I should start my review by saying this was a surprise birthday gift from my wife. At first I balked at the price but decided to accept the fact that I'm going to be playing Pebble Beach if I was ready or not, now or never. A little about me: 10+ handicap, plays at least once a week, LOVE to hit the driving range and work on my game. I'll try to only point out the highlights of my round. The day started out gloomy and drizzly, but I figure, this is normal weather for this part of California. Checking in at the Pro-shop, staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Forked out the $500+ for the round, a small part of me died after the dude swiped my credit card. Hitting the practice area, I think to myself, this is how a driving range should be-- golf balls arranged in a pyramid stack, unlimited golf tees (I pocketed a handful), grass mowed so close to ground, with no bald spots; None of those side-hill lies like what you see on other grass ranges. It almost felt like the range was all mic'ed & hooked up to a PA system. The mere sound of hitting golf balls in their driving range comes out as a solid 'THWACK!' Kind of makes you feel like a tour professional. Hole #1: I get paired with a wonderful threesome from the East Coast, one of the guests also happens to be celebrating his turning 40 years old as well, which is kind of a trip. As soon as I step on the 1st tee, I get the first tee jitters. As long as I've been playing this game, I can't remember ever having felt like that. The realization of playing the most revered golf course on the whole planet comes down on me and lo and behold, I top my tee shot. CRAP.... Something about this place reduces people into bumbling hackers, no matter how long you've been playing this game. Luckily, my flight was respectful enough to give me encouragement and move on. Views: BREATHTAKING. Having played Tiger Woods PGA Tour on Xbox does nothing to prepare you for the actual course conditions: severely sloping fairways, tee shots over the ocean, undulations on the greens, the height changes, etc... I could go on forever. The views alone is worth the price of admission. Hole #18: Every serious golf fan knows how the last hole is laid out: A Par 5, beach on the left with an effin' tree in the middle of the narrow fairway. Again, the pressure is building to make a decent score. Alas, pushing too hard will screw up your golf swing. I wind up, attempt to connect and end up hitting the ball on the heel of the club. On the corner of my eye, I see my ball (together with my remaining confidence) sputter left towards the Pacific Ocean.. F**K. To be playing Pebble for the first time, I manage to scrounge up a 90 (from the gold tees). Comparatively, the greens on this course are much smaller than other courses I've played. And to make matters worse, the greens are surrounded by many, deep bunkers. Oh the bunkers, that's a whole discussion in itself. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Recommendations: WARM UP: For any self-respecting golfer, coming in cold will not only frustrate you but will guarantee a blown up scorecard. You've paid all this money to play Pebble, at least play well enough not to embarrass yourself or the people you're playing with. Now, if you're the type that's got money to burn or you're just some casual golfer who plays without even keeping score, then more power to you. CADDIE: Other reviewers have said it and I'll say it again-- GET A CADDIE! For us mere mortals who can only afford to play PB on very special occasions or maybe on a once-in-a-lifetime basis, having that course knowledge will only help you score better. I can't tell you how many times my caddie had bailed me out. I was paired with Gene, who's been caddying here for more than 25 years. The old man can be a little sarcastic at times, but most of the time he was direct, didn't mince any words and saved me the patronizing that's fairly common in their line of work. He told me where to hit my tee shots, approach shots and once on the putting green, he basically told me where to hit my putts, and I knocked that bad boy stiff. Like what he said after the round, 'a caddie's knowledge is worth their weight in gold in these parts.'- I couldn't agree more. Make sure you tip them well. I would definitely come back here if I had the means. For now, I'll have to relegate myself to playing Pebble on my Xbox while dreaming of one day coming back to this little slice of golf heaven. First off, this course costs $550 plus a $95 caddie fee (you should definitely play with a caddie here at least once and I wouldn't even consider riding a cart, especially since it is cart path only). This is absurd. This golf course is phenomenal and exceeded my expectations and all of the pictures and videos I have seen. Absolutely stunning. I was so nervous I was shaking on the first tee box and it just felt surreal to walk down the same fairways that I have seen in video games and that the legends have been walking for 100 years. The course has sweeping ocean views from almost every hole and the 6-7-8 stretch is as good as anything else I have seen, with 18 being the best finishing hole I have ever played. Despite playing only two weeks after the US Open, conditions were fabulous (and tough as the rough had not all been cut back yet). They were still taking down grandstands and tents so it was kinda cool to see the course as the pros do. The hazards, small greens, winds, and nerves make this the toughest course I have ever played, but at least I made some pars along the way. The service here was friendly, top notch and helpful - everyone from the bag drop to my caddie was affable and down to earth. I also really enjoyed hearing about all the celebrities and pros who have walked this same course. It was fun pretending to be a high roller for a few hours despite being almost certainly the poorest player on the course. Sure, a 6 hour pace of play on a random weekday is truly ridiculous. Sure, the $130 polo shirts in the gift shop are laughable. Sure, paying almost $650 to play a round of golf seems crazy. But I think this experience was worth it and I hope that some day I can go back. read more

