Let me establish my credentials as a pizza reviewer. When I was in college I ate a pizza every day--in addition to all other meals. For the next 30 years I limited myself to pizza every Friday--and occasionally a few other days of the week. I am one of the few people in captivity who can and often does consume an entire 16-inch pizza with sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, onions and black olives by myself. Not proud of it, just sayin'. (I only did that in public once.) Pegasus pizzas meet every standard of excellence in my book. The sauce is flavorful, the crust is crisp and tasty, and the cheese is quite adequate. The best pizza in town! Some people might argue and say Track Town, but I respectfully disagree. Pegasus has some really great pizzas, especially the BBQ chicken! And on Tuesday nights they have a great deal, downstairs in the bar you can get a personal size pizza with any two topping and a beer for either $6 or $7, depending on domestic or import beer. read more

To My Annoying Roommate, Not only do you irritate the s*** out of me sometimes, but I get upset with the apartment you chose for us to live in. NOT a good idea to live across the street from the pizza parlor! Such a tease smellin pizza goodness from across the street... My broke-ass college student can't afford it all the time (cause it's more than the popular chain delivery pizza joints). But the gourmet pizza's are worth trying. I only really go there to watch games cause they have (5) HUGE tv's. Kinda has the old-school parlor vibe with the big booths. Although it's irritating to hear the raucous of people enjoying their pizza's on the small outdoor seating area when I'm stuck in our s***ty-a apartment...but I don't blame them. It's so nice the sit out there when it's warm in the late afternoon before the sunset...pizza+beer+friends+nice weather=Suhweeeet afternoon. Lot's of pizza to choose from, so pretty much hard to not get one that you picky eater won't like. I like to get cheese bread with the marinara sauce just to snack on too. It's nothing special, looks like a mini pizza with cheese on top of bread...but it goes good with my beer. The pizza is eh. It's not anything special but there's nothing wrong with it. I really love the salads, though. You can order either a full size or a half, and they're packed with yummy, fresh ingredients. I usually come here specifically for that and the pizza is an afterthought. I ordered a build your own pizza with 4 items. They put green pepper on it instead of green onion. FOUR items and they can't get this right? AND only one table was occupied in the entire place so it wasn't because they were too busy? Also it was my understanding that it comes with medium thickness crust. She said I could have it thinner if I ask for it. I can't imagine there being a thinner crust than the one I had as this one was paper thin. The pizza was soggy from the pizza sauce, I do not know why this would happen unless it was because it was so thin? Wish I could post a photo. I really like this place. It has a great atmosphere and their pizza and cheesy bread are really good. Crust that is on the thin and chewy side is a good change up from the more crackery crisp Papa's Pizza style. I recommend it highly for the pizza, not so much the wings. They are a bit soggy and not their specialty. The prices are a little high, approaching $30 for a large but I think it is worth it if sharing with some others. Fathoms, the bar below is my #1 favorite bar in Eugene. Brings back the feeling of drinking in a friends basement. Good Times! read more

Of all the Pizza choices in town they are very high on my list. I like the Pizza and the place. Food is always good and the atmosphere is relaxed and fun as you would expect on campus. Yum! My sisters family and mine destroyed 2 extra large pizzas, definitly worth the money!

We called in our order 35 minutes earlier for a pick up order, they said it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. We came in to pick up our order well after it should have been ready (we were in a hurry) and had to wait for about 10 minutes. When we politely asked about our orders the workers were rude to us and giving us attitude. I went to check with one of the male servers to see the progress on our order and he said, "you're not the only customer with pizza is in the oven" very rudely and continued to give attitude during our interaction. I love the food at this restaurant but the customer service makes me never want to come back. read more

While in town for business we stay at the Lane Events Center in our motorhome, after a late night of work we order from Pegasus. The food has always been awesome from the pizza, salads or the garlic knots. This last time after the delivery person left we noticed we had one too many salads and no garlic knots. We could not catch the delivery person. We weren't going to complain. Then about 20 minutes later their delivery car returns, with some hot garlic knots, a heartfelt apology and two sodas. Now that is customer service! We will order from here on our next trip for sure. read more

I ordered a BBQ Chicken Pizza and the bottom crust was made too thin to pick up the slices. I called Pegasus and the woman I spoke to on the phone was amazing! She was genuinely sorry and disappointed that I had received a pizza with a design flaw, and immediately got to work making me another. I actually used Pony Express to have my order from Pegasus Pizza delivered to my apartment. Because I'm a student I received free delivery through Pony Express but I was unsure how the new pizza was going to get to me (or if I had to pick it up myself). Pegasus called up Pony Express and had them pick up the new pizza and deliver it to me. I didn't have to do anything, I didn't even have to give her Pony Express' # or my address. She took it upon herself to take care of everything for me! Talk about amazing service!! I know this sounds truly rude but I feel the need to say something...and I'm sorry if this comes off incredibly passive aggressive. After a year of being a weekly customer, I am truly done with Pegasus. I am currently a student at the UO and live near Pegasus and I stop by to get a slice about once a week! I cannot lie, their pizza is delicious. I typically go around dinner time with my friends and this year I truly started noticing how disrespectful the night staff is. Usually there is the same female who always working behind the cash register at night and trust me when I tell you that she could not care less about customers or the way she comes off to people. If you were to think of a "mean girl" type, this is that girl. She will raise her eyebrows at you, roll her eyes, glare at you INTENSELY if you take just a few extra seconds to consider what toppings you want, you get what I'm saying. Once my friends and I ordered three slices of pizza and were planning to take it back to our apartment. We sat down at a table to wait for our pizza and she brought out our food after 10 minutes or so. We politely asked if she could please have the pizza to-go and joked that we were going back to our apartment to pig out on the pizza and watch Modern Family. It was like we were asking her to have a root canal because without a word she like a child just rolled her eyes, took our plates away, went into the kitchen, came back to our table, and dropped the pizza that she put in the to-go boxes onto our table. I know this sounds truly rude but I feel the need to say something...and I'm sorry if this comes off incredibly passive aggressive. I have noticed the same crew of guys that work here at night and they are just as openly rude. They are snappy and every single time my friends and I have an encounter with them, they act so moody. It's so strange to me that these adult act far below their age and are so unkind. HOWEVER, THE PEOPLE WHO WORK AT PEGASUS EARLIER IN THE DAY ARE SO KIND! : ) There is a girl who will take your order during the day and she is awesome! Genuinely interested in treating people well, always is extremely kind to me and every one she is serving. She has a great accent and she talked to me once about her living in a different country and how she came to the states. Such a sweetheart! Truth. Sauce was good. Dough was awful and the toppings were ok. So far, Coburg Pizza and Track Town pizza are the only ones that I consider real American pizza that is unique to their brand. Sorry Pegasus, I think Little Caesars is better than you. read more

I went to grad school at the U of O and Pegasus Pizza has some of the BEST pizza I've ever had. The BBQ chicken is awesome, the meat lover's is fantastic (we called it the carnivore special...), and the Mediterranean is incredible. It was here that I was introduced to the world of gourmet pizzas where pesto could be a sauce, and feta and sun dried tomatoes could be toppings. Pegasus was also where I developed my appreciation for micro brews and the Deschutes Black Butte porter. If you're ever in the area, and you've never had the experience, I'd highly recommend it. If you're a regular, then you already know what I'm talking about. The service can be slow at times but it's mainly because of the place's popularity. Also, FYI, the crust tends to be a soft crust style. If you prefer a cracker like crust, I'd recommend Track Town as they have one of the best pizzas of that style in Eugene. read more
