I wanted to try Pegasus pizza because I've heard good things about it. When I walked it at around 4 O clock the place was pretty dead but probably due to not many people eating lunch or dinner at 4. My friend ordered a medium pizza and it definitely looked WAY bigger than what you think it would compared to the pictures of the pizza. I got a Pegasus calzone and full Caesar salad. While I was waiting a guy come up to me and handed a bag to me and I said is the calzone in here and he said no so I waited for another 10 minutes. Then another guy handed me my calzone and salad and I was confused because I had already gotten the salad so I said oh what is this, pointing to the bag and he rudely commented "I don't know, I didn't give that to you." And then proceeded to rip the bag open and once he noticed I got my salad he took the other one and just walked away. You could say I was a little irritated with the whole experience and probably would not come back again. For one the rude service was a huge turn off, the prices are a little pricier but granted their not a Pizza Hut or papa johns so they can mark up their prices, and thirdly there food was decent but I think I've had better. All in all, it was a good experience, however would probably not cross that bridge again. read more

Do not go here. The beer is good, but the pizza is mediocre and takes 40 minutes to an hour to serve. Also they are kind of crazy about freeing up parking space. They towed my car by mistake because they thought it was another car that had been for a couple of hours and then refused to pay my impound fee. My garbage pizza ended up costing me almost 200 dollars because of their screw up. read more

i'd give it 5 stars but the service was pretty weird. the female server working during the day made us uncomfortable. she wasn't very friendly and seemed more interested in wiping down tables and counters (that were perfectly clean) then helping us. when she did finally help us, she had a rather insulting fake-friendly voice that screamed "i'd rather go back to my ocd table wiping than help you" and as soon as we were done ordering, she did. other that...the food was excellent. we had a medium half and half and it was a little under $20. gotta head to portland to get pizza this good. we'll be back, but probably at night to avoid the weirdo. read more

This place is alright, definitely a bit better that track town I think, probably because they serve beer. Anyways, great selection of pizzas and really good for watching sporting events like March Madness. Especially if you're an Oregon fan, because that's all they'll play. Surley counter staff, bad food. I'm longtime Eugene resident. Ordered a slice of BBQ pizza and was served a cold slice of raw dough with hot sauce, a heaping pile of raw green peppers and raw onions. I had the Little Italy. The gorgonzola is delicious and I really enjoy the fresh basil. However, the roasted red peppers were slimy, I think they just pulled them out of a jar and tossed them on top. It would be great if they roasted their own red peppers, it isn't hard. The worst thing was that the bottom of the entire pizza was burnt. It really ruined the whole thing. Any pizza place should be able to put out a pizza that isn't burnt. I'm really not happy with them. read more

My wife and I have been coming here for years, and we've never had a bad experience. We often stop by for a quick slice or mini-pizza for lunch or bring friends for dinner. The pizza is consistently terrific (do yourself a favor and try the Mediterranean), as are the sandwiches and salads. With a wide selection of tasty microbrews (and an awesome root beer on tap), a friendly staff, and several high-def TVs, it's a great place to watch sports or hang out with friends. Patio seating outside, big wooden booths inside, great food, reasonable prices--what's not to like? Highly recommended. read more

Came in on a game day for the first time and was thoroughly disappointed in the performance of the staff. Everywhere I looked was complete chaos and the staff was clearly overwhelmed/under prepared for the day to come. We waited 62 minutes for our pizza, after being told it would only take about 15-20. We stood around while the front counter girl repeatedly looked at us, knowing well who we were, without ever letting us know that our pizza was still "backed up". We will not be coming back here, and we hope that you can be better prepared to handle a medium sized rush. Embarrassing. read more

marvelous pizza. bbq pizza, pesto pollo, and the hawaii 5-0 are some of the greats that their extensive menu has to offer. it is worth going here with friends, split the bill and enjoy some of the best pizza on the west coast. on top of the great pizza, is a very nice bar. it features a pool table, several HD tvs, low prices and some well schooled bartenders. its worth looking into and deciding for yourself whether its the place for you. it has recently become my hang out, quite, laid back and great prices read more

I have loved this pizza place since moving here over 11 years ago. Today we decided to order pizzas and a salad for lunch to be delivered....BIG MISTAKE. We called the campus location for delivery at 11:11 was put on hold ( no problem), disconnected called back, no answer, called back at 11:16 and placed an order for one large pizza, one medium and a greek salad, ETA I asked, 45 minutes was what I was told. Called back at 12:19 only to be told they have one driver and he is still out and can I wait another 15 to 20 minutes, I said well not really I have people on their lunch breaks and was told 45 minutes.Pizzas and salad arrived at 12:37 was slightly warm and so was the salad. The cost of this order was $68.75 plus the driver was given a cash tip amount. I talked with David who I assume is a manager he never identified himself as one, who said he was sorry. Then proceeded to tell me why the ONE driver they have on Fridays was basically being used as a delivery guy for someone who ordered before me. He said in the future our office who always orders from here needs to order a day ahead, hmmm a day ahead for 1 large and 1 medium pizza and a salad..............really? David apologized profusely, but come on my bill was over $70.00 including tip. Not once did he offer any discount, compensation or anything other than I am sorry. Pegasus is a longstanding favorite in the City of Eugene. Multiple readers choice awards and popular amongst the college students due to it proximity to Campus and Fraternity Row. Pegasus is one of the three East Coast Style thin crust pizzarias that all other pies in Eugene are compared to. The others being Sy's and Mezza Luna. For a long time I called this my second favorite pizza in town as an alternative to Sy's and the two pies have many similarities. I can't say I have ever had a bad experience at Pegasus at either location, aside from the fact that you sometimes end up waiting awhile at the Campus location on busy nights, but worth the wait. Play some pinball, watch some sportscenter on one of their dining room TV's or grab a drink downstairs while you wait. Their pizza is comparable to Sy's and is one of the finest examples of East Coast Style thin crust in Eugene. If they have a leg up on Sy's at all it would be due to the fact that they have a large parlour style dining area that Sy's does not, and a bar downstairs at the Campus location. For that reason I would say it might be the best place to sit down with a group of people and enjoy a pie in Eugene. Sy's is really the only place that I would say has hands down better pizza in town, just no place to sit and eat with any kind of group larger than 2. You can't go wrong eating here and many think this is the best pizza in town. I personally like their pies better than Mezza but not as much as Sy's. Parking can be difficult on busy nights as well so just be careful where you park, it is on campus and Lovely Rita likes giving out parking tickets. If you're going to judge Eugene on it's pizza, this is one of the places you must try at least once. If you are in a hurry, I would recommend trying the Oakway Center location, it's just as good, lots of parking and it doesn't get as busy. They only do slices for lunch though, so get there before 5PM if you don't want a whole pie. Oh, and can you grab me a slice while you're there, I'm fine with just cheese thanks.... read more