Simply put HANDS DOWN THE BEST GOLF COURSE IN THE COUNTRY!!! I go here each year at the end of the school year with my dad and each time it gets better and better. This is one of the few courses where it doesn't matter how good or bad you play, or how crappy the weather is (we played one year in freezing rain spray) you will have a great and amazingly memorable time. Nothing more needs to be said about this place and if you are a golfer you need to, come hell or high water, make your way out to pebble beach before you die. Four big things to note before going: 1-on holes 9 and/or 10, if your quick enough, run down to the sand by the green, or in the fairway and try to hit a ball back up to the fairway or green...its a fun thing to do, plus all the people on the beach stare and watch you 2-if your physically able to walk the course (or if you can only walk for a bit have the caddy drive your cart) 3-the birds will steal all your food and anything shiny if you dont hide it 4-get a caddy read more

Aww Pebble Beach Golf Link is stunning, breath taking and well maintained. My caddie is amazing too, he was not only showed me all the blind shots but he also took amazing pictures of me. Plus Taylor Made golf club is heavy for a woman's back. Renting a golf club $95 is more expensive than the cost of a caddie, only $80 so I gave him a big tips and a bottle champagne for all of his works. read more

High expectations typically come to a disappointment when they are not met. Pebble lived up to it's name for me. The staff was excellent and engaging. The property was well kept despite being as busy as it was. I really had a great time playing this course. I warmed up on Spanish Bay and Spy Glass the days before, and didn't think that Pebble was going to be that much different or more amazing. It was! The views from the course are every bit as distracting as the course itself. This wasn't as tyrannical as Spyglass, but was extremely fun to play. I walked with a caddy, I would highly recommend the same (cost aside), you're already paying $495.00 what's another couple hundred? His knowledge was valuable and was very welcoming. For me this was the ultimate golf experience, it would be hard to match this anywhere. Advise: It's expensive. Look for package that include a couple of rounds of golf through their website and piece together a vacation. You need to stay at any of their properties to get advanced tee times. Plus you'll get to warm up on either Spyglass or Spanish Bay! Give yourself plenty of time in the morning for your tee time. The driving range is a short shuttle ride away and you'll need to warm up. Get a caddy and walk! Don't get a cart, you'll spend more time going back to your cart than making forward movement on the course. Enjoy yourself, don't take golf that seriously, you're not in the PGA (or maybe you are). Take time to enjoy the views, they are amazing. read more

Pebble Beach has long been a place I've wanted to visit ever since I became interested in golf in middle school. Many years and Pebble Beach Pro-Ams later, The Wife and I finally found a way to stop by during our PCH trip. I had a feeling it was going to be a good day when, for some reason, they just waved us through the gate at the entrance to 17 Mile Dr instead of having to pay the fee (hey, I'm not asking any questions) and as we snaked our way through the increasingly more prestigious neighborhoods, my expectations and excitement built at a steady pace until we finally reached our destination. All sorts of questions went through my mind...this is a golf course, are they cool with people just stopping in? Is this normal? Will we be shooed away as if by some angry Septuagenarian from Bushwood? All of these questions of course were answered when we entered the pro shop and began perusing and interacting with the nice staff. While probably not their ideal customers, it did seem quite normal for people to stop and pay homage to this iconic course. A cherry on the sundae was when we were paying for our items, the pro shop personnel gave us a couple score cards as gifts and reminded us to make sure and get "our 18th hole picture" over by the lodge. Taking this advice in tow, we waltzed over to the lodge where food and drink are available to all, with great views of the bay and of course the picturesque 18th hole. You can walk all the up to the wooden fence surrounding the green, so stop and take pictures all you like. With good memories and pebble beach gear in tow (I bought a divot tool to replace my lost St. Andrews one) we made our way back to the PCH and the rest of our trip. So while I finally got to visit, now I need to take the next step and play the course. Perhaps the next trip. Play or not, definitely stop at Pebble Beach. read more

