We got our first puppy during Covid in May. He's very cute and center of attention if we bring him…read moreanywhere. He is very playful, full of energy..the only downside is he's picky eater. We dicovered something wrong with his hearing when he was 4-5months old. We did test and turns out he is completely deaf. We communicated with Bev and she gave us options to return him or refund half of his purchase price. We couldn't let him go so we decided to keep him. Last week just days before his 1st Bday, he started to loss appetite so we did blood work and ultrasound. The doctor said his liver is smaller than normal and most likely he has liver shunts. We were crushed and devastated to hear the news. Overall, Bev was kind and responsible throughout the process about his condition. Our first puppy experience with SM Poodle definitely is bitter sweet. In the meantime, we try our best to take care of him and we hope he live his best life with us!

I have gone to petsmart multiple times and haven't had an issue up until now…read more I took my dog in to get a slight haircut and cleaning and showed a picture of what I wanted (same thing as always) and was ensured that was what was going to be done. Upon picking up my dog, I immediately noticed she was shaved completely.... obviously FAR from what I had asked for and I mentioned that I was not happy to which I was immediately dismissed and told "she was matted so we shaved her". My dog was not matted, never has been as I wash and brush her once a week... even then, shaving her was never discussed. When I started to talk to a manager I was immediately asked "was she matted" rather than a slight concern. I have attached the pictures of how she looked before, the reference picture of what I wanted, and how my dog looks currently.

The store is located in the cutest little town of Truckee amongst coffee shops, restaurants and souvenir stores. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a nice warm welcome from the staff and even Bentley, the store mascot! From the moment I walked in I noticed just how packed this lil store is. From floor to ceiling packed with all of the cutest toys, treats, clothes, carriers and so much more! This was mid September and they had to cutest Halloween toy display. I walked around for at least 30 mins just looking and deciding on some goodies! Lilikoi and I ended up with a Halloween mini lamb chop, a purple rubber bone and a beanie! We have had across the board experiences with local groomers - from "Don't bring her back," to "must have strong medication." I liked the last groomer personally but Mia never looked as nice as I thought she could look. Her face hair was always left long and her eyes disappeared. Her tail was left ungroomed. Sally, of 'For pets Only', took her in, and must have quite a way with animals. Mia had only half of her medication and did great. Mia has never looked better! We have finally found our groomer!

She looked me straight in the eye and turned her back to me and after standing and waiting for 10 to 15 minutes, I went to someone that looked like a manager another young lady with short dark hair that didn't seem to care about my complaint or concern. I'll never take my animals to this PetCo again. I'll start going across the highway too the other pet store! If the heavyset lady in the grooming area is going to act like that towards me, I sure as hell don't want her cutting my dogs nails.
