The biscuit itself was hard as a rock, dry and crumbled upon touch. It was lousy as heck. The maple sausage was a thick patty, but small, almost like a quarter size round compared to the size of the biscuit. So for what sandwich and a cup of coffee was around $23. Heck no! Was that even worth it with how bad inflation is these days Not sure how they have such high ratings, but just be warned. You're welcome!

The sweet potato breakfast bar was also fluffy and healthy, but that cookie is divine. Serene spot off the beautiful Stowe Recreation Path. Coming back to try their salted peanut butter cookie and more. 5 stars!!!!

I got the Snack Shack iced (Maple Custard latte) all 3 times and it was amazing. I love trying fun flavored coffees and this was one of the best I have had. Sweet enough, but not overpowering. My husband tried the cold brew and a Cherry Dream pour over (iced) and he thought both were great as well (he is also much more knowledgeable and particular about coffee). I also loved that all the food and baked goods were gluten free! The biscuits used for the egg sandwiches were awesome (my husband is not gf and he even enjoyed). We also tried a maple cream cheese cookie, chocolate chip cookie, s'mores biscuit, pb and jelly cookie and all were amazing for being gf (we took a banana biscuit and double chocolate chip cookie home to try later). Everything had a good texture (which is rare for gf) and everything was super fresh as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful and while the place is small, it had a very cool vibe where you could enjoy your coffee inside or sit outside at the picnic tables on a nice day. We will definitely be back next time we come to Stowe!

More akin to a breakfast panini, the gooey fluffy egg and cheese, crunchy bacon, and bright onions were perfectly supported by two slices of crunchy, crusty toasted sourdough. Such great flavor! The iced maple latte was a bit on the sweet side but still very much enjoyed it. TBD on the scone, but judging by how busy it was, it is gonna be great! Service: Friendly group passionate about what they do! Ambiance: Small town, comfortable bakery where I assume all the netizens gather.

It's always been busy when I've gone, but wait times aren't very long and the staff is pleasant. Needless to say, I got home and inhaled my turkey on a baguette. The only thing I think is a little bit of a bummer is the lack of more "traditional" topping options. I like my sandwiches with lettuce, tomato, and onion. The cafe does not offer tomatoes and only has pickled onions. Would be nice to have a little more choice when building your own sandwich. That said, I'm still a big fan and would get food from there again in a heartbeat.