The best 4 hours of my life. It has always been my dream to play Pebble. I finally made it happen last year after months and months of saving some serious dough. I will never forget the jitters I felt on the first tee. To be in the same course that all the greats have played and to finally fulfill one of my dreams was surreal. I will never forget hole #2. Par 5 = hit a perfect drive, positioned for a 100 yard third, struck a wedge perfectly leaving myself a 4 footer. Sunk the putt. Birdie bitches!!! I spent the rest of my round soaking in all I can. I can still do a play by play of every stroke I made that day as if it was yesterday. I remember every detail. I remember getting sad as we made the turn. I never wanted this day to end. Favorite holes have to be: # 6 - par five uphill with a blind second shot # 7 - signature hole - how can anyone forget? # 3 - tricky dog left leg leading you into the ocean # 17 - par 3 with the Pacific as the dropback # 18 - best finishing hole with the Pacific all along the left This place offers excellent service as well. The Pro Shop and the attendants make you feel like a KING. They even offer you shuttle service to the driving range as there isn't one on Pebble Beach property. Oh most importantly, the course was in immaculate condition. Fast green and pristine fairways. FYI - if you are on the practice putting green, tell all your buddies to log on the website and you can wave hello on the live feed cam. :-) I would definitely love to come back. I have to save major chips since I promised the old man he's coming next time. It was worth every dollar I spent. The memories alone were priceless. read more

First of all, Pebble Beach as a golf course is amazing and to finally play here was a dream come true. Definitely a bucket list moment. Considering all the weather they have had, the course was in great condition. Also, the service at the pro shop and food was great at both the Bench and the Tap Room. Sadly, this is why I can't give 5 stars. When I traveled back home and unpacked my clubs, I noticed a large ding on the top of my brand new putter. Now, yes, I realize clubs get dinged up and my irons certainly show wear but considering the cost of most high end putters today, I believe in proper care. I have never caused damage to my Scotty's or Bettinardi's in my career. The flagstick must be respected :) I also find nicks and dings distracting. The caddy I had was a little too cavalier with my equipment which is surprising. He was unfortunately the weakest part of the whole experience. I guess for the price it costs to play here, I expected a bit more care. At the very least putting the headcover back on after done putting. Now I can add getting my putter refinished to the cost of playing Pebble. read more

All I can say is that I feel very lucky to have played at this divine golf course. Of course it maybe $500 a round plus a stay at the Lodge, but it is worth every pretty penny if I had to pay that rate. But we lucked out and did a charity event for the kids of Monterey on Fathers Day, in which we played for $300 each and all the proceeds went to the kids in need and did not have to stay at the Lodge. Lucky me and we did something great for the kids in need. Sometimes in life you just have to say F*CK it and throw down the dough, cause you cannot take it with you when your dead. Don't wait to play this course cause it will be just more expensive as the years go by. If you do decide to play, you will be rewarded with the most stunning views of carmel and the sea. Also, get the forecaddy and walk the course! Its well worth the extra cost for the course knowledge because I can't tell you how many times the caddy said, just shoot it over the ocean, and watch the wind blow my ball back to the fairway. Or putt 90 degrees away from the hole and watch my ball roll around the world back into the cup. Ok so where do I start. This place is unreal I still can't believe I was at Pebble beach. I went for the 2019 US OPEN and had a legendary time. I got to see all the top pros Tiger, Rory, DJ, Rahm, Ricky, Brooks, Sergio to name a few. I pretty much walked the whole venue and I was blown away at all the unique ocean views and houses that surround this course. I didn't get to play unfortunately but know having been there this place moved to the top of my bucket list to play in the near future. Of course Pebble Beach is going to get 5 stars. This is golf Mecca and despite having smashed my foot the day prior, on a warm up round, I finished out really well. My brother and I called the morning before to get our tee time and from the tee time booking to the bag pickup the whole operation was first class. The course was in fantastic condition, having just hosted the partners/owners tournament, so we both felt like we were getting the full course treatment. Our caddie, Jeff, was awesome and seriously saved me 5-8 strokes with his green reading. Some will ask if the $495 green fee is worth it....oh yeah. Pebble has been crossed off my bucket list, but that doesn't mean I won't be back! read more

