I finally got to walk through the Rosen House--it's full of charm and history. The Sunken Garden was especially calm and relaxing. We had just been to NYBG, and while Caramoor is smaller, it's just as scenic and serene in its own way. Hoping to come back soon for a concert at the Rosen House--it seems like the perfect place to enjoy live music.

It seems there are three places for a concert, a main stage with seats under a tent an outdoor uncovered grass space and a courtyard that is partially covered. It was thick and very sweet. Fries were standard shoestring that also felt like they were store bought, but they weren't greasy at all. I'll try the wings next time. If they are not on special, they are pretty expensive if you calculate the cost per wing. Decent beer selection. Guinness comes from the can and they use the small 12oz tulip glasses. They do have a small selection on tap. Prices are reasonable, even for the specials, although the serving size is only good enough for a snack for anyone bigger than a 6th grader. Burgers seemed much bigger and plentiful from what I could see. Trivia on Thursdays is fun, although it is corporate trivia, which is not as much fun as personally tailored trivia that you see in some other places. They have lots of numbers questions or facts that no one would ever know because they are too detailed and the host generally does not understand the answers or mispronounces them. Definitely worth a visit if you are local, but don't come hungry if you plan to order a special.
