WOW! These were honestly the BEST Quesadillas I have ever had! They season the veggies before putting them into the wrap. Very few restaurants do that. The seasoning was perfection. I didn't add salsa, guac or any seasoning. Prior to the meal we were served complimentary chips, salsa and black beans dip. The bean dip tasted a little off but I appreciated the additional dipping option. For the margarita flight, I ordered one pineapple, one sangria and two mangonada. I wasn't expecting the mangonada to be so dark, but after learning everything is premixed, it made sense. Overall the margaritas were okay. I was informed that they use Patron in them. Saturday November 9, 2024 was my first time ever stepping foot in this restaurant in Macon, Ga. My sister wished to celebrate her birthday with us at this location because she had heard of it by word of mouth (my sister works at a dental office). Upon arrival we were instantly greeted by 4 amazing women who were polite, friendly and welcoming. They asked how many to prepare for dining and quickly seated us in an enclosed patio room which was decorated so beautifully. Our party of nine felt as though we were in a private area due to the spacious dining room. The walls are beautifully decorated with Hispanic art and cultural elements. The menu was designed simple but easy to use if you have ever dined at a Mexican restaurant before you see Combo meals, a la carte and then specialty entrees. Our waitress was Mary and she was the Princess of Wait Staff! She took our drink orders, supplied chips & salsa, and made sure to separate our orders by groups from the beginning. She asked our names and always referred to us by our names throughout our dining experience. The food came to our table rather quickly and was hot and seasoned to perfection. The manager, Dennie visited our table soon after to check and make sure our food, drinks and service was to everyone's liking. PERFECT! The margaritas and tacos were my favorite but the Happy Plate was a very tasty item and when I return that's what I plan to order. DELICIOUS! As we rapped up our evening the check out process went smoothly and quickly due to Mary's excellent service and organization skills as a server. Pedro's staff made us feel so special and loved with this experience at their Riverside Drive location. We liked the combinations of food. Our server was most cordial. The restaurant has really beautiful decor that is far better than almost any other restaurant including comfortable booths that are high and private. There is interesting decor to view at all angles. Definitely glad we found this restaurant and would revisit. Great house margaritas too. read more

So I returned today to get the rice that was left out of my order last time and to order charro beans of course and a puff taco. The puff taco is well seasoned however it is greasy and that makes the shell soggy. I ate it with a fork as there was no way to pick it up without falling apart. First impression upon walking in was how bright and authentic the decor was. We were greeted and seated promptly. It took nearly 10 minutes for a server to approach our table even though the restaurant was half empty and it was later, nearly 8:00 pm. Our server took our drink orders and we ordered our daughters food immediately as she was starving. About 10 minutes later our daughters food arrived, waters were brought and our order was taken but our drinks from the bar didn't arrive. Another 15 minutes or so went by without seeing our server until our food arrived, at which point we asked if our drinks were coming and she said she was sorry, she would check. Our drinks finally arrived 5 minutes into our meal and they were horrible. Very watery, no real mango flavor and the tequila used tasted more like vodka than tequila. I would not recommend a margarita here. The food was pretty average but did have large portions. Overall I don't think we'd return. read more

I visited for lunch and it is a MUST I return to try more. I ordered from the lunch menu; Burrito Supreme, exactly how it comes and charro beans as my side. When I say delicious. OMG! The charro beans were the best thing on my plate. If you never tried, I PROMISE YOU it is worth it (see pictures). The guacamole was good too. I sat at the bar because it wasn't crowded & the server was nice & paid attention without having to ask me "am I okay" a bunch of times so I for sure appreciated that. Food just ok and not very well seasoned for my taste. Pure vanilla as far as Mexican goes. Salsa lame. Once was enough.

Though not cheap for lunch, undoubtedly the best Mexican in Macon. Very up-to-date dining area, typically Mexican colorful, and clean immediately drew us in. Our server was pleasant, knowledgeable, and attentive to our every request. The guacamole is a must while you wait for your meal we would say. Our entrees (vegetable quesadillas, chicken enchiladas, beef enchiladas, rice and refried beans) came to our table in a very short time and hot. Definitely a recommend. read more

We ordered two chicken fajitas, a tequila sunrise and a Bud Lite. The grilled chicken was cooked to perfection. You could tell that the vegetables were fresh. My refried beans and rice were excellent. My waitress was very friendly and courteous. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was great and. Took forever to get food which is unusual for a Mexican restaurant. I was suppose to have chili con carne on my enchiladas. They were out and in the process of making more. They put plain red sauce on my enchiladas, hoping I wouldn't notice! My Skinny girl margarita was so sour I couldn't drink it! My enchiladas were supposed to have rice and beans in it. The food was good but not exceptional here. We did not receive the margarita that we had ordered and cancelled it after 15 minutes. This was after seeing many others receive their drinks quickly. The service was ok. The place just seems poorly ran with people caring more about a possible photoshoot/commercial than actually trying to get the guests what they wanted. They also left that aforementioned margarita on the check after we cancelled it and took additional time to take it off. Will not be eating here again for a while even if the food was very good. Beef tacos were horrible, steak salad good. Ok price but small portions. Very loud space, nice server, very apologetic for long wait time for drinks, which were weak and food. They charged us for the tacos even tho they weren't edible. As we were paying, the Manager came to see if we wanted to change it out? IMO, should not have been charged. First time visit to this new restaurant. Very impressed with the ambiance and decor. Service was good and prompt. I had the grilled chicken enchiladas which included beans and rice. The chicken was a bit dry so I would avoid that in future. As with any restaurant, the value is more important than just price. I don't think paying $15.95 plus the over $4 grilled chicken up charge for two enchiladas is good value. I will likely not return to Pedro's. read more