There has to be some rights for consumers. It is deceptive and unethical to charge $575 and not give the customer any warning until they are checking in that the greens were punched and spread with sand the night before. The cashier says you will hardly notice because the holes are small. That is not true and not the conditions you should expect for $575. When you pay a premium price for golf, the course should be in premium condition. Beware, your dream outing can turn into a nightmare. read more

The Mecca of Golf I have been extremely fortunate in my life. I have played some of the greatest tracks in North America, both public and private. I have played Pebble now a few times, and while it is expensive, and while it is usually busy, and while it is packed with a large variety of shitty golfers, it will forever be the one course that all other courses are judged by. Even with all this being said, the human element is key. What COVID has taught us all is how important humans are to one another especially when they can not get close to each other for the time being. ONE PERSON. A marshall on the golf course named John (from Dallas) made our trip beyond magical. John is the "salt of the Earth". A man who is polite, informative, thoughtful, humorous, and above all else, enjoyable to be with. He shaved five strokes off my round simply for making us laugh, and being a joy to chat with. We will be back, and we hope to see John again in the not so distant future. read more

We are driving there now to stay in The Lodge for our Christmas vacation. No one does it better than Pebble Beach. No one. I would give ten stars if I could. read more

Was just here over the last weekend to play Spyglass and Pebble with my brother. First, all the positives. The scenery and ambiance blows everything that you may have read or thought about quickly away. The views on the 18th hole next to the hotel that you can see are unlike anything else. Spyglass was a lot of fun and we did not get Paired up which made it even better. Interestingly, the first 5 holes on Spyglass were just as good (maybe if not better) than most of the holes on Pebble in terms of the view and aesthetics. Pebble was amazing as most would expect. A few slights negatives though. We did not take a caddy but the people we were paired up with had a caddy named Randy. He really put a slight negative tone on the round as he was talking or putting clubs in their cart while we were hitting. He also was moving around a few feet from our tee box while hitting which we said something to him about and then this type of behavior subsided. Still, for paying so much to play a course like this it was a bit disappointing and somewhat stressful. The tap room was amazing for dinner and I'd highly recommend this as well along with grabbing a drink and sitting out in the hotel lobby. read more

