I wrote Joovy and called about the issue on the second day I got someone on the phone she asked me to send proof, I did and she told me they would replace it then sent an email saying "case closed". I asked if there were any discounts that could be given for the inconvenience. She told me sorry, no. I said okay as such I would be posting my situation online and in reviews and likely reporting them to bbb. I commented on a bunch of their posts on instagram they told me to call them immediately after they subsequently blocked me on instagram then requested a return to sender on the ups order that was already in my state for a the new and correct stroller which I paid for! They are ignoring my calls, emails and have not refunded me my money. This is my first and only experience with the company and I will be sharing this information on every platform I have- they have lost numerous customers from this and all I wanted was some accountability! It's all been extremely frustrating. I cannot say for the price it's worth it because I simply never received what I paid for. I've also seen other reviews of them sending out used strollers so.... I assumed they were just up front helping another customer. I was perusing and enjoying all of the precious baby clothes when a sales associate asked if I was still doing okay? Which threw me off a little because no one had helped me, yet. She was kind to take the items up front that I was carrying. I couldn't decide on a theme for my gifts, because there were so many cute things to choose from! So, when I went to checkout, I asked for help. That's when the magic happened. The two other sales associates up front helped me make decisions and we chatted. They made the whole experience better! I cannot wait to give my friend these gifts for her baby shower. I will definitely come back for baby gifts in the future. My one big suggestion is that their should be a welcome form employees when people walk through the door and warm customer service from the start of the shopping experience.

There were four employees in the small boutique store, and only a few customers that were perusing/asking questions about strollers. I let them know that I needed the stroller tomorrow and also that it would be really hard to drive in on a workday in traffic to grab it, but they still said they couldn't pick it up because they were too busy with other customers for the rest of the day (like what???)... The owners, a husband and wife team, were incredibly helpful. They showed me both strollers side by side, gave me honest and thoughtful feedback on the pros and cons, and helped me make the best decision for my needs. I ended up going with the Bugaboo and I am so glad I came in to see them both in person. This is a great little mom and pop shop where the owners genuinely care about their customers and take the time to make sure you leave with what is right for you. As the events continue, I am seeing a pattern of people who are pricing items at MORE than half price of retail... I'm being honest when I say I am not going to spend $250 on a wagon when I can get a new one for the same price at target. First off, isn't that against the "rules". Secondly, why are people trying to COME UP from second hand items... ??? Trying to profit off new moms trying to buy things for their kids..? Make it make sense... you have new moms and grandparents shopping for second hand items that are banged up at almost retail price. It's very disappointing. The rules need to be enforced. On Saturdays, the 50% days, there's nothing left that's of decent quality. It's all ragged clothing and broken toys, that's not discounted. The volunteers are just moms and dads who want a higher return on their items so don't blame them if they can't answer your questions, they'll just tell you to read the sign and look on your contract, yeah no help at all. If your items come up missing, forget even asking about it. It's a loss basically, no compensation, no solutions , just sorry it's all donated or your loss! The volunteers make mistakes and either don't scan items at check out or someone walked out with it , because your items will go missing and that's money you lost. Someone needs to revisit the white board and train the volunteers more thoroughly so they don't make mistakes that end up costing us more. There are other reviews about THEFT & their items found in another persons cart.. I believe it. They also delete comments on their Facebook and Instagram when shoppers and sellers try to start a convo about what concerns them about the event. Yup, that's the solution to honest feedback, just block and delete instead of listening to the moms and families that keep your business going.

The manuals were worthless so I turned to youtube for instructional videos. I was pretty confident I installed them correctly but apparently over 90% of carseats are installed wrong so I made an appointment to see Ben. He is a certified carseat instructor that runs his business out of his home in Irvine. He charges $20 to inspect and make sure it's in properly or $40 to install. You can make an appointment online and it only too him 30 minutes to check both. Both carseats I installed were in fact not installed correctly. I am so glad I saw Ben. I brought my twins with me and put them in the stroller while Ben gave me step by step instructions...this way I would know how to do it on my own if I ever took the carseats out. His service although not free is a heck of a lot more convenient than trying to get an appoinment with CHP in Dana Point which can take weeks! Even if you do think you installed the carseat right, make an appointment with Ben just to be safe! He accepts cash or check. When you arrive don't pull in the driveway, park in front of his house where your car will be on a flat surface not an incline.
