However, my new HOA did not agree with that and we received some brown grass fixing notices. It quickly moved up to number one to do. I found a few places on Yelp and got quotes. All the turf people didn't do concrete and all the concrete people didn't want to do turf. It was weird. The last estimate was Joe and Hugo and I was blown away. Joe set it up so I'd be able to meet the partner in the business that takes care of the concrete and he, the guy in charge of the turf. All in one short. I greatly appreciated him putting this together so quickly. They both arrived on time and provided straight forward and very reasonable pricing. They were both professional and knowledgeable. Since we had to run the plans with HOA, Hugo had to provide a drawing of the plans and submit for approval. This process took a couple of weeks and then our date was set for project start. The demo crew arrived bright and early. They encountered an unpleasant surprise when they found a whole bunch of roots on the front lawn. The crew hacked all they could but it wasn't enough. I spoke to joe and he gave the option to either add a change in work order/more money to hack some more or hire a pro tree root removal guy. After I spoke to some tree guys, no one wanted to touch the roots. We ended up DIYing it ourselves and got them removed in time for the turf project to continue. Joe gave me time to ensure the slope and everything was to my liking before they came Back to continue the work. The concrete molds were made. Joe and Hugo were very patient with us changing the plans a couple of times and still kept a friendly and professional attitude. Each time we had any concerns, we spoke to Joe and it was quickly addressed. We also had a couple concerns from our neighbors which were addressed promptly. Please don't let the ups and downs of my experience deter you from going with green forever. I want to assure you that Joe and Hugo and willing to go the distance to make sure everything works out the way their clients wish. I greatly appreciate all their efforts to give us OUR beautiful green forever lawns and nicely poured concrete :) thank you Joe, Hugo and Team!

Our list of corrections is incredibly long and there's no need to air out all of the dirty laundry at this point, but it's important to point out that it's been far from a good experience in having them handle a very expensive project. Nearly 2- 1/2 years of dissatisfaction, disappointment and frustrations and we are roughly a year into trying to get an important repair addressed.

Unfortunately, the project turned into a stressful, drawn-out, and disappointing experience. What was promised as a 2-3 month job took over a year to complete, primarily due to delays with the coping color and other "complications." Communication about timelines was inconsistent, and the prolonged process left our yard unusable for most of the year. To make matters worse, 15 plants died after planting, including a palm tree, which was especially frustrating given the investment. The concrete work is also poorly done. We have white powder residue, chips, cracks, and noticeable water pooling because the concrete wasn't leveled properly. When we brought this up, we were told the concrete issues were the fault of "Holiday Rock" in Adelanto, not something we should have to deal with as the customer. We also had an issue with the price changing after our agreement because they "forgot to include certain costs." Thankfully, we were able to resolve that, but it added to the overall frustration. Juan Sr. is a nice person, and the team clearly knows landscaping, but that doesn't make up for the poor results and lack of follow-through. They've come out multiple times after completion but still haven't fixed the concrete issues or addressed the dead plants adequately. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but when you spend this much time and money, you expect the job to be done right. Unfortunately, in our case, it wasn't.

He took the time to clearly explain the scope of work, and it was evident he had strong experience in this type of project. We also felt his pricing was reasonable, and he even offered some options to help us save money. The crew--Omero and his team--have been fantastic throughout the process.