Where do you even start about this place. A true definition of 5 star resort and golf. I have the pleasure of playing pebble beach two years in row. The course is so crisp from the tee boxes to the fairways. The greens are among the purist if not thee purist I have ever rolled on. All caddies we have had are stand up. Last year we had a gentleman by the name of sticks. These guys know the course inside and out. Yes it is pricy but definitely a bucket list course . Pebble Beach Is an amazing and beautiful place. I loved looking at the golf course, the ocean view and it's scenery. I did not play a round of golf but I was happy enough to get to check it out and have an amazing dining experience and tour of the shops and resort. We took some friends from Canada to check out Pebble Beach and it was the highlight of one of my friend's trip since he loves golf! Very clean and well put together. Scathing? Perhaps but when you run this level of resort you lead guests to expect a certain level of service. At $495/pp to play 18 holes, you raise the bar. The golf course alone is spectacular, and by itself it's a 5 star but the rest falls so far short it's a shame and needs to be addressed. First, they send people off every 10 minutes which is an unrealistic pace when you can drive your carts on the course, when you cant? It's unachievable. I can see that there is a lot of money at stake and herin lies the problem. At what works out to $2000 every 10 minutes from 6:30AM until 4:30PM, anything that impedes their money train is a threat but the problem is that their own customers are the ones they're having a problem with. The starter, the first thing he tells us is "take a lot of clubs to the ball and keep the pace" This was the first of many instances where marshalls were clocking us and even taking clubs out of our bags at the green and walking them up to us on the tee box so we "didnt have to walk to the tee" it was nothing more than rushing and we were rushed constantly. I play to an 18HDCP as did the rest of the group. there was no reason for the level hawking. Never were we told we were behind because frankly, we weren't. But where it really came apart for me was the turn. So, lets consider the math of revenue and the clientele. Not everyone is up to drop this kind of coin on a golf game, but the ones that are up for it, I really suspect, want better food and service at the turn than what you get at the Pasadena muni (No offense Brookside). There was only one guy there and he was busy being slow and rude to the growing line of people in the queue. It took me at least 4-5 minutes to get my Brat where my options for toppings were little Heinz packets of yellow mustard, ketchup, mayo and alien-green relish. On my way to the cart the marshal tells me I need to hurry and that I'm behind. WTF!?! Dont put a goddamned snack shop at the turn if you dont build the time for it into the round? Is it there for ornament? TO teas me with crappy and expensive food? Tell me, what's it for if I dont have 5 minutes to get a shockingly bad sausage... ah, the sausage. So, here is where Pebble fails and fails hard. The food they have there, beyond the wrapper-snacks and drinks, the hot food is HORRIFYING. I got in the cart to find a soggy bun and a Brat that was of the lowest quality I am stunned that it would be served to people not incarcerated for heinous crimes. I took 2 bites, the first stunned me and I needed #2 to validate that the reason I was suddenly grossed out was in fact the offending sausage. So, since I had no time to return it, I would bring it back on 13 when I pass it again. A few holes later I bring the offending Brat back and a guest asks me "Are you returning a hot dog?" to which I was very polite and simply said that I was. Before I had a chance to say anything the employee admonished me for returning the sausage where I said I just wanted some chips instead, no worries, I just could not eat the sausage. I simply said it was inedible. He was terribly rude and said "well how about you just take the chips and we're all square? I'm sorry we couldnt work it out for you" I didnt understand what he meant so I just corrected him and said that in fact it was all worked out, I had something else instead. Once more, I was greeted by a marshal who pointed me in the direction of my crew. The whole transaction took less than a minute but I was shooed back to my cart. Guys, I get that this is a cash cow and people are often just happy to get a tee time but that does not mean you can give such bad service and offer such terrible food. I went to the pro shop and Fletch listened to my tale and he apologized but when it came to finding anyone who could talk to me about it? No one was around. And he didnt ask for my information, just saying I could call back later in the week. It was hard to enjoy my round when I was being rushed from tee to tee and it didnt stop here, my group played Spyglass and Spanish Bay too and there was a similar rushing. Between us we spent over 10K, and while the hotel (Spanish Bay) was over the top polite, once you're in golf land you're cattle being poked and proded on to the next tee and frankly it sucked. If you want to play amazing and memorable golf go to Kauai, you'll spend less, the weather is better and the people are far nicer. Oh, yeah, the pace is much more realistic. Please call in advance to find out conditions of the course. The views were great but I can honestly say our threesome couldn't believe how bad the greens were (Actual undoctored green #11 attached). We were celebrating our 50th birthdays and planned for months to play the Pebble Beach course. We set aside and took vacation days, bought flights from Georgia, and convinced our spouses that it was a once in a lifetime experience (lots of honey do items checked off!) We had a tee time at 3:40, May 21st and it didn't help we were the last group out which made the conditions worse. Even though we were warned that we might not finish the course, we happily paid the $620 green and cart fee hoping that for that price it would be worth every cent. Pebble Beach management doesn't give you notification about greens being aerated, which almost all courses do. We would not have substituted our original Spyglass tee time that would have allowed us to finish. This is unacceptable especially for the exorbitant price. read more

As an event venue, I was very impressed by the ability of this course to handle huge huge huge crowds when I was here for the US Open last month. Though we had to park at CSU Monterey, parking was plentiful and they had well-managed buses constantly running back and forth (though the line was very long after Tiger putted-out on the 18th...). The temporary tents they put up are the biggest, fanciest temp buildings I've ever seen, and house food and souvenirs galore. The course is so beautiful, I felt terrible that 40,000 people were trampling over its well-manicured grass. It did show. But can you blame them? I'm inclined to rank my experience as 4-stars, but since the scenery is 6-stars, we'll average it out to 5. Bring a windbreaker and sunscreen. Even in the summer, the strong ocean breeze can be chilly, especially if you are just standing around watching other people do all the golfing. read more

I went here for the AT&T Pro-Am and this place did not disappoint!! The course is beautiful, the tournament was loaded with great golfers and celebrities, and the crowd was great. Good bars to have a couple drinks before, after and during. I'd highly recommend this event, and spending some time in downtown Carmel. I never made it to Spanish Bay, but that would be a great spot as well as they have a bag piper playing during sunset. I'll play this course one day, but my golf game needs SERIOUS WORK first!! read more

Well, I finally kicked down the cash to play the #1 rated course in the United States. (Depending on what year it is.) First, I feel the need to state the obvious, if you don't play golf, WHY THE HELL ARE YOU REVIEWING A GOLF COURSE?????? Phew...that's better. Anyway, people have posted slopes, ratings, distances, etc. so there is no point in rehashing those. There's also really no point in talking about how incredible the views are, the condition of the course, the insanity of the back 9, etc. It's all been said and it's all true. This place is absolutely amazing. My BIG tip of the day...I realize that caddies are an extra $75 base and you need to tip another $50 when you're done. For some people, the extra cost will be too much. However, you are completely out of your mind if you think you can walk onto this course and shoot a reasonable score without a caddie. Dig deep into your pocket and spend the extra money because it will absolutely be worth it. I was 3 over going to the 8th hole. That's some of the best golf I've ever played. I ended up shooting a 90 only because I lost my composure on #8 and #14. However, I am 100% certain (or in the words of one of those ladies on Maury Povich who is trying to figure out which one of 10 guys is the father of her baby; 1,000,000% certain) that I would have shot well beyond 100 without the help of Ruben, my caddie. He had me playing shots in bizarre directions, odd club selections and green breaks that simply weren't visible to the uninformed. At one point, I was just under 100 yards off the green and he reaches into my bag for an 8-iron and tells me to hit it 130 yards. He was right. Pin high, 5 feet to the right. If you're going to pay this much money to likely play a course one time in your entire life, you should have everything at your disposal to shoot your best score. Get a caddie. "Today, I consider myself - the luckiest man on the face of this earth." Words once spoken by Lou Gehrig. Today, those were my words. I finally got to check the big one off of the "bucket list." I was lucky enough to play Pebble Beach Golf Links. Widely known as the best public course in the country, Pebble Beach is home to many impressive PGA tournaments such as the Pro-Am and the US Open. We had an 11am tee time and arrived a little before 10. None of the employees there let you pass them without a greeting, and they don't let you handle your bag, ever. We took a walk through what is easily the largest Pro Shop of all time. They have every shirt, hat, sweater, jacket, trinket that you can think of - all of which come with a hefty price tag (cheapest golf shirt was $110). As we checked in, the kind man behind the desk let us know that we were welcome to keep our 11am tee time, but also showed us his Doppler rain monitor and thought rain could hit the course at about 3pm. Very cool heads up, we decided to take him up on his offer and tee off earlier than we expected. As we approached the first hole, I admit I was very intimidated. All I wanted was to not shank the first shot in front of everyone. Thankfully, I hit it long and straight, so did my partner and we were on our way. The most impressive thing about this course to me was that they had so many "signature holes." One of my favorite holes in all of golf WAS the 18th at Half Moon Bay. Pebble Beach had 6 or 7 holes that rivaled 18 at HMB. 11 holes were right on the cliffs with sea-mist coating my glasses - the other 8 holes also had nice views of the Pacific, the course, and the jumbo mansions. You really have to take a moment to appreciate the maintenance of the course - the fairways feel like carpet, the divots are already sprouting fresh grass, the crew was on the fairways fixing divots almost as they occur, the greens were smooth and perfect, the sand was soft and fluffy. Literally flawless. The fifth hole was particularly awe-inspiring. A long uphill par 5, a lone cypress sits at the top of the cliff at the green. The hole doglegs to the right and your second shot is a risky uphill over the ocean. Once you get to the top, it is nearly impossible not to soak up the views of the famous par 3 sixth hole below, the 7th along the coast to your left, and the 18th fairway to the right. It is easily the best view in all of golf. Overall, I played pretty good considering the wind and that I didn't bring my "A-game." If you are a serious golfer, you have to play Pebble Beach before you die. It is truly golf bliss - and my new #1. Move over Spyglass, SFGC and Olympic Club - there's a new Sheriff in town! read more

Much has been written about the Hallowed Ground of Pebble, I won't rehash it all... The bottom line is that if you are a golfer and have the means, come play here... I've played courses across Europe, Asia and North America: Pebble is the best, hands down. Playing Pebble is akin to a baseball game at Wrigley Field, a college football game at Notre Dame or a tennis match at Wimbledon... You know that you are in a special place as soon as you arrive. Holes 6,7 and 8 are arguably the most recognized trio of holes in all of golf. #18 may be the most recognized hole in golf.. I totally lucked out and made a par on #18! The surrounding community and resort is top notch. I stayed at the Lodge at Pebble Beach and found it one of the most impressive properties that I have ever stayed. read more

This place is so memorable and historic that golfers need to play here at least once. The place is more beautiful than I thought it would be. I love the smell of the ocean and the humidity in the air while golfing. Everyone is extremely helpful and nice here. For $500, it's nice to escape the world and play the most desired golf course in the world. read more
